Joanna even called us the evening prior to let us know RSV had been present in our daughter's classroom so we could decide what we are comfortable with. Ms Ryan and Ms Jamie, the infant teachers, were wonderful. They took such good care of our daughter even when she was teething. The app (SproutAbout) is so nice because it allows you to watch a live video feed of your child's classroom while they are checked into class. Her AM teacher was telling me about a conversation she had with her boss about how my child was gonna have a rough first two weeks adjusting and she said to me "damn" all disappointed, like that was gonna be a bummer for her. The communication is very poor overall or non existent at pick up, unless it's on the app(which not everything is specifically documented)- like that my child didn't eat lunch or why the outfit was changed - came to find out she had the runs and a fever the next day after only being there 3 days. They chose not to tell me, had me questioning if they even gave the lunch I brought... or when I asked the pm director I noticed her outfit was changed did something happen and all I got was a "Yep" for whatever reason. Everything looks perfect on paper though for documentation purposes on their end. My first experience with a daycare was extensively negative and I choose to not lay it all here. It wasn't a good fit for us, not accommodating to our needs nor was my child comfortable here. I would not recommend for a transitioning child's first time into daycare. Don't get sold on the pitch like I did, nothing was what I was told. I feel bad for the few very sweet teachers who care, actually show up everyday and have to deal with the chaos. All of the children will come in running with a smile on their face, that's how you know they feel safe, cared for, welcomed, and ready to learn. Owners are very supportive and caring and the pay was great. I was very sad to leave HHH but I did leave on a positive note! I would definitely come back to HHH if I ever find myself back in flagstaff.

Brand new when I joined, full of high quality equipment, the gym has everything you need for free weight and machine lifting, stretching and independent cardio. If you are looking for morning (before work) group workouts, this is not the place, but if you have your own workouts and a set of headphones you can use the spin bikes, fancy treadmills, elliptical and stationary cycles. The gym opens early- and the staff are friendly. They recognize all of the morning patrons after just a week or so of attendance. I never used personal training, daytime or evening classes. I also have never had an opportunity to use the climbing wall due to limited hours. All of these are offered as part of the monthly fee, and there are pay for classes and leagues just like other YMCAs. I recommend the Flagstaff YMCA. It's lost some polish over the years, but the Y remains an old standby for my strength and cardio. I think you would like it too.

They have been so sweet to us and our kiddos, as they grow. One of our babies is kind of... a curious destroyer. Elsa has just rolled with the punches, even as our kiddo tried to tear up the floor. She updates us every day on the new happenings (like a few days ago, how one of them pulled up to standing!) and is always coming up with new things for them to do and be interested in. And mainly I just feel really solid that they are in a loving, nurturing place that is helping them grow into sweet small humans. I can not honestly recommend this daycare to anyone. It has gone downhill. It makes me sad because my son used to love going everyday. When new owners take over and all of a sudden you have to start dragging your kid in the door kicking and screaming you know something is wrong. If you try to talk to them about issues they immediately go on the defense and tell you that you are the problem, instead of trying to work it out or get to the bottom of what is really going on. It's easier to sweep their issues under the rug and blame the parents than it is to retrain their staff.

She didn't have time to use the bathroom, purposely didn't hydrate herself for fear she'd have to ask for a bathroom break (which was received with anger and judgment from her managers), and wasn't able to maintain a calm, positive attitude for her young students because of the intense, demanding working conditions. I am horrified that this institution is allowed to exist, especially when such precious, young lives (as well as the well-being of the teachers) are threatened. MY STRONG FEELING IS: DON'T SEND YOUR CHILD HERE! The staff isn't treated well, and, with this, they will not be able to take good care of your preschooler.
