They also did 8 fillings on all my molars the SAME DAY and I told them I had TMJ and once the numb my whole mouth my jaw locked and they still forced it open because they already numb me and didn't want to waste it.... I was furious to say they least and I;m just extremely thankful that he know excepts my insurance. They completely ignore any anxiety even if you tell them that you are uncomfortable you will not even receive a response. I wen through 2 sessions of a grind down of my teeth for a bite adjustment with water and saliva splashing in my face, a fluorescent light and a dental hygienist pulling my lip away form my face. 10 minutes before this nightmare ended I finally told them "you guys should get glasses for this" "we have them. Would you LIKE some?" They rude dentist responded. "yes" I replied, then 10 minutes later the dentist walks out without saying a word. Then when I leave the ONE receptionist is on the phone with the dentist literally sitting back in a chair staring off into the distance, I ask "can I leave?" the receptionist glares at me and says on the phone "I am SO sorry. Hold on." Looks at me "yes you can go, did they tell you anything?" I replied "no" she look away and then says again to the person on the phone "I am SO sorry about that." Making me feel like a total inconvenience. This was such an awful experience I will never return there.

I went from avoiding dental care to…read moreregular visits and care with Dr. Armiijo - four reasons: (1) Mike keeps it real - you know you're going to the dentist but the level of discomfort has always been and remains well managed, i.e., my fear of the dentist is a thing of the past. and this includes cavities, cleaning, bridges and implants - some serious stuff; (2) The Northtowne dental and admin. staff are excellent and a great team that instills confidence and sense of sincerity. To me, this is meaningful and appreciated; (3) I worked long-term overseas for many oof these years and coming back to Northtowne was always easy and the team catered to me, my dental needs and my schedule. I depended on them and they were there for me; and (4) At 72, my teeth have been an adventure but they are all still there and while not all OEM (original equipment), they work and the repairs and parts added are great, continue to do the job, and they look pretty good too. This is important stuff. I would never go anywhere else and highly recommend Northtowne.

He literally gave me the most pleasant numbing injection I've ever had at a dental office. As he was fixing 3 teeth, he explained each step as he was going through the process. Additionally, he inquired about my comfort level from beginning to end. I am so pleased with the outcome of my teeth, and literally have no pain or discomfort post procedure. Also, every single technician/employee in his office is outstanding within their specific roles, from scheduling, insurance processing/billing, to cleaning teeth, dental assisting, X-rays, and making molds of upper and lower teeth. UPDATE: I went from a 5 star review to a 1 star! I visited another dentist on June 10, 2022 because…read moreI was having pain in mouth I had fixed recently in Albuquerque, New Mexico last year with Dr. William Gardner DDS. All the work that I had done with Dr Gardner's office last year ... has to be redone! I am so upset ... I DO NOT HAVE THE WORDS THAT I AM FEELING RIGHT NOW!!! I am still having pain in a front tooth that was crowned. It's a live tooth and it shakes inside the tooth - like the metal around the tooth near the gums. It shakes underneath the seal and I can't bite on it to this day. Dr. Gardner said; it was just the gums and it will go away and it's now almost a year and the pain is still here. I have two front teeth that are 3 to 4 shades whiter than my other teeth and the one that has the crown shakes so badly it has to be redone. Plus I told the dentist I wanted an all porcelain crown not any metal in it and that was exactly what I got. They both have to be redone because metal shows at the gums and it's darker there instead of being vibrant. A tooth that Dr Gardner built up put a post in that was too big. Causing the tooth to crack and it has to be pulled! This could have all been avoided had I read the reviews and found a dentist that actually cared about me and my smile. A tooth that I was having issues with on the bottom underneath a crown that he cleaned up and I had to put on a new crown afterwards has a fracture in that tooth too. The told me they can't save that tooth and my tooth has to be pulled and an implant has to be placed. That's two teeth. I am having pockets underneath the teeth that Dr Gardner fixed. - I thought they were fixed only to learn they are NOT!! I should have read the reviews and should have paid closer attention to the news!! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME AND FIND ANOTHER DENTIST!!!! Original Review: On March 14th I reached out to Dr. Gardner's office. I called and also texted. I was able to send him some of my dental x-ray's. He texted me back saying he'd call. I waited less than an hour and then he called and I explained my immediate issue I was having with one of my teeth. He asked me if I could come in on the 15th of March 2021. Yes!! Let me tell you.... I went in and the staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Gardner even came to the front of the office to say hello! In all my years going to the dentist. Never have I known a dentist to do that. I had visited a local dentist and he told me that he wouldn't be able to do my work... but he would be happy to finish the job putting the crowns on. I left his office never to return. Dr. Gardner is my one stop shop for all my dental needs. He had to extract a tooth of mine that was fractured. It's a front tooth. He did a wonderful job! I also had a tooth prepped for a crown. He was able to make a temporary to cover up the missing tooth and the tooth that will be crowned. My overall review of Dr. Matthew Gardner - I have finally found a dentist that I trust to do all my work on my teeth as well as my family's. He took the time to answer my questions and let me know what he was doing the entire time.

Everyone in this office is kind, professional, and always puts you at ease with whatever you're having done. Their office hours are very accommodating, with early morning and evening appointments available if you need them. I've seen them several times over the last couple of years for everything from cleanings, to cavities, and more. Then, yesterday, August 7, 2020, I tripped over a small gate in our backyard, landing face first on our concrete walkway, damaging several front teeth in the process. I called their emergency number, and Dr. Babilonia answered right away. She asked me to text her a picture of my teeth, and upon seeing the picture, decided I needed to be seen by an endodontist, as the injury was more severe than she could care for in her office. Luckily, her husband, Dr. Hochberg, is an endodontist with a practice located near Montgomery and Pennsylvania. Agreeing that immediate treatment was crucial, she and her husband met us (I was in no shape to drive so my boyfriend took me) at his office within 45 minutes. Let me repeat that, just so it's perfectly clear. Dr. Babilonia and her husband came in on a Friday night, in the middle of a pandemic, to help me. Now you may think, well, that's their job, and sure, I wouldn't disagree with you, but they could easily have said, you know what, given the extent of the injury to your teeth and mouth, it's probably better if you go to the ER. That would not have been an unreasonable call to make. But they didn't. They gave up their Friday night to help me instead. Throughout the whole experience they were both calm, calming (I was a little freaked out), consultative, and clearly concerned about my physical, and emotional well-being. I'm going to leave a separate review on the page for Dr. Hochberg's business (Endodontic Associates of Albuquerque) as well, but I want to make sure I say how impressed I have always been with Dr. Babilonia, her staff, and her practice. Last night's emergency just solidified what I already suspected. These are good people, doing a good job, and taking care of their community. If you're looking for a dentist, you can't go wrong with Smiles That Work.
