Probably because the facility is under staffed daily which leads to having to scramble and accommodate all the kids, constant shifting around. There was never anyone at the front desk at drop off or pick up. I showed up for pick up one day and the door was wide open. Her AM teacher was telling me about a conversation she had with her boss about how my child was gonna have a rough first two weeks adjusting and she said to me "damn" all disappointed, like that was gonna be a bummer for her. The communication is very poor overall or non existent at pick up, unless it's on the app(which not everything is specifically documented)- like that my child didn't eat lunch or why the outfit was changed - came to find out she had the runs and a fever the next day after only being there 3 days. They chose not to tell me, had me questioning if they even gave the lunch I brought... or when I asked the pm director I noticed her outfit was changed did something happen and all I got was a "Yep" for whatever reason. Everything looks perfect on paper though for documentation purposes on their end. My first experience with a daycare was extensively negative and I choose to not lay it all here. It wasn't a good fit for us, not accommodating to our needs nor was my child comfortable here. I would not recommend for a transitioning child's first time into daycare. Don't get sold on the pitch like I did, nothing was what I was told. I feel bad for the few very sweet teachers who care, actually show up everyday and have to deal with the chaos. Kudos to them. *Edit, Update: 10/3 Just got a tip from someone who worked there that says they have a registered sex offender working there that has there children there and a teacher. It is a preschool that encompasses Reggio style learning. All of the children will come in running with a smile on their face, that's how you know they feel safe, cared for, welcomed, and ready to learn. Owners are very supportive and caring and the pay was great. I was very sad to leave HHH but I did leave on a positive note! They are clearly struggling for money and enrollment (even going so far as to offer a discount to current parents who can get them referrals) which brings me to my second complaint: The state of Arizona does not require preschools to have a specific start time. After years of paying our bills on time and being loyal to them while they lost every piece of tupperware we owned, countless items of clothing & other belongings, they suddenly started demanding we show up at a specific time in the morning because the 3 year olds were going to be following a,"curriculum". They did this *after* I had already paid our bill for the month. Again this is not encouraged by the state of Arizona. In fact, the opposite is the standard- its called free play. And "rigid schedules" are specifically discouraged. I have a very serious and painful disability called EDS which makes early morning drop offs impossible & I am single mom who doesn't have family or friends here yet (so no help). They knew my situation and were initially accepting, but then later still saw fit to write me a novel instead of talking to me face to face, about how my late morning drop offs were no longer going to be tolerated. When I told them we would no longer be attending they refused refund me the remainder of my money even though he only attended one day at the start of the month. So now I'm stuck with out money/childcare for the rest of the month and in excruciating pain. Truly evil.

I was a CFO of the pizza business, "Ellie's Pizza Party", in which we sold pizza to the Switzer campus to raise money for our annual San Juan River Trip, which taught me how to manage a business. We went on community connections to help our community, going-outs for fun, and immersions, to bond. And finally, we went on the end-of-year River Trip, where we bonded for four days and three nights on the river. When I informed her about our daughter's multiple food allergies she offered to send the menu for the week so that I could cross off the foods containing her allergens. Joanna even called us the evening prior to let us know RSV had been present in our daughter's classroom so we could decide what we are comfortable with. Ms Ryan and Ms Jamie, the infant teachers, were wonderful. They took such good care of our daughter even when she was teething. The app (SproutAbout) is so nice because it allows you to watch a live video feed of your child's classroom while they are checked into class.
