Both have given me a real improvement in my sight. I can work on my computer for hours without eyestrain. Reading and driving vision is much better with my new bifocals. I want to thank Dr. Mitman again, she really is one of the best eye professionals I've ever seen. If my daughter and grandchildren lived here in Hamilton I would send them to Dr. Mitman. I am so grateful to have found someone I can trust.

Lovely office, and mostly accommodating, but sadly they did not take Medicare. ( ugh! ) I also felt the receptionist and policies regarding payments, discounts etc. was at that time; was a bit put off-ish in my opinion. I decided to not use them, ( I have dental Ins ) but my husband moved forward to the tune of about $10k of cash paid dental work over a few years. He stayed with them because he liked them. Fast forward to Thanksgiving week 2024. On the Friday before Thanksgiving tooth pain started for me and I thought I could manage it. Saturday to Monday was pretty much pure horrible pain, Ibuprofen and Ice packs. Over the weekend we called my dentist ( Husband did ) left a message. But he failed to listen to the whole message saying they were closed all Thanksgiving week. After figuring out that they were because I called in after not getting a return call Monday. After numerous calls around the valley for a 1) A dentist open, 2) Take an emergency NEW patent & 3) Not have to drive 50 miles to Missoula. My husband says lets call my dentist Dr Myer in Stevensville. He did and they said I could come in Monday afternoon, Nov 25th, then after that visit they worked me in for an extraction the 26th. I will say this... First off they got me in, second, they were so kind and caring. The first visit was yeah... its bad it has to come out. So back the next day for the extraction. Arja the tech is an exceptional human being and tech, she walked me through what, how, etc.. I paid extra $ for nitrous because --- well you know why. Honestly the extraction took all of like 8 minutes.. but I got Nitrous, topical numb, and then shots, but this is hands down the best doctor and tech I've ever had and I am 63. All went very well and Dr Meyer called me personally on Friday to make sure I was ok. I was, and I am. I had waited for my next appointment for 2 weeks for a bone graph for this tooth site as it was an extraction and 40+ year old bridge was removed. Just had that bone graph yesterday 12/9/24, again everything went well... my anxiety was the worst thing over these past few weeks. They understood my pain, the need for antibiotics and my anxiety. I was looking for another dentist anyway as the one I was going to; kind of treated you like cattle. LOL.. maybe its just a MT thing. LOL. Amy at the front desk is new and she is awesome as well. I just wanted to post a great review as I feel this is an exceptional dentist surrounded by an awesome team. I am very grateful for the kindness and help they gave me. Now an Implant or two next July 2025. And Just FYI, if a dentist makes you wait a bit longer, and your in for a cleaning or any other minor issue or your numbed up and not in pain... Keep in mind it could be for another patent that's in much more pain than you.

After extensive work, an…read moreabscess, a root canal, a pulled tooth, a bone graph, and a crown, I have always left Bitterroot Valley Dentistry with very little pain and an easy recovery. Dr. Myers is so gentle and attentive. He spends extra time to make things perfect. I've never encountered a dentist that makes every tooth modification feel natural and unnoticeable, without a time of adjustment. He does! Dr. Myers staff is so personable that I want them all to come over for dinner! Haha! Just stop looking for a dentist. They're the best. I had complained about how food gets caught between teeth every time I eat and I have to use floss to get it out. The hygenist brought to my attention the pocket forming around the tooth. Dr. Davidson confirmed her findings and they recommended my going to a gum specialist. He said the food jamming down while chewing was damaging the gums and the bone was starting to recede from the implant post. He recommended adding to the tooth in front of the implant. Dr. Davidson recommended taking the crown off of the implant and adding to it instead. That made more sense to me. They also called the lab to see about getting it covered under a warranty to save me money. I am very impressed with this office and so glad I changed dentists.

I've found 99% of the staff to be caring and thoughtful, and the office staff have been extremely helpful and quick. Special shout-out to all the ladies at the infusion center for always making my week feel like a spa day and for having my back while I'm there. You make a difference, and I appreciate you. I'm pretty sure I know all the ER doctors by now, and then some. A particular thank-you to Dr. Dodson for helping me work through a traumatic event in the safety of medical care during my visit on 8/17. He had also treated me at least once a couple of years earlier for an asthma attack. Although he probably didn't recognize me, I remembered his name. That familiarity helped me feel comfortable enough to bring what I was going through into the room. He didn't force anything on me, and that mattered. Although I was alert and awake, I was NOT okay. I had been strangled and punched in the temple two days earlier. The assailant had just been bailed out of jail that day. I was terrified. Humor and talking are how I manage myself under stress. My ER nurse probably needed earplugs after my panic attack because I couldn't stop talking. I was doing everything I could to get through the procedure before I completely lost my shit. There were also parts of that visit that needed to be better. One of the intake nurses had the care skills of a gnat. That interaction was a sharp departure from the care I've usually received here. With my treating ER nurse, there was one specific moment that could have been handled better. While she was pushing Benadryl, I told her to stop because my body felt weird. She continued until I raised my voice. Telling me it was making me sleepy did not address what I was saying. Please listen to patients about their own bodies. I'm 66 years old and capable of explaining my health and what I'm experiencing. Just because I couldn't immediately identify what was happening didn't mean I wasn't feeling it. What I understand now is that I was actively experiencing trauma. Being alert, awake, talking, or using humor did not mean I was okay. It meant I was managing myself the best I could. Girl, listen to your patients. I was raised by a nurse and grew up in hospitals. Need I say more? To the fabulous woman who came from X-ray--or whichever department--to take me for my CT scan: you were great. Thank you. Thank you also to the clinic for having a team ready for me. They were wonderful, and their trauma training showed. And bless the on-call therapist. She was calming, and she heard me. Given the Bitterroot's situation with DUIs and partner or family member assaults (PFMAs), I would suggest trauma training for everyone. I also need to raise this concern: I had been strangled and struck in the temple two days earlier, but no one performed an evidence kit to collect DNA or took photographs of my entire body. I had bruises--a lot of them, actually. That deserves attention. Lots to unpack here. I honestly appreciate the care I've received at this hospital. My gratitude and my concerns both belong in this review. Some parts of that particular visit fell short, while other people helped me through an incredibly frightening experience. And those infusion nurses? They make up for the shortcomings in spades for me. Thank you, ladies, for consistently making me feel cared for and supported.
