"Denied Service Over Email Address - Seriously?" I went to Quick Quack Car Wash at noon with the simple intention of getting a basic car wash. There was no one in line, so I expected a quick, straightforward visit. Instead, I was met with a frustrating and unnecessarily complicated experience. The attendant, Mike, approached my car and immediately commented on my out-of-state plates. From there, he proceeded to push the most expensive car wash option--likely assuming that because I drive a luxury vehicle, I must want the top-tier package. That wasn't the case. I just wanted something simple. Mike attempted to input my information on his tablet, which he claimed wasn't working due to a battery issue. He retrieved a second tablet, which also didn't work. Trying to be helpful, I offered to pay in cash. Instead of accepting it, he insisted on collecting my email address. I declined, as I don't want to receive marketing emails, and quite frankly, I found the request inappropriate for a basic, one-time car wash. To my disbelief, Mike refused to give me a car wash unless I provided my email. That didn't sit right with me at all. Whether or not that's legal, it certainly doesn't feel ethical. When I asked to leave, Mike couldn't even open the gate--again blaming the tablet. It took a younger employee to show him how to manually open it. A few takeaways, Mike: 1. I was driving a luxury vehicle because I'm purchasing a luxury home in the area--not because I want to be upsold. 2. I remained patient throughout your multiple tech issues and offered a solution (cash). 3. Forcing personal data collection just to get a car wash is unacceptable. Due to the unprofessional handling of this situation and the refusal to provide service without surrendering my email, I won't be returning. You've earned this one star. It's a decent place. The employees are very friendly and they create a good atmosphere. The issue with this place is that only 70% of the vacuum's work when you go here. I have a monthly pass so I quite a bit and it's always a problem. I'll keep going but hope they will do something with their vacuum situation. read more

Monday 7/15/2024 6:30 evening I paid for a ceramic duck wash (it was an extra 20% off) on my way home from work at Alta View (Midvale 1300 E location). The wash is 2 miles from my home. I drove through the wash and drove straight home. I did not work at Altaview on Tuesday but took my son to the swimming pool in the afternoon. When we went to the car to take him I noticed that my car, which had not been driven since the car wash Monday evening, was still covered in splatted bugs. The whole reason I had paid $20 at the car wash was to clean off the bugs. Today, Wednesday, 7/17/2024 on my way home from work, less than 48 hours later I stopped by the wash, to ask for the Clean Car Guarantee. They are not open when I drive to work. They would not rewash my car. I asked the attendant if it was usual for a car to go through the most expensive wash and come out still dirty and bug-covered. He said I could buy another wash and he'd let me drive through it twice as the iPad only showed the date of my wash and not the exact time of the wash. I said I didn't want to spend another $20 on a wash and he tried to upsell me to a membership. He said I could buy the least expensive wash when I declined the membership. Why should I have to pay again? Why pay again for another wash to take off the ceramic coating I paid extra for? Needless to say, I am not satisfied. My car is not clean, the clean car guarantee was a lie. It was a pain to go back to your location on my way home again (I have to U-turn on 1300 East). I should not have to double-check the work I paid to be done ( a ceramic duck clean car guarantee). This was my first time at Quick Quack Car Wash. I work at Alta View Hospital and live above the Target/Home Depot. It is conveniently located for me. I do not plan to return to your car wash again. I would suggest that you increase your quality control and that you begin to honor your clean car guarantee. Next time I'll go to Fabulous Freddy's off of Quarry Bend as my co-workers have suggested them as reliable. You are earning a bad reputation with the hospital/physician office employees. read more

Wish I could leave zero stars. Took my new truck to Quick Quack and came out with numerous scratches on the hood. Informed Quick Quack of this. Was told that it was the dealerships fault as they put a wax on to hide scratches. The car had been washed by hand numerous times after vehicle purchase and no scratches existed until taking it to Quick Scratch. They were unwilling to accept responsibility. read more

This place could be a lot better. Granted, they did convert an old car wash to a Quick Quack. They did a lot of improvements but they failed on how to control the line of customers. The other Quick Quacks have two lines that are monitored instead of two lanes feed into one and then you have agent check you in. Customers should be checked in at the two lanes before the converge. This would be if it those that have a membership fees into the car wash while those that are signing up for the first time can take the 5-10 minutes it takes in a separate lane and not piss off those that are stuck waiting. Otherwise, what is the point of having two lanes? I dislike this carwash but it's close to the house. read more

Nice friendly staff. Been there a few times now & always try to come between 9 and 11 o'clock in the morning to avoid the long line. Their prices are reasonable. However I have noticed twice so far that the car doesn't get 100% clean after the wash...bits and pieces gets left behind. read more

Quick Quack is my favorite place in the area to get my car washed--it's fast, offers free vacuums, and has friendly employees. Guests can choose from three different car wash options: Good, Better, and Best, with each upgrade offering a more thorough cleaning procedure. The company offers a monthly pass in each of the three types of washes; if my math is correct, you just need to wash your car twice to get your money's worth for the pass. It's times like yesterday where I am glad things like Yelp exist. Last night around 7:30pm, I was driving home when I blew a tire in the middle of an intersection. I managed another 1/4 mile and pulled into the Quick Quack parking lot. It was raining and I got out of my car to see my back passenger tire completely flat. With a post-gym appearance, the rain coming down, and being the only vehicle on a tilt in the parking lot, it was about as "Monday" as you could get... I walked over to one of the employees, pretty upset, and asked if it was alright if I could park there for an hour or so while I called my boyfriend and AAA. He said absolutely and not two minutes after I walked back to my car there were 4-5 employees coming over asking if I needed any help. They calmed me down and offered to get my spare out and on so I wouldn't have to wait for AAA. They all worked on my car for 10-15 minutes in the rain and even when the spare-storage mechanism was stuck, they offered me a spot to sit inside. I didn't catch their names but I hope this someone makes it back to them and they know what a difference they made. Quick Quack is now going to be my ONLY car wash stop and it's because of them. If they were willing to console me and go above and beyond to help me in any way they could in the rain I can only imagine what they would do on a daily basis. I go to this quick quack at least a few times a week! I pay for the "best" membership that is $29.99 so I like to utilize it as much as I can since it is an unlimited membership! There was only one time in which I had a frustration and it was because there was mud on my jeep and they didn't want to wash it :( Other than that, I have always had amazing experiences here. The staff is always nice and it always goes by quick ( so it really lives up to the name lol ). I like when sometimes I go in, they give me a free quick quack wipe! I always get the "best" wash and I love the rainbow colors! Sometimes it doesn't wash it completely though! For me, the new Quick Quack replaced my go-to car wash, the AutoSpa Express, which is just down the street from my house. I thought the AutoSpa did great work, as does Quick Quack. It's shinier, GREEN, and the employees have a definite spring in their step. It took less time to get through the line and wash, which is an added plus. And the car shined! The vacuums work well, and the cleaning area is more spacious than before. And, most importantly, the gold coins are no more...just vacuum and go. On 01/12/2023 my new A3 Audi went through this car wash. The car wash shattered the tempered glass between my windshield and the roof of the car. I reported the damage and filed a customer incident report to the location and was told the owner was out of town for the weekend. I have called customer service three times over the past days to have the location contact me about this damage. It has now been 11 days without hearing from the owner of this location. The damage does not allow me to drive the car when it rains or snows. Please do not use this location to have your car washed. Love the wash, but really disappointing that the last two times I've tried to come wash my truck the car wash is closed about 20 minutes+ prior to the advertised closing time? I just left this car wash and I would NOT recommend it. I have a 2021 Jeep Weangler Rubicon and as I was going through something kept grabbing my car and then I would pop forward. Turns out, the brushes were catching on my door hinges and now all four door hinges have chips all the way down to the metal. I came to this car wash after seeing such positive reviews about it. Well that wasn't my experience. After getting out to use the free vacuums that come with the wash, I noticed my back license plate was dented and lifted up. After tracking down an attendant, she came over and inspected my plates and somewhat tried to fix the actual license plate. It's that time of the year where I need my monthly membership. So last year I drove by this car wash and wanted to give it a chance. Today was the day. I paid for the basic, which was $8 bucks. The next one up was $14 bucks. I felt that was a little extreme. The car wash experience was great. It was long tunnel. What I absolutely loved was the vacuum with the air blower. It the high quality of service. They keep their areas cleaned, employees are always outside with a smile. I personally didn't like the time limit. I felt that was a little unnecessary. The monthly prices did seem very reasonable. The single prices are not. I think with a little more effort and discipline with their employees. Quick quack can beat mister car wash. Superior wash, wax, and tire treatment with smiling staff pre-treating the front and rear of your car prior to entering the wash tunnel. The wash also includes the undercarriage, which is mandatory living in the Land of Salt. I was very skeptical about their brushes touching my car, however after four years of washes there isn't any signs of scratches or abrasions. The vacuums suck. I wish I could give this place -100 stars. During the middle of the car wash, somehow the tire slipped off the tire mover causing my car to stop mid car wash (i did not move the shifter nor press my brake because i keep my feet up due to being scared of pressing it). Because my car stopped in the wash, the car behind me hit me, and the car behind them hit the person behind me. As soon as the car wash workers realized my car was stopped they stopped the wash, but damage was already done. Immediately coming up to my window they asked what "I" did to cause this. Regardless of who's fault it was, as a customer I didn't feel it was right to immediately put the blame onto me. After going through the rest of the wash and talking to them, they continued to blame it on me, when though the cameras say otherwise. I'm not even upset about the damage because luckily it was minimal, i am upset with how i was treated after the fact. Having the employees place blame right away sucks, but he even continued to yell and argue with me. I have never been treated so poorly, AWFUL experience to say the least. read more
