Reroof Exteriors - roofing gangsters!!…read more I need to warn my fellow Indy homeowners not to engage in any type of business dealings with Reroof Exteriors, located at 12591 Southeastern Ave, 46259. I found them here on NextDoor and their rep Coty Cubel, visited my house as I needed to fix a 1 ft wide hole in my roof. I accepted their quote. But in order to fit this repair before rain (storms were coming in 3 days), they claimed they were not able to sign a contract with me per Indiana state law. Their workers arrived on the 03/30/2023 and once they removed the first courses of shingles, they talked me into replacing the entire west slope of my roof for $4500, which I reluctantly agreed to it. They requested 75% upfront and 25% upon completion. I had a big problem giving some company money upfront, but they were adamat about it and wanted to call their workers down from my roof. I felt pressured, because they already removed half of the shingles from my roof and it would be impossible to wait for someone else several days to finish the job. Before commencing this job, I emphasized that my roof rafter tails are rotted and they need to sister up new lumber members to maintain the structural integrity of the roof. They agreed and reassured it would be done. At the end of the day, I inspected their work and found the repair was done in sub-standard quality. The roof rafters were strangely sistered with inadequate short pieces of 2x4 boards only in a few areas. Out of twelve rafters, only three were sistered up, however, in a very inadequate way. I refused to pay the balance of $1125 and requested them to come the next day and fix it. They refused. I contacted the owner of the company Ed Haley, send him the proof of the current inadequate fix, he didn't respond. Conversely, they filed Mechanic's lien on my house, demanding to pay the remaining balance. Reading from BBB site, they are used to do this. I found other home owners, who they did this too, if there was any dispute. I called other roofing companies for an estimate to fix after Reroof. I received quotes from $9500 -12500, since it is harder to redo someone else's shoddy work. Save yourself headache and call someone with more integrity and who will deliver quality work.

We paid extra for gutter covers when Reroof replaced our siding. They installed 6 inch gutters and…read moreput 5 inch plastic covers in the upper gutters, but they never tacked them down. They didn't put any gutter covers on the 1st story gutters. Some of the covers in the 2nd story blew out since they weren't tacked down. We took their word that this was done properly and only found out when we had a porch added. As for our siding, we told Edward that we were not happy with the back of the house, as it shows numerous seams. He sent out his contractor, who said there was nothing he could do about this. The siding on the back should have been redone.
