It seems on several occasions my wife is always told me that they are bad about not checking and rotating Goods that have expiration dates out and she is constantly catching expiration date problems. I wouldn't have believed it until my wife went there yesterday and bought two Starbucks coffees out of the fridge. Hers had an expiration date of November 29th 2018, however when I went to open mine and look it had an expiration date of June 11th 2018. Which is crazy because today is October the 11th of 2018. That means that this product went 4 months to the date without even being noticed that it had expired. It certainly does not mean that I will not shop here however I will be watching much more closely before buying perishable Goods to ensure that they have not expired.

She (owner) is worth getting to know because she lovingly raises her animals for us, the consumer. Nothing like knowing the family that raises your food. They also do CSA shares where you can buy a basket of vegetables (in season) from her every week. Her bacon is delicious, as well. Not too salty, not to sweet, cured with celery juice. Her food is amazing. If you can swing purchasing your food from local farmers, you really should. Food in grocery stores that are raised in feedlots have a lot of medication in them to keep disease down. I don't think this is a good idea for feeding your family. It's very dirty in appearance & seems to possibly need security. I am not one to easily get concerned about my purse getting snatched as I've traveled all over the country and consider myself good at reading people. I can be engaged in whatever task I'm doing and unknowingly to others , know exactly what's going on around me. More than twice , one guy was in my personal space near my cart, unnecessarily too near my purse. I decided to make eye contact with him in a way that let him know I was the wrong person and my purse didn't match his outfit. I had the same experience again, from a different person, same game. The merchandise was limited but it was shortly after the holiday. Again, everything seemed in disarray and it just looked and felt dirty! Like old dirt... not from the crowds for holiday shopping. Parking lot is darker than what you'd expect from a normal Walmart location. I will say the staff was very polite & helpful but I had to ask for help. I was never approached by a staff person during an obvious attempt to locate an item, as they passed by. It'd be great if a District Manager or above, would visit these issues. I'm no marketing expert but I feel the community & passers by could greatly benefit from REALLY NICE Walmart store type ! Seems Walmart would make more money as well. So I went looking for a CSA - community-supported agriculture - meat share. The search lead me to Caney Fork Farms. Boy, am I glad I signed up!! So a full share runs you $100 a month roughly. This is all organic fresh butchered meats from their farms. The taste is simply unbeatable! If you live in Murfreesboro, the closest pick up is at Smith and Lentz Brewery in Nashville once a month. Not too bad, really, for what you get!! The shares vary in meats and you can set preferences at the start. Plus, the weekend before your Tuesday pick up time, you can customize your share based on availability. You can even get extras - I got fresh local honey and focaccia bread this last time! I have had roasts, steaks, pork chops, ribs, bacon, Canadian bacon, sausage links and patties, and even bratwurst! The flavours are unlike anything you can get at a grocery store. Once you try the fresh bacon, you won't want grocery store again!! A full share goes a long way for the two of us. Family of four would need more, in my honest opinion. Nevertheless, the share is worth it to me for the freshness and flavour!! Shares go by the season, so if you do one season, you can skip out of the next if you wish. The staff is super nice, too!
