The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. Although not on the menu, we asked if we could sample all the beers they make which was no issue at all and all surprisingly cheap. They had a variety of beers from light mango beer, through to chocolate beer and even a 'black' beer. Pontcanna is a nice place to live but it i pricey and it does not have a monopoly on nice little family run cafes and restaurants. One of my best friends live near by and I have been in pretty much every bar and restaurant in this area and they are ok. I went to Cibo found the food ok but the attitude of the service staff was just about acceptable sometimes bordering on rude. I don't mean deliberately rude but it was as if I was only there by luck and my purpose was to give them money. If you go there I'm sure you will have food that is passable - if you think its exceptional then you need to eat out more.
