[Husband perspective] Doula Jackie is a miracle from God. The best decision we made during my wife's pregnancy was the decision to have Jackie as our Doula. Reflecting on the whole experience - from the first consult session to the delivery of our angel. We knew we were in good hands. She advocated for our birth plan, was able to communicate clearly with the nurses and doctors while I was able to focus on my wife. When the interventions and tough decisions came during the 50+ hour induced labor - she was able to help soothe my wife and assure her that everything was ok & it was. Jackie, we so thankful for you. Overwhelming sense of appreciation and love for you. You were a solid rock! If anyone is on the fence about hiring her.... Do it! read more

Nothing short of FANTASTIC! I was lucky enough to have Doula Jackie encapsulate my placenta. From the start Jackie was compassionate, professional, kind and caring. She is very experienced and passionate about her work and doula care. Jackie delivered my "happy pills" after my birth, sat with me and carefully went over all I need to know about my pills. I felt confident in her knowledge and expertise and excited to add the pills to my recovery process... and I am so glad I did, the benefits of the pills are innumerable and priceless. My postpartum experience has been so joyful and abundant and I truly believe its because I have my placenta capsules. My hormones are level and my energy is up. I feel peaceful and even, which can be personally difficult to achieve postpartum. I am forever grateful to Doula Jackie! read more

Jackie was such an incredible support as my surrogacy doula! Not only is she knowledgeable but she's also caring, integral and goes above and beyond! The support she provided throughout my pregnancy was amazing and come birthing day she was nothing short of incredible! Her intuitive nature helped me through an emotional labor and I will be forever grateful to have had her support and I'm blessed to also consider her a friend read more

As strange as it may sound, I think I have found myself a new placenta lady! I had Jackie encapsulate my placenta for my second pregnancy. My first one I also did it but with someone else and this time we were delivering too far from her, so Jackie was referred by another yoga mom. So glad I found her. She is responsive (text and email), takes paypal, reliable and FAST! She picked up within an hour of us giving birth and had the pills back to us in less than 24 hours, which is nice so that you can get its warming effects right away. She also included cord art as well. I would recommend her in a heartbeat for placenta encapsulation services. read more

Jackie was our doula for the birth of our daughter, Charlotte. This was our first baby and we had no idea what we should expect. We'd gone to the classes, but that only gets you so far and once you get to the hospital it is likely you may forget much of that in the moment. We did know that we wanted to have an un-medicated birth. Jackie came over to our home before the birth several times and went over what we wanted and didn't want to happen during the birth. It was really nice to get to know her on a more personal level before labor started. Jackie is a very warm person. She is easy to get to know and get along with. She is very professional and friendly. She has a ton of positive energy! :) When the time came she joined us right away at the hospital. Our birth got complicated very quickly and Jackie was instrumental in advocating for our un-medicated birth. She was just the right amount of firmness. We were impressed with her ability to be both gracious and assertive with the hospital staff. She had a strong, no nonsense demeanor without being rude to people. With me she was gentle, encouraging, supportive, soft and caring. When our labor "paused" Jackie had many ideas of how to keep things progressing. She was always there for us. Looking back, my husband and I both agree, we couldn't have done it without her. Of course we could have had our baby, but not in the way we wanted and had planned for. She is a truly amazing person! We wouldn't have wanted to do it without her. Our labor was almost 30 hours long and Jackie stayed with us until after our baby was born and things had calmed down. Her support, knowledge of the birthing process, options for different techniques and positions were invaluable for us. We would highly recommend Jackie! read more

I had my placenta encapsulated by Jackie. I She came RIGHT after the birth .. Haha .. Which was about 2pm and she dropped them off completely prepped the next day. So it was nice to start on day 2 postpartum. She also made a cord keepsake. The packaging was cute, professional, and simple. It's awesome to hear that she's going to offer more add ons such as prints, salves, and tinctures. I really enjoy her energy and her passion about placentas (and births and babies). She was also my birth doula but my fault for underestimating my labor progress... Haha but she was wonderful prenatally, easy to contact and quick communication, has a bunch of "tricks" in her bag, and all that good stuff. She's pretty dang awesome. read more

I met Jackie a few months prior to my due date. I was debating using a doula for the birth of my first son, but took too long to decide and she ended up being booked. We were bummed because she seemed so caring and knowledgeable about birth. (Don't drag your feet like I did!) Fortunately we were able to use her for my placenta encapsulation. We made arrangements with my doula to meet her after the birth. We were in the hospital for just over 24 hours and she already had my capsules ready by the time I made it home. Jackie is wonderful to work with!! I was very pleased with the results and would definitely use her again! read more

I hired Jackie to encapsulate my placenta when my first son was born and I am so glad I did! She was so sweet and helpful and explained everything to me. She stayed in touch with me and knew when I was headed to the hospital to give birth! I was skeptical about doing it I have to be honest, but I am so glad I did!!!! She came over with my pills the day I got home. I started taking my placenta pills right away and my after birthing experience was incredible! I'm so grateful to have met her and had her help! I highly recommend her! You won't regret it! read more

We totally appreciated Jackie as she helped us as a night doula. It wasn't easy for me to let someone in and help but I trusted her from the second I saw her. I would recommend her for sure! read more

Jackie was very easy and a pleasure to work with! She encapsulated my placenta and helped guide me with the process, as it was my first time. She answered all of my questions promptly and made me feel comfortable with my package. She kindly visited me while in recovery after the birth and brought me the pills within a day of returning home. She spent time with me explaining how to use the pills and tincture and also offered welcomed advice on becoming a mom of 2. I highly recommend Jackie's Services! read more

So I have not used Jackie myself, but I have had several patients who have. Jackie is professional and supportive. She knows medical ethics. Respects wishes of my patients and has offered amazing postpartum support. She is a mom herself and a baby wearing expert. She personally taught me how to wear my own child when I was struggling as well. If I have another baby, I am certain I will personally use her myself. Thank you, Jackie, for providing outstanding care to my patient mothers and babies. read more

So let me start off with I did not have a doula for the birth of my daughter. So when my sister was pregnant I wanted her to have a way better experience than I had. Jackie was amazing! She was kept our family calm and made it an amazing experience. If you are looking for someone to support you on one of the most life changing days of your life call Jackie! If I ever have another child I will definitely be hiring her as my doula! read more

Words cannot articulate how grateful my husband and I are for having our doula, Jackie Kleber, be part of our son's birth journey. After speaking to a number of doulas on the phone (and not being satisfied), I suddenly encountered Jackie's terrific attitude, breadth of knowledge, and sense of humor over one phone conversation. I was drawn to Jackie because she had two very different birth experiences and wanted someone who had a natural, unmedicated birth. The fact that Jackie overcame her son's challenging birth with such strength, openness, and love was already a positive sign for my husband and I. We simply clicked. This was reinforced during our "interview visit" which felt more like having a close friend over for coffee. Jackie was incredibly patient with our endless-first-time-parents questions. She never checked her watch and often stayed for hours during our prenatal visits, patiently easing our fears with more information and resources. It was during my son's labor and birth journey that I discovered how SIGNIFICANT it is for women to have a doula by their side. It would be an understatement to say that without Jackie's help, my husband and I would not have had the birth experience we hoped for. I started laboring and immediately called Jackie. She gave me terrific advice and constantly checked in on me via text messaging. I was in labor for four days before I asked Jackie to come over (during that time she stated that she's ready to come over the minute I need her - I just didn't feel like it was the "real deal" yet). She came to our house in the middle of the night on Day 4 and assisted me with my laboring. She was like a magician! She used so many techniques and tirelessly coached me. At some point she used essential oils and switched them according to my mood/need in real time. After spending several hours with us at home, we went to the hospital, only to discover that I was 2 cm. dilated. I was devastated, but Jackie was supportive and gave my husband and I the strength to carry on. On Day 5 I was about to break down. Just as I texted Jackie, telling her that I might have to take meds, she knocked on our front door. She secretly coordinated this with my husband - out of her own initiative. She arrived at 1:30 p.m. and brought along a hypnobirthing script with her. Within an hour I was in Laborland. At some point my water finally broke. We arrived to the hospital at 5:00 p.m. to discover I was fully dilated, and I had my baby at 7:54 p.m. - naturally and without any medication! If Jackie had not taken the initiative to arrive to our house, I don't know what would have happened!!! She was by my side during the ENTIRE delivery phase. She made sure that my needs and desires were met according to my birth preferences. She then stayed with my husband and I for several hours after the birth, making sure we were settled in before heading home (they made placenta prints and we all had fun!). Thank you Jackie Kleber for everything. We are eternally grateful. You are now an inseparable part of our lives! **Note to reader: If you made it this far you should not hesitate to consider hiring Jackie. Just give her a phone call and let her do her magic.** read more

Simply put, Jackie is the best! I had such a good experience with her as my placenta encapsulator. With my first baby, I didn't do placenta encapsulation and experienced a lot of anxiety and got hit HARD with the baby blues. Then with my second baby, I hired Jackie and she did my placenta encapsulation for me. I don't know if it was all in thanks to the placenta usage or what, but I didn't have anxiety or baby blues. Who knew postpartum could be so joyous?! Jackie holds a high standard of cleanliness in processing the placenta so you can rest assured that you are being well taken care of! I would definitely recommend her and will be hiring again next time! read more

I love Jackie. I used Jackie for placenta encapsulation for my 3rd baby. I knew all of the positive benefits of it and she was the lady to go to! She was so attentive, punctual, professional! I wish I had used Jackie's services for my other two kiddos! The awesome umbilical cord keepsake is seriously amazing and I seriously show everyone. I recommend her to anyone. The one thing I would change is to have known what all of her services were. I should have bitten the bullet and ordered the most expensive package because this being my last kiddo I won't get to experience what I missed out on. Maybe in my next life. read more

Had an amazing experience with Jackie. Great communication and had my placenta pills back really fast. I highly recommend.

Jackie was very prompt at responding when I decided to encapsulate and picked up the placenta and delivered the pills soon after. Very extremely happy with the service she provided and with the results of my placenta! I would definitely recommend and use her again!! Thank you Jackie! My placenta stamp, pills and keepsake cord all came out beautifully read more

Jackie was a fantastic doula both during and after the birth of our first baby. She is fun, supportive, and easy to talk to. She provided incredible support for my wife during our home birth, and also completely saved us during a rough postpartum. Without a doubt, she will be one of the first people we call if we have a second baby. We can't thank you enough Jackie!!! read more

Jackie was my doula for my son's birth and she also encapsulated my placenta. She was so helpful in calming my anxiety during my pregnancy and birth, and in supporting me afterwards. She is very knowledgeable, resourceful and she also has a great sense of humor. She is sensitive and perceptive and she works from her heart. She helped me and my partner find a birthing class that met our needs and she recommended books for us to read. She helped us locate useful items and services for baby care. She was there for us during a difficult labor and she brought my placenta pills to my home shortly afterward, which greatly helped with my recovery. She also preserved our umbilical cord, and her homemade nipple salve really eased my pain during the early days of feeding my baby. I definitely recommend Jackie for both doula and encapsulation services and will hire her again if I have another baby! read more

I met Jackie through a mutual friend, and I could NOT have been blessed with a more wonderful birth doula. She is knowledgeable, kind, and most of all, supportive. I recently had my second baby and Jackie both supported & educated not only me, but my husband and mom who were also in attendance. Jackie was always available when I needed her - both before and after delivery, by any means of communication that I preferred - phone, email or text. She is well versed in everything baby & birth related and she not only has birthing experience herself, but she really understood how to connect with me and my family when we needed her. My labor ended up going incredibly fast, and while I was living in the moment and soaking up every ounce of my brand new baby, Jackie was beyond valuable in directing my attention where it needed to be in the labor and delivery room. For example - when something started to veer away from my birth plan, she would tell me what the nurses were planning on doing, so I could kindly intervene to make sure that my birth and recovery was just how I wanted it. One thing that was very special to me was the fact that despite our cultures crooked views on postpartum care, Jackie was always sure to check on MY well-being, and made sure I was where I needed to be to care for my new baby. There is something about Jackie that makes her super easy to relate to. I'm not sure I can put words to it, but sitting down & talking with her was like hanging out with a life long friend. Jackie will be the first person to know if I ever get a positive pregnancy test again - because I want to make sure she will be right there with me next time. read more

Jackie was our birth doula and we are eternally grateful for her support, guidance, love and humor. We had our first child, a baby girl, in December and met with Jackie a couple of times before to sort out our birth plan, she was there the entire time for our labor and birth, and we met with her for a postpartum visit. From the very first phone call, we clicked. I lean towards a more natural approach, but wouldn't say I'm adamant about it, and Jackie said she was the same, explaining it perfectly: not crunchy granola, softer, more like oatmeal. She is very easy to get a hold of, which was immediately comforting, because I'm somewhat of a Type A hypochondriac. She was always patient, helpful, and so very sweet, when walking me through the many concerns that come up during pregnancy and when you have a newborn. During the labor and birth, I sort of went into the "zone" and wasn't very talkative, but Jackie knew exactly what I needed when, it was truly amazing. A couple of complications came up, and she was able to explain what was happening and what to expect, which was invaluable. Jackie was our coach, our cheerleader, and our calm keeper. My husband and I wouldn't have the birth story we dreamed of without her. She feels like a part of the family now. read more

Best decision my husband and I ever made after getting pregnant was hiring Jackie as our birth doula. It made all the difference in labor to have her beautiful spirit in room with us. She was a rock, not just for me mentally and physically but for my husband as well. Looking back now we could not have imagined the birth of our daughter any other way. I am overwhelmed with appreciation and love for this beautiful woman, we wouldn't have it any other way! Don't even hesitate hiring Jackie, l promise it will be the best decision you ever make in preparation for your darling baby! read more

I had two births at home with Doula Jackie. It was almost love at first sight if you will. She came for a home interview with us and I felt so comfortable sharing my history with her and then having her over for the follow up appointments leading up to my birth we actually became great friends. She came over on Halloween which ended up being the day I gave birth and was so patient, calm and loving throughout my labor it was exactly what I needed. I remember laboring all morning and totally forgetting that I was going to have a midwife present until Jackie mentioned, " Hey shouldn't we call your midwife?". Oh yea! Duh. But wait backup.. because we were a little unprepared.. my boyfriend at the time had to run around doing errands like washing towels and taking the dog to day care that she became my labor partner for sometime that day. She even set up my birth pool! When my midwife finally arrived late in the afternoon, she wanted to check me. My midwife then walked out of the room and I remember vividly, turning to Jackie with a bit of indecision. "Jackie! I don't want her to check me, what if I'm nowhere?!" and to that Jackie calmly replied, " You aren't nowhere, you're in labor! That's where you are!" and instantly my tense relaxed and I was able to take a deep breath knowing she was exactly right. Then again in transition when I began to lose it a bit when the pressure was strong she reminded me to feel myself sitting on the toilet, feeling her hand on my leg, and again I was able to relax and come back down to earth. The rest of my birth was a breeze, we actually laughed through the pushing and then she was able to catch the tail end of trick or treating with her Son. She took my placenta home as her treat that night and brought it back encapsulated, promptly for me the next morning. I had placenta prints and nipple butter as well as a keepsake cord that spelled, " Love". All in all, amazing. My second birth, I labored at home and she came to check on me during the day. I was having trouble letting go of the family unit of three that I had known for 2.5 years up till now. That mental block of not being yet ready to be a mom of two children was holding me back from progressing. Jackie and I talked it out and she even suggested I shower with some calm music and talk to baby and let her know I was ready to receive my second child and ready to birth her. Jackie never went far and knowing that I was lovingly supported made all the difference. Jackie left for a bit after my midwife had come and gone to see another client for a postpartum checkup while I did some more work, opening and readying myself for birth. I was able to check myself later that evening and I knew things were different and she came back on the heels of my midwife just after my water broke. Everyone set up and the pushing began and baby was born shortly after! It was fast and fun and we all sat around talking and laughing like old friends. Again Jackie encapsulated my placenta and I could not be more grateful for her! As I sit here, expecting my third child the end of this year. I no doubt will have Jackie, if she will have me, as my Doula once more. She is an angel on earth. read more

Super Doula So Amazing She Should Be Wearing A Cape Super Doula So Amazing She Should Be Wearing A Cape! Honestly this woman is a real life Super Hero. Jackie was fabulous to work with. I have a background with many traumas and previous loss so I had extenuating circumstances. She was very understanding and accommodating to our unique mix of needs and wants. She was very non judgmental. She did a fabulous job of educating and preparing us extensively beforehand. She is very knowledgeable and very experienced. We were very comfortable with her going into the whole experience. She has a really great way with people, and we felt completely at ease and safe with her. Jackie was amazing with the hospital staff. She took time to explain to them our particular needs and took great deal of effort and time to make sure our needs were understood and respected. She ran interference when necessary to make sure our special circumstances were accommodated. It was like having a family member there (sans the drama)! She is that great and that warm and that personable. After the birth she provided wonderful knowledge and support in caring for our son. We couldn't have done it without her. She puts attention love and care into her craft. We are forever grateful for her warm heart and special talents. She was our Superhero who saved the day! read more

I am so grateful to have met Jackie. She did my placenta encapsulation. She was professional and expedient. The pills came in a nice jar with instructions. This was my first baby, and I understand that people choose to consume their placenta for various reasons. My midwife recommended that I get it done, as she'd seen positive outcomes for mothers who had their placenta encapsulated. Several of my friends following their births experienced the "baby blues" or even postpartum depression. When I heard that consuming the placenta could help to avoid that, as well as increase energy, I was definitely on board. I'm happy to say that I felt great following my delivery. Despite getting literally no sleep for over a week, my energy levels were great, and I never experienced any baby blues or depression. My baby is 11 weeks now, and we're both doing very well! Should we choose to have a second baby, you can be sure I'll be calling on Jackie again to prepare my "placenta pills". read more
