Even though Abbey was 17 years old, Dr. Bower thought that she would benefit from surgery to remove the mass. I will be forever grateful for those last few months of active love I got to share with her. LAH came to the rescue again in December 2016, when our Mini Aussie suffered a vicious attack. In this case, Dr. Lane sent us straight to the Emergency Vet Hospital in Ann Arbor, where our pet received excellent care, including 6 hours of overnight surgery to repair an internal hernia and dozens of bite wounds. Our little Lucy is making a strong recovery, thanks to the emergency treatment that she received at EVH and the painstaking follow-up by our friends at LAH.

Time and again, people on the Ann Arbor Dog Owners Facebook group mentioned Peaceable Pets. I read all the reviews, stalked Peaceable Pet's Facebook page (where Robin posts videos of her guests and informative articles about all things animals), scrutinized the information on her website, did a meet and greet with Marcy, our dog walker, a play date at the Dellwood Doggy Ranch (required for doggy daycare and boarders). I give it 10/10 stars. Peaceable Pets is an Ann Arbor treasure. You will not find someone more knowledgeable about dogs than Robin. Some reasons I love what Robin offers: 1. She understands my dog's unique personality, quirks, and needs. 2. She prioritizes the safety, well-being, and quality of life for my dog. 3. The pick-up and drop-off times worked well with my schedule, which was variable for a while, and then predictable for another while. 4. I trust her 100%. 5. Every time I bring Hagrid to her, he bounds toward her and doesn't even look back to say goodbye. Every dog parent knows that is a good sign. 6. Hagrid is calm and content when he returns from daycare. ...I could go on and on. As for dog walking, Marcy was wonderful and reliable. A few times I bumped into Marcy while I was walking Hagrid and saw his entire body language and vocalization over his joy of seeing Marcy. There is no stronger endorsement than that, in my opinion. To top it all off, Robin and Marcy have really interesting personalities, back stories, and talents when they are not caring for our beloved animals. Marcy speaks French. Robin sings in a band. Dr y and her assistant could not provide services because my dog was anxious around them. Even with trazodone and a muzzle they couldn't draw blood The first visit I got flea treatment for both pets. For my husky I got ear medication, cleaner, 30 trazodone, 10 primary for about $800. Second visit I had to sedate my dog. When the team arrived i had to muzzle her. The assistant tried to pick her up and then laid on her Dr y was not able to draw blood. This cost $178 even though no services were rendered. Dr y told me we aren't a good match. We need a clinic where our dog can be rendered unconscious. I agree with this. I was surprised to learn what a pet friendly visit means. Your pet must be docile or they leave . I believe the 5 minutes it took to scare my sweet husky was the most profitable. Well look for a local independent vet. As a follow up, the local vet we took our pup too is also fear free. Their version was to spend time building trust. Not the 'drug em, muzzle em and we'll try to do our work quickly' we experienced with Dr y and assistant. Frankly if I was drugged, muzzled, picked up and leaned on I'd growl too

Where to start??? We have 2 bad reviews for 2 separate appointments, you know that saying that says…read more"Try everything 3 times" DO NOT. We will not be back the 3rd time to Belleville Healthy Paws. Our dog was getting sick and we set up an appointment at the Belleville location, Then one evening she took a bad turn while waiting for our appt, we called to try and get her in earlier and they said the Dr. was not interested in staying later and to call the Westland location.. so we went there-- it was a nice office.. and the Vet stayed after hours to see out pet and got her all the meds and everything. so 5 stars for Westland. With that being said, lets circle back to the Belleville location.. The Walls and floor were disgusting but that's Besides the point Our Cat at this point had an ear infection. The one stars on this location do not linger from the truth. So we get there, the guy at the front desk is super rude and incompetent. Moving forward, we waited 38 minutes to be seen past our scheduled time, then once we got into the room we waited another 20-- our cat had some type of yeast infection on the outside of her ear that stunk.. so of course I relayed this information. The Dr. told me that if its external its also internal. so they take her in the back... and then bring her back to me with the syringe of medicine saying they couldn't get it all the way in and ill have to do it when i get home... to then be sent home with the rest of the medicine and a $500 bill... great... Fast forward 2 weeks.. the infection has gotten twice as bad and I call to get her in again.. they let me know that that Dr. is no longest in the office and I will be charged for another exam and more medication for this visit as well. So after arguing with the front desk and management. Needless to say, we wont be returning. Good luck to all if you go to the Belleville location, which sucks! Becuase that location is minutes from us and the westland is about a 1/2 hour.

I'm honestly questioning whether or not they did anything since I didn't see them do it. Anyway, I was assured his scripts would be sent to pharmacy. Next day, they call to give results and I asked again if the scripts were sent it, was told yes. I call pharmacy hours later and they have nothing. I call office back to as about this. First, the say the scripts were sent. Then they say they gave me the scripts yesterday, which they did not. Then the rude woman on the phone tells me I have to come pick it up in the next 15 minutes because they no longer send scripts to pharmacies! SAY WHAT??? Since when??? This lady then tells me "Stop yelling at me! I'm doing the best I can!" This lady is RUDE and a LIAR! Now, my dog is without his meds because these people can't seem to do their job. And again, this doctor said I could only get additional scripts if he had bloodwork. Inpaidnfor the bloodwork, but I don't know that it was actually done. Then, they screwed me on the scripts needed. I plan to report them to the BBB. And that rude woman at the desk needs to be FIRED! All negative reviews are about how rude she is.
