The birthday girl decided she wanted to shoot guns for her big day, so a plan was set up. Funnily…read moreenough, Centennial Gun Club hosts events and parties. Obviously, lots of specifics need to be taken care of before any shooting can take place. While we all signed the waiver before arrival as asked, there were some computer complications that showed otherwise. However, all staff were extremely friendly! Upon entrance to the club, you are in the shop-which can be overwhelming for a novice. The staff that work here in the shop as well as throughout the entire range are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We had a specific instructor assigned to us for our time here, and she was absolutely superb. The gun range itself is well set up with clear safety protocols in place. Any hobby at this time in 2026 is going to be pricey. However, if guns are your hobby, this would be a good place in terms of what you get for what you spend.

We had a variety of experiences and comfort levels with shooting, and Julie made us all feel comfortable and safe while meeting our diverse needs. As a novice, it was definitely worth the cost to have the extra attention while shooting.

This was the worst experience my brother and I have ever had at a gun range. From the moment we…read morearrived, the range safety officers made us feel unwelcome, and the way we were treated left us feeling like we were being singled out because of our age and skin color. At the beginning of our session, one of the RSOs would not let us do certain things that we had seen other customers doing. We understand that safety rules are important and have no problem following them, but it was frustrating to see what appeared to be different standards being applied to us. What made the experience even worse was the RSO making unnecessary personal remarks. He tried to compare his motorcycle's speed to whatever we drive, including making comments about us driving a Prius, as if he needed to prove he was better than us. When we mentioned that we knew one of the employees, he responded by calling that employee a "pussy." This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional, especially from someone working in a position responsible for maintaining a safe environment. There is a difference between enforcing safety rules and making customers feel disrespected, belittled, and unwelcome. We came to the range to enjoy ourselves, not to deal with an employee making personal insults and acting disrespectfully toward us. Given how the interaction went from the beginning, we left feeling that our age and skin color may have played a role in how we were treated. Management seriously needs to address how its RSOs communicate with customers. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and held to the same standards. Based on this experience, we would not recommend this range unless management takes steps to address this kind of behavior.
