We booked an upper level room with access to the M club access. Although, upon using the M club, it felt like the whole hotel had access and was always busy with standing room only. The snack and appetizers for dinner were not very impressive. The breakfast was good, but was so busy that the one lady working could barely keep up with even dishes. She was so sweet, but felt bad for her not having any help. Do not recommend paying the extra cost for M club access. We booked a double king room. It was a nice benefit to have two kings. Beds were comfortable with four large pillows. The comforter was different than used to on the Marriott hotel line. It was a light waffle style vs a fluffy comforter. No robes in the room. But, there was a mini refrig in the room. The bathroom was the most unusual that I have seen in any hotel and specially for the higher Marriott brand. It was the SMALLEST I have seen. You could sit on the toilet and touch the sink faucet and then touch the shower knobs. No fan in the bathroom and the shower is a step up, felt like one I would be in a Mobile home. Not impressive. The staff were nice and great location. Overall, felt the quality was missing from the Marriott brand and would rank three stars max. Overall, it does feel like Knoxville could use more hotel options and especially more 4 star level hotels.
