Okay, I know this is a microbrewery, but it really feels as though they could have fitted a full size brewery in there. The warehouse feel in this place if cavernous and kind of trendy. I've only ever been in here during the day so am not really bothered if the space feels too empty, although I can imagine how it might be a problem come night time. Come on guys, the only way to fill it up to head on down there! The fruit beers are exciting, but always a little bit disappointing; I think I need to learn that the raspberry and almond beer is unlikely to actually taste of raspberries and almonds. Because it's beer. Boo. Again, I've only ever been here during the day, but they do seem to have a great number of staff when compared to the amount of customers. They all stand around and discuss things that sound important, and the first time I went here I wasn't entirely sure if they were even open. Good though, a little airy pocket of calm.

Pulled Pork Pizza After

Ordered the pulled pork pizza and cannot understand why this dish had to be so spicy!!!! I do eat spicy food sometimes, but this is that uncomfortable can't taste anything but burn spicy. People were crying and needing milk. I decided not to eat much of mine, preferring not to ruin my evening. Just can't understand why this pizza had to be so spicy?. The BBQ chicken pizza wasn't. I literally chucked it into a friend's bowl so i could share another friend's risotto.

A very nice brewery in central Cardiff. The beers were good. They have a huge space with plenty of tables. It's worth a stop.

As mentioned somewhere before, I am a big fan of Pizza Express. Especially on wednesdays. The 2 for…read more1 voucher makes a place that feels upmarket, the cheapest place to go for food. The fresh ingredients here always pleases my taste-buds and have always been served by greatly helpful staff. It's the little touches such as getting your coat taking before sitting down or the marble tables that really elevate this pizza place. The presentation all round from food to the toilets seems well thought out and gives the chain a personal feel to each restaurant. The only slight shame is it's location really. Unlike the beautiful Cardiff Bay branch, this over looks the mall. I couldn't help but feel it was a bit like tea time at the monkey pen when McLovely and I were seated near the front.

This was the first time I had ever been to a Pizza Express and I had heard nothing but good things so naturally I booked a table for my birthday and went there with some family. I was impressed with the look and atmosphere of the restaurant and the friendly service from our waiter. I was always curious about trying this restaurant out and thought it would be great to book it for a birthday celebration, Thankfully the restaurant took the booking no problem. With some other Pizza Express restaurants they only allow a certain number when booking but this one didn't have a problem with that. Luckily I had 2 vouchers that were buy one get one for £1 so the night ended up cheaper than expected. Our waiter was such a nice guy that he over heard it was my birthday and put a candle in my cheesecake that I had for dessert. To top it all off the entire restaurant sang happy birthday to me. That was quite a surreal experience. The Pizza Express is in St Davids 2 is an excellent restaurant filled with delightful waiters/waitresses and delivers an amazing quality of food. I will definitely be visiting there once again!

Apart from the primary colour palette of the décor the pizzeria is a blast having all the possible combinations you could want if it wasn't for the Dominoes sizzler I would be more of a patron to this little shop of Italian pizza men (not quite). But sometimes it can remind you of super Mario Bro's in a good way. The pizzas rain from this place with delivery nearly as good as in the samurai pizza cats cartoon. The pizza is top nosh for drunk, student or respectable citizen alike. A medium pizza with a can of drink compares well to the Crwys road Pizza Time or any of the crwys road choices. They do the ever funny offer of BOGO buy one get one.

Yup, there's no missing this little fast food outlet on City Road, no matter how obscure the location! For some reason City Pizza seems to have been separated from the herd, and stands alone to fend for itself at the mouth of City Road where it meets Newport Road. The rest of the take aways have clearly stampeded their way a little further up the street, carried away on tide of momentum, to scratch away at the over-grazed hinterland, leaving City Pizza to feast on the banquette offered up by occupying premium turf. But it's not just the location that has secured the success of this place. A lot of what has inured its regulars is the fact that it makes mighty fine pizzas and consistently shows its gratitude to its customers by proffering some great special deals. At the moment you can buy any medium pizza with side order and soft drink for £4.00, which is pretty unbeatable! What makes me smile is that they have bothered to write out in full the two other deals that you can take advantage of at the moment... two medium pizzas, with two side orders and two cans of pop is £8.00... oh, darn it, they've got me at now as well! So, in order to avoid repeating myself again, please let me tell you that there's no surprises where the third offer is concerned... the only difference is that everything comes in three's, and, yes you guessed it, the price is £12.00!

Tony's pizza has been going since I was a tiny little thing and is still going strong to this day…read more In my opinion one of the best pizza places for miles. Not least because they deliver proper, rustic, tasty food. None of that horrible processed cheese and rubbish meat. I'm talking, fresh asparagus, anchovies, spinach, real Italian flavors. Alright so they only deliver to Penarth, Dinas Powys and Llandough but I like that level of exclusivity plus you can always head down there and pick one up in person. Nestled on the pier, Tony's is a slice (sorry) of Penarth history.

Sigh. Yeah, so it's kinda like that, minus the heat and blistering sun. Anyway, I love that I can buy pizza by the slice near a beachfront in Wales. Offering a variety of toppings (even a "healthy" version, but I'm afraid you'll have to opt for a full pizza in order to sample that), Tony's pizza is the perfect precursor to an ice cream cone dessert and a stroll on the Atlantic-Beach-like boardwalk. It's only open in the evenings on the weekdays (and from noon on Saturday and Sunday), but I crave pizza after a few pints, so it makes for a quick and convenient eat just before you head home (or out to a few neighbouring bars) They offer burgers and such, but I've yet to try it - it seems the pizza is the main draw here! But if you're feeling lazy, they offer a delivery service during its opening hours, but only to Penarth, Sully, Dinas Powys and Llandough areas.
