I've been getting my hair cut by Basil for a few months now. I was introduced to him at the old Barbershop he formally work at and was fortunate enough to stay in contact to hear about his new shop in North Haven. If I am being completely honest, I have never been as happy with my hair as I am with it today. I have been a client for a few yrs, thru 3 differ locations. I showed up for my 8/29 appt for keratin straightening. Waited in the lobby for 1/2 hr, texting Basil that I was out there. No response, so I left. I've texted him since asking what happened, wanting to see about resched, but he has never responded. Yes, I'm texting the same # I've always used (on his site too). I wasn't really looking for a new barber, but I saw a friend of mine get an awesome haircut from basil and I decided to give him a shot. I visited him at his new spot in north haven and was extremely impressed. Although I was a little nervous to have a new barber cut my hair, I soon felt very much at ease. Great find. I was looking for someone to cut my daughter's hair. Searched for someone near her college and what a gem. Love the place. Love the atmosphere. And most of all - love Basil.
