There was just so much wrong with this place. I felt dirty and uncomfortable staying here. From the moment we got in the lights wouldn't turn on until we found the lamp. We tried to close the curtain but they wouldn't close all the way. The bathroom faucet was leaking and the ac made this noise that wouldn't go away. The bed was itching us and we couldn't sleep because the blankets felt like an old rag. When we woke up the next morning we found holes all over the curtains that looked like bugs had gotten to them. The blankets had holes in them as well upon checking. There was a stain on one of the bath towels and the furnishing for the entire place was just horrible. It was a last minute booking and we needed a place to stay but we could have gone anywhere else. Please do not stay here. read more

I checked in on a Sunday for one night. The office staff wore masks and there was no greeting. I wasn't given any options in terms of rooms. I just needed one night. The staircases were full of bags of trash. The landings had empty bottles. The rooms are old and smell old. The bedding was torn and the mattress did not fit the box Springs. There were dead flies on the hangers and floor. There was a giant hole in the bathroom door. The stay was quiet and I was not disturbed. read more

Pros: Price, cleanliness, insect free, decent sized rooms, fast check-in, had a microwave/mini fridge/safe and generally a nice place to stay for a quick rest. Cons: Phone/alarm/several outlets didn't work. Breakfast was ok for the price. Just have to make sure to make it in early before all the waffles are gone. read more

Roach infested. Left the Room within an Hour. Didn't even want a refund. Poor everything.

Pretty dilapidated facility. Rooms reeked of offensive cleaning fluid. Smelled so bad our noses burned. However, the place was clean. Facility sits adjacent to active airport with military helicopters operating 24/7 literally right out the door and across the parking lot. VERY NOISY! Constantly awakened all night. Staff was very friendly. read more

Poorly run. Came back to my room, nothing was done, bed unmade, Kleenex box in the bathroom was not replenished. Avoid this place. It appears to be a place in transition and the transition is not going well. The staff appear to be very sincere about satisfying the customers but it appears to be disorganized. read more

Pool Dirty. Trash overflowing. Tub and sink clogged up. Lights burnt out. Helicopter and airplanes running there engines all night. Last time I'll be staying here. Price is cheap but never again. I rather pay more and stay in a great hotel. read more

Hard to rate because it is in the motel class but out of motels and inns they are 5stars. First off management and employees are the best! Very friendly it is family owned but this family is awesome!!! The sheets are clean, and beds are clean. When I got there I was very scared of bed bugs and bugs in general I tore sheets off and inspected the corners and folds in the mattress very clean not even lint. No bugs at all! Room came with clean coffee maker and fridge! My plus was the fridge was bigger then hotel rooms!! Cold a/c! And shower have good water pressure, just remember if its too strong it does lower lol! Clean shower and toilet. Down fall was only soap scum in sink, like they just wiped it down didn't scrub. Floor too not scrubbed good just wiped down but no dust in corners so that's good. My family is very picky and where at first scared to stay but after checking everything and seeing how nice it was we will be back definitely next year! Oh and note there are cats on property but not strays they are cute and obedient and I'm not a cat person but they were a pleasure to see. read more

Very nice. All amenities. Inexpensive. My husband stays here when working here from out of town. They know him by name and treat him like a king. I love to come visit him. As well as visit the kitties that live here too! read more

I haven't stayed at the hotel yet I arrive today, but the customer service from Breanna has meant my expectations! She has been so helpful every time I have called! Thank you so much Breanna I appreciate how easy and convenient you have made my reservations. read more

Stayed here once a few years ago. Chose this place because it's dog friendly. Came in very late, and the guy at the front desk was nice even though it was such a horrid hour of the night. The room itself was decent. Didn't smell, fairly spacious, and clean. It was empty when I stayed here, so didn't have to worry about noisy neighbors. Overall good experience. Didn't have any trouble with airplane noise, although I did leave pretty early in the morning too. read more

This family owned motel is the best, most amazing motel you will ever stay in. The owners are so accommodating. The staff are so nice, and overall, for a small town, I cannot say enough for the hospitality. Clean, clean, clean...and great breakfast. S0 accommodating. Plus, if you are a cat lover, the owners have very friendly cats. Great nights sleep. We come here annually for a sight clinic in Imperial and every year they amaze me with great hospitality. Seal Beach, CA Lions love this motel. read more

my experience was bad the moment I drove up. the building and landscaping was unappealing and I arrived early so I went inside to ask if any rooms were available already....the guy who I assume was the manager overheard my question and yelled at the front desk clerk telling him. "check in is at 2 o'clock. no early check-ins!!!"....not good business to yell at your co-workers in front of guests while they're trying to help them. I walked out and checked in to another hotel down the street. I lost the money I paid for the room. it was only 44 bucks. so who cares....I guess you get what you pay for. read more

What a huge change! We have been coming to this place for 30+ years at least 2-3 times a year. I have to say now that the new owners took over, what a huge change. First off, great customer service from the staff, but most of all the owners and family. Fasuo is the best. I love the new room updates and look forward to seeing whats next. You will see us soon. Keep up the great work! Vic read more

This place is a dump. Everything is old. The hot tub is broken, the sauna doesn't work, the "gym" is a tiny room with machines piled into it. I will never stay here again. Try the Comfort Inn or the Best Western. read more

AVOID THIS SH-THOLE!!! Walked in the lobby and what is likely the day manager failed to even acknowledge my existence even though I was the only customer there. Eventually what is apparently the night manager asked me if she could help me. (I had a reservation). She told me they were not sure if my room was ready yet but they would check. 5 minutes later my room was found to be ready. Getting to my room I noticed litter all around the property, large military helicopter that loudly sat out in the airport for a full 1/2 hour apparently warming up. The door to my room had to be pushed very hard as it does not fit in the frame. Had to go and come back and noticed a sole and morbidly obese security guard was still in the same chair near the lobby. I doubt he could provide any type security to guests (for example if someone tried to break into my car or room and giving chase was called for). A garbage can on my 2nd floor mutual landing area was already overfull and still is. A filthy plastic table in near the bottom of the stairs for unknown reasons. The room has a coffee pot for 10 cups, does not reach the already overloaded surge protector, and only one cup was provided for coffee (but 5 plastic water cups). The room was otherwise semi-OK but overpriced. 1st and LAST time I'll stay here. I'd give them 0 stars but Yelp forces me to give them at least one. read more

This is the place I stay at, and recommend, when in the area. The managers are very professional and friendly, I feel as welcomed by them as if I were a guest in their own home. The rooms are older and very simple, but spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and A/C that really keeps the rooms as cold as you want it. Being close to the airport in this small town is not a dealbreaker as there is rarely any air traffic noise. They also have a restaurant with some of the best mexican food in town adjacent to the lobby. You simply can't beat the price if you want a clean, quiet & comfortable room in a safe area, and the best staff you will find anywhere. read more
