Carol Otero is one of the hardest working Realtors I know. She can get a house ready for sale or show you some homes you would like to be in. She knows just what is necessary to do at a minimum of cost to make a house presentable. Where it is staging the interior or planting in the yard her tastes are smart and reliable. I referred her to one of my clients and they raved about her efforts to get her a first time home. I interviewed 2 realtors and I liked Carol Otero's approach to how she would sell the property as well as liking her personality. This was my mother-in-law's home. My husband & I live out of state so it was important we had the right realtor. Carol was very knowledgeable, she listened to us and always gave us her honest opinion. She respected our opinions and never pushed too hard when we disagreed. She was extremely responsive, day or night by phone, text or email! (The woman never sleeps:) She hung in there when the "flippers" gave us grief and tied up the property multiple times with disingenuous offers, only to try and lower the price an additional $50,000 - $100,000. Carol always made sure she delivered bad news by phone and not via text or email so we knew exactly what was happening. At one point we decided to take the property off the market and do some renovations to attract different buyers. Carol recommended someone to help with the renovations and he turned out to be a real gem! He respected our budget and never tried to talk us into anything more than what we asked for. He did a terrific job at a reasonable price and kept us informed all the way! I don't know what we would have done without Carol's recommendation because we were very vulnerable living 2 states away. But the job got done and Carol stayed with us putting the house back on the market again. Throughout both listings, Carol made sure there was an open house every weekend, unless it was pouring rain, and she advertised the property well. I'm happy to say the house has sold and we are pleased with the end result! I honestly don't think we could have survived this ordeal with any other realtor.
