Terrible. At first this place seemed clean enough for the price. I've been trying to get the refund I was promised on 8/13/21 for nearly a month now. The manager on duty at the time, Crystal (who was the one good thing about this place), supposedly issued me a refund after I found several bed bugs on the bedsheets and the bathroom sink pipes leaked all over the floor. I was originally booked in a different room, but an employee had left a giant bag of trash in the room and it smelled terrible, so Crystal switched my room. I emailed Sam Malik, the general manager listed on the printout Crystal gave me before I left and never received a response. I just called on 9/8/21 at 3:30pmCST and was told by the extremely rude person (male) over the phone that I haven't gotten a response to my email because "Sam never gives refunds." He asked why I wanted a refund in the first place so I told him about the bed bugs and the sink plumbing leaking all over the floor to which he responded "I doubt that." Stayed overnight on a whim. Hotel staff was very polite. The hotel is dog friendly and the room was cozy. I would stay again.

Third year we have stayed here while traveling to Colorado. Seriously had gone down hill....checked in and room was dirty, sticky tables and no remote......second room dripping tub faucet, dirty grout and tile. And the prices have gone up from previous years. With dogs it was $90. Won't stop here next time. At this point it was just a place to get some sleep. read more

Stayed here on our way from Ohio to Nevada. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Room was super clean, shower pressure was amazing, water got hot. Offered mini fridge and microwave. The beds were super clean (we checked for bed bugs and there were NONE.) and firm. The pillows are also firm. The breakfast was amazing! Offered a huge (surprising) variety of foods and drinks. The worker was so nice. 10/10 would stay here again. read more

Not sure about all the complaints... We had a great stay. For as cheap as it is, we got a very clean room and an above average continental breakfast. Not sure what else you could ask for at this price. The beds were very stiff but for a night stay or baby adequate. read more

My stay was unpleasant. The TV did not work, no kleenex, no coffee carafe or cups to drink the coffee if you could make it. Was told breakfast hours were 6-9 am but may 'be late' depending on how late they stayed open. Went to eat at 8:00 and there was no breakfast service, none had been started and office was locked and closed. Asked for partial refund due to lack of promised items and no response to my email or a credit to my account. I would spend the few extra $s to get the service from competitors near by. read more

This place was disgusting! Nail clippings on the floor, wall peeling, rusty tub with faucet handle that fell off. The chairs were black with dirt, there was a dead bug under one pillow. Previous occupants' toothbrush shield on the floor. No lid on toilet and cigarette burns on the blanket. Two staff members said that room should not have been rented out. Manager was rude and loud, he offered an adjustment if we would not post a review. We said we already had posted a review. Eventually he said he would refund $14.00. That same day he added the $14.00 back onto the charge. The exterior was littered with cigarette butts, napkins and q-tips. Totally gross. read more

Stopped here as a halfway point between Des Moines, Iowa and Manitou Springs, Colorado. Located three hours east of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods, it's a great, safe spot to stay on the cheap and then wake up early, grab some crappy, free hotel breakfast and hit the road to get to the beautiful Colorado parks by 10 AM. Bed was comfortable. There was a fly swatter with some dead flies stuck to it, on our A/C, which was kind of gross but whatever. Bathroom towels were very thin but again, whatever. Everything appeared clean. Didn't see any bugs or anything gross of that nature. We slept fine. Not one healthy thing available for the complimentary breakfast but that's kind of expected. Hotel cost us $70 so I'm not going to complain when you're paying those kind of cheap prices. read more

Stayed for one night. Good place to lay your head. Stayed in a king room. Smart keys (you just tap) which was cool. Remember to turn them in to avoid a $10 fine. Floorboards need repair, you can feel the empty spaces underneath. They only give you 2 regular towels, one face towel and one wash cloth. That was disappointing. Newer flat tv but the picture is blurry so you can't watch anything. There is a restaurant on site, with slow service but good food. Has an indoor pool, we were too exhausted to go for a swim. Breakfast is good, had scrambled eggs and sausage links. They also have oatmeal, waffles and bagels/toast/muffins. Good price, decent hotel, would stay again and ask for more towels! read more

Clean and cheap for a 2 star hotel. Towels are a little yellowed. Clean white linens. Denver was completely sold out of hotels for the night because of the convention & wildfire so I drove 2.5hrs to the nearest hotel. Great value for the price. read more

BED BUGS!!! Avoid staying here if at all possible. After a fifteen hour drive from Nashville on our way home to Colorado, we stopped here in hopes of a decent place to stay. We woke up itchy and with red bite marks... We showed the front desk clerk images of the bed bugs and was given a refund. read more

Super nice lady works here. She is an extra 1-2 stars. We talked because nobody was at the motel. The beds were OK, slept good, but was weirdly cold most of the time despite heat blasted. coffee good, food fine, and i would recommend trying this place. Happy they were smart enough to not put people near me after a few others showed up. read more

Good way point between st. Louis and estes park. Clean and inexpensive room to shut the eyes.for a few hours. Price was 69.00 with a cheap breakfast included. No problem with a late checkin. No bad smells. No rats. We survived the night and are better for it. read more

Very clean and good value. Cleanest linens I've seen in a motel. My room had a brand new a/c and toilet. Everything else was dated. My non smoking room smelled very slightly of smoke, but I'm very sensitive to that. The bed was my only real issue. The mattress was terrible and gave me horrible back pain all night, and I'm only in my twenties! read more

Room was big and clean. Shower was fine and water pressure was good. TV was ok but half the channels were fuzzy. Breakfast had a good variety, but it ends at 9:00 am. I guess that is fine for farmers, but it really should go until 10:00 am. The only irritating thing was the girl at the front desk was clueless. Very comfortable rooms. For an older hotel, they did a very good job updating the rooms. They had nice carpet, nice linens, the best pillows I think I've had a budget motel, and flat screen TVs. We weren't there long enough to use the wi-fi or take advantage of the pool. But from the outside the pool looked nice. The free breakfast was nice. You can really tell they care about the place. I would definitely stay again if I am ever back in Goodland. The staff was very nice. read more

Room was clean but there was a bug in the bathtub and three annoying flies in the room. Bed was not great and pillows were small. Breakfast was decent. The bathroom by the pool was disgusting. It had broken soap, towels, and dead flies all over the floor and the sink counter. The toilet had dried up pee all over it. Also, there were no paper towels or soap to wash & dry your hands. read more
