Unfortunately company policies have changed and they are no longer able to offer a clean car experience for all vehicles and customers. If you have any sort of racking on the top of your car, this might not be the car wash for you. They will no longer keep the top brushes active for vehicles with racks which leads to the windshield and top of the car not getting cleaned. Canceled my monthly membership. It's a shame because the service used to be quality. read more

Disappointing! Payment service was not working correctly. It took the attendant a few minutes to get outside to help. The quality of car mat washers were poor. The washers didn't have any water working so they didn't clean the mats at all. There were very few cleaning cloths. The vacuum nozzle was broken. I am extremely disappointed with my experience here. I paid $20 for a wash, and my car came out looking like it hadn't even been touched. It was so dirty that I could literally write my name in the grime with my finger after the cycle was finished. When I drove around to show the attendant the results and asked if he could send it through again, he completely blew me off. He told me they "don't do that" and that if I wanted another wash, I'd have to sign up for a monthly membership. It's ridiculous to suggest a subscription when they can't even get a single wash right. The attendant (the one with the noticeable dental issues) seemed like he couldn't care less that I was unsatisfied with the service I just paid for. To make matters worse, the facility is poorly maintained: * I had to move my car twice because the first two vacuum bays I tried didn't even work. * There were zero clean towels available in the vacuum area. I essentially paid $20 to do the work myself with broken equipment. I truly do not recommend this car wash to anyone. I've had a membership with these guys in Midvale location for several years. I dont know why I have stayed as long as I have, probably convenience. Here are the issues, and I am not making this stuff up. 1. about 25-30% of the time one or more pieces of equipment is either not working or working poorly. This is both inside the wash and at the dry off section. 2. They have a one basket each for clean and dirty towels. Many times the clean towel basket is empty. 3. The Air hoses most of the time have a very low air supply, making them mostly useless. 4. The only thing that does not suck about this location are the vacuums. At times hoses are cracked or broken. Finally, and this was the last straw for me. I had to put my personal vehicle in the shop and rented another for a couple of days. I took it to the car wash and asked for and initially was given a one time pass to run my rental through. However before I was let thru, another employee came out and said it was against company policy and would not budge. A very insensitive employee to boot. Most of the employees there, the ones that actually do the grunt work are friendly. read more

I have ONE vehicle with a membership. I discovered I had been paying twice (an extra $40 per month for 16 payments, as i never check my bank statements). I talked to local managmenet, and they told me they could only refund me $120.00. The rest has to come from the parent/owner. They put in a 'ticket' identifying the problem. The company blames ME for the problem and refuses to repay the remaining $540.00 they STOLE from me. the reason is they say I TOOK TOO LONG . The car wash itself was fine, it cleaned my car pretty well as long as I didn't have bugs. I guess that could be my fault since I only had the most basic subscription. I have however been trying to cancel my subscription for almost 6 months now due to needing to save money and can't be helped in person, finally had someone answer their customer service phone after 6 months and still haven't been able to cancel. I have emailed, tried the app, website, everything and will now be resorting to canceling my cards because talk about being scammed out of my money. I have no interest getting a membership and if I say NO the first time, please tell your employees to stop it there. Don't ask twice to third time or ask how often my car is dirty or needs wash. Don't waste your money here. This car wash could care less about the value of their customers and it's super upsetting. My car was damaged and lost its Mercedes Emblem due to their Machines not exiting vehicles when they should be. My car got stuck at the end behind a big truck causing both cars to keep skipping and jumping causing my front bumper to hit the back of the truck. When I noticed my emblem was cracked I let employees know and they "checked" the cameras only to tell me their cameras were blacked out and they needed to call service and get them working again and I could return another day. Toke the manager a whole 30 minutes to even come say hi and then offered no help until I let them know I called the police to file a claim then they offered to submit a damage claim to corporate for corporate to only say it's my fault and I need to pay for it not them. And to stop responding to my messages. So disappointed when I have been a loyal customer and have memberships not only to one car but 2, they lost my money plus all those around me. Something that cost $120 to replace yet they lost a customer who's invested over hundreds of dollars for pennies, don't go here their car wash scratches your car and if something happens they act like it's not their fault. STOP!! If you want your car damaged and an okay wash then this is your place. Else find a better place! Thankfully noticed the damage to my NEW car right after the wash, while vacuuming. Instantly let employees know. They treated me nice and acted like they were going to go look at the cameras, and be able to see something. During this time they continued to allow cars to go through the wash, I would expect them to inspect there equipment if it's damaging cars. Pretty sure someone else also got damage to there car but they just left with frustration after trying and waiting to speak to someone. They came back and told me they couldn't see anything on the cameras as the picture was blurry.. strange it took this long for them to find out there camera quality was garbage. For more context, it was day time and there didn't seem to be sun glare around the camera area that are aimed around your car as your driving through. They told me they'd have someone from corporate contact me. They grabbed all my info and then tried getting my insurance info.. yeah right. This happened Saturday, it's now Tuesday and I've heard nothing, no call or email. read more

I was told they have their "best carwash for $14.00 today" and I accepted. They upsold me while knowing and without telling me that their dropdown scrubber was broken. The picture attached is after my SECOND drive through. SECOND! The "person on duty" said they were unaware of the broken dropdown until I had told them. They gave me a ticket for a free wash. Complete bullsh*t considering there was a ladder where the broken dropdown was. Plenty of similar no-touch carwash services nearby.... My suggestion is to pick one of those. I was dreading the day I would have to pay for 8 vacuum sessions after spilling enough potting soil in my car to plant a medium-sized fig tree. After admiring the long line of what must be 6,384 vacuums at the Rocket whip wash I decided I'd ask the nice attendant with the bow tie what the damage might be to start digging myself out of the dirt spill I've been driving around in. Oh my life - I am hooked. FREE vacuums and mat washes for as long as you need with any wash! REC has found the key to my heart. I could kill a whole afternoon here. They have the nicest staff, they are SO kind (I'm talking about people standing outside a misty car wash in the winter), phenomenal service. The vacuums are really strong, they reach far enough, and you get a hose for each side of your car. The steam mat wash is quick and easy to use, and there are trash cans by every vacuum just in case you've got a stray Starbucks napkin or spent air freshener to dump off. What a beautiful way to spend an afternoon. Treat yourself and stop in here, you will feel like a brand new person when you leave. Update: I have found one thing about REC that I am not in love with. They are not open on Sunday. While I am glad their employees have this day off, it doesn't quite soothe the sting of driving my filthy car through the Sunday brunch crowds only to be turned away by mocking, lifeless cones blocking entry to one of my happiest places. I came in this morning there was trash everywhere, vomit in one of the parking stalls. 4 vacuums had zero suction, and the air compressor at my station was spraying mist, not air. Not sure if they are short staffed or if they just hand't gotten to the morning cleanup, but it's definitely not worth the cost. I notified one of the workers there about all of this. read more

Customers beware-my brand new truck sustained damage today at Rocket Express. The automated brushes tore off the front quarter panel of my truck. The damage to the truck was not the worst part of the experience. My interaction with the "assistant manager" was far worse. The customer service level was appalling to the point that the "assistant manager" became verbally abusive and accusatory. The actual Manager Joe, did his best to rectify the harm done By the "assistant manager" however I have canceled my membership and warn against this business if you care about your vehicle. read more

My mechanic recommended this place to me and I'm so grateful to have finally found a good car wash. They have free microfiber cloths for you to use and the vacuums are the strongest I've ever come across. My car is the cleanest I've seen it since I bought it. This location is the best around. So many places closer to me, but they dont even compare to this Midvale location. I'm a busy mom of 4, and keeping my Van clean is definitely a sticky situation. I rolled up today with the kiddos, we love to pretend we are in an underwater party with all the lights, but today was different. I really needed to wash my mats. Im lucky enough to have the weather Tech, to keep my carpets from being destroyed, but they are big and not easy to get out, so I asked one of the Frontline workers, who are always so friendly and kind to us if they have any other options beside the mat roller. These are too big for that, so not an option. He said he'd be happy to help me out and take them in and pressure wash them. I was shocked, I didn't didn't think it would happen. But sure enough I went through, pulled around where he said and grabbed the massive mats out. He took them while I vacuumed the rest and came back. They looked incredible and to have micro fiber towels to dry them off was a serious bonus. I tried to give him a tip and he wouldn't accept it, just said he was happy to help. Look, you don't get people like this very often anymore. Nick is top notch and truly represent what is missing at other locations, professional, kindness, goes the extra mile and does what he says he will do. I'll never cancel my membership at this location because it is worth it even if I go once a month . My Van looks awesome and now Nick has made carpooling less embarrassing ! I've been through a couple of times, and can probably say this is one of the nicer car washers around. At least, it's a different kind of experience. There are, in my estimate, about 4 kinds of car washes in this world. 1) Self-wash 2) Gas station car wash 3) Fine detailing 4) Ride through Technically, a ride-through and a gas station might be the same kind of thing, but we're talking about a car wash where you stay in the car, but you go for a ride, and lots of magical things happen. That's what Rocket is. Drive up, pay your money (is there always an attendant there?) and enter the corridor. There are many levels of washing, foaming, rinsing, drying, and poof. Daylight. You're done. They do a nice job, and the big bonus is that vacuums are part of the deal there. Just pull around and vacuum to your heart's content. It hovers around $10, just below, as I recall. Or you can buy an unlimited monthly pass and go three times a day if you prefer. read more

Let's start with the pros: - it's right off the highway so it's easy to find and convenient. - it cleans your car very well, and if it doesn't you can go for another round for free - free vacuuming - friendly/attentive staff - monthly package (you can share this with your roommate/friend/family) The cons: - it is a bit rough - my side mirrors always need adjustments after the wash. - the lines get so long on some days. - constantly have tiny spots it misses...but I'm ocd like that so i tend to kind of wipe down my car. You guys have the worst customer service. I had a problem with my subscription and tried the website and sends you to the location, go the location and nobody knows what to do, call their phones and nobody answers or calls back when leave a message. The car washes are good, but terrible customer service, don't know how to take care of customers or address issues. ------ What you are saying is not true. I never canceled the subscription, never talked to anybody at the car wash on November 9th, or over the phone. I'd tried to go into your website BEFORE and CHANGE my card, to pay with a different card but it said that it needs to be done at the location, so the website is not useful at all! And after trying to change it online, I never tried to changed it in the branch. The website never explained that it was canceled, or anything, that's why I kept going. When I came on Dec 2nd, and I was having issues I explained the rep. That I tried to changed the card online and it didn't work. And then he asked for the card I had before, but I said I don't remember which one I was using, can you tell me which one and I will confirm. Which he kept saying no. At this point I noticed a bunch of car parked behind me trying to get in and they couldn't because of all these issues. And because it was taking forever I was causing problems to other customers, I left frustrated with your system. I called immediately to your number and as always no one responded. I left a message and nobody has called me since. I did the same by calling your Idaho offices, I assumed is your Corp offices, and no response and no call back. It is interesting you chose to respond here but no call back whatsoever to try and understand the problem I was having or anything. You have my phone and my email. read more

Couldn't say enough good things about this car wash. Easy in, easy out. Car washed and cleaned to approval. All of the workers were so helpful and kind. The vacuums worked really well. There was a little bit of a wait for the vacuums but that's what I get for going on a Saturday morning, so no big deal really. My favorite part was the floor mat cleaner. Just feed your floor mats through the steamer and they come out sufficiently clean. Although I would recommend vacuuming the mats first and assuming you choose the water steaming, expect to have wet mats to take home. Overall, a great place to go to wash your car! read more
