I was so fortunate to have been referred to Anthony by my sister in law, also a real estate agent, who knew Anthony professionally. He couldn't have been more helpful to me in my decision making process, and ultimately the successful sale of the lot. Anthony's guidance represented the rare combination of knowledge, professionalism, and tremendous empathy for my situation. As deservedly busy and highly respected as he is, he always made as much time to talk as I needed, and consistently got back to me in a more than timely manner. Once my decision was made to sell, we got the best price possible. I can't recommend Anthony (and his entire team at Amalfi) highly enough!

Hi, I just wanted to warn people NOT TO USE BRUCE SCHWARTZ…read moreAS YOUR REALTOR. I "thought" that Bruce was my friend and capable of writing up an offer. I found my place without any involvement from Bruce. I just asked him initially to write up my offer. He doesn't know how to send an electronic offer and he took hours to write up my offer, and submitted an offer higher than what I offered! He was supposed to add an addendum and put in the wrong date! This is all he did and expects his commission and won't return my calls; I'm still in escrow. Thank God the sellers agent is capable and ethical; unlike Bruce who I "thought was my friend", so the sellers agent submitted the correct offer for me with the corrected date. The sellers agent is doing EVERYTHING THAT BRUCE IS RESPONSIBLE to do and INCAPABLE OF DOING. Bruce keeps contacting the sellers agent to find out when escrow closes so that he can collect a commission for not being able to even write up an offer. BEWARE Bruce is NOT A FRIEND when money is involved, he is incapable, dishonest and unethical. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH BRUCE! SCHWARTZ.

To give a little further detail on our experience, I'll admit that when we first met him in person, he looked a bit on the younger side--if you have this same reaction, don't be fooled--he grew up in the family business in which he now works, and his depth of familiarity and knowledge of the Palisades is hard to match. Furthermore, he is highly responsive to any request or question, gets things done, and is always following through on what he says he is going to do. All of these characteristics were instrumental in making our first time home-buying experience an ultimate success, but the final thing that I want to emphasize is that we tremendously appreciated Max's patience, humility, and willingness to genuinely listen and learn about us and what we wanted in a home (and a transaction process) as we navigated the twists and turns of various viewings, offers, counter offers, contracts, before finally landing the property that we happily call home today. When you combine all of these traits and package them with the multi-generational expertise, resources, and personal touch of a top-tier, family-operated firm--Amalfi Estates--I have no doubt that you will be just as grateful as we were to have Max representing you and your family.
