Evening reception on the 14th floor in their rooftop bar from 1730-1900. Unlimited drinks. Sketchy snack situation, though. A platter each of veggies/ranch, cheese/pepperoni, fruit. Hey, it's better than nothing, but once they're gone, that's it. They don't refill 'em. It's right in the heart of downtown Knoxville, so there's plenty to do. Lots of restaurant choices, shopping. There was some noise from the highway that is right by the hotel but it's not bad at all. The bed was soft and there was extra seating and also a desk and a fridge and microwave. No complaints at all. The nightly kickback was awesome. Decent food and lots of it. It was buffet style so you could grab what you wanted and then come back for more. It was kept well stocked and if you are over 21 they give you three drink vouchers. Also if you don't drink there is fountain soda that is free and also available 24hrs a day. Also popcorn is available in the evening. Great for movie nights in the room. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Again it was all well stocked and refilled constantly. My stay was super nice. I wanted to be able to relax and really not do anything and this was the perfect place for it. I could go out enjoy my day and then just have the ability to relax and unwind in the evening. I would recommend the Drury to anyone and everyone. It's great for families. They also have a pool and hot tub, which I didn't use, but my kids would have loved. It's also great for solo travelers or staycationers (who just need a good night sleep).

This Hilton holds itself out to be a "4-star hotel" and charges parking based on it - $40 a day. Despite this, it falls flat on its face on the most basic aspects of guest care. If you like air conditioning, this hotel is not for you. This Hilton has motion sensing HVAC unit. The unit turns off within 10-15 minutes of non movement, unlike most other hotels that will stay on for much longer after movement or might even stay on if you're in the room whatsoever. If you ask the front desk they'll be sympathetic but they'll tell you that there's nothing they can do, that they get complaints daily, and that management is well aware of constant complaints and doesn't care. I ended up getting 0 minutes of sleep before the biggest test of my life because of this hotel's incompetence. It is truly laughable to me that Hilton thinks this is an acceptable level of care for this level of hotel. That's just mentioning the AC - two of my four towels in my room were visibly stained, the bottles of shampoo and conditioner nearly empty, and even basic amenities, like water bottles, that are free at nearly every other comparable hotel, were $3. It is incredibly clear that whoever is running this hotel cares more about squeezing out every single penny possible from the guests than their comfort. Do not give your money to this place, they could not care less about how your stay goes as long as the check clears. Even after I told them about all of my issues, including having to pay out of pocket for a new hotel so I could actually sleep, there was nothing but empty platitudes and no offer to make anything right. An absolute joke of management running this place.

We asked for a luggage cart and he shrugged and stated he didn't know where any were located, except maybe in the closet by the doors. We checked back in a few nights later (I think Katy was her name) and she was incredible. Provided us with vouchers for breakfast since we are Titanium members and was very pleasant. We had no issues locating a luggage cart. However-first room we checked into smelled like cigarette smoke. So back down we went. Second room we were given smelled like marijuana. (Somebody had great parties over the weekend!) Third room we checked into was just right. Katy provided apologize and comped our parking for our troubles. The hotel is a super easy walk into downtown and the market square area. Parking is easy (under the hotel) and $12/day. The lobby and common areas are spacious and clean. All staff were passed said hello and exchanged pleasantries. We'll return!
