This was my 1st experience with Rocket Carwash - I had heard an advert on the local FM station. After regularly using another vendor and being less than satisfied, I popped in and got the economy wash. Good customer service on the front end and all proceeded according to plan. The car wash itself was longer and more thorough than others I had had and when I exited, parked to inspect, good job ! This is the 1st wash where even my wheels were clean and all the bug splats were washed away. All in all .. the best wash I have had in Boise for the $$, a return customer. read more

I would not recommend Rocket Car Wash. My husband went through with his truck and the employee attempted to sell him a monthly membership. He declined and instead purchased a single car wash. The wash was not thorough, and there was still debris left on the vehicle. He immediately drove back to go through the wash again, which many car washes allow when the first wash doesn't fully clean the vehicle. However, he was stopped and told he could not go through again because he did not have a monthly membership. This was very disappointing. We paid for a service that was not fully delivered, and instead of correcting the issue, they refused to rewash the vehicle unless he purchased a membership. That is not acceptable customer service. My husband and I took his car in for a wash this evening only to leave completely disappointed. Apparently a Rising Star wash isn't enough to get a clean car. When we saw how dirty everything was after going through the wash, my husband pulled up and asked the employee if we could pull through one more time to correct the issue. The answer was no. Why call yourself a car wash if the goal isn't to wash the cars coming through? Minimal effort was required to right this wrong and provide an iota of customer service. read more

I went to the doctor today and parked under a tree, when I came out there was a lot of bird poop all over the car. Did not want to ruin the paint so found the nearest car wash. Which happened to be Rocket Express Car Wash on Fairview and Cloverdale. They were nice enough to take my money, they were not very busy. Went through the car wash at the end there was still bird poop on the car. I drove back around and politely pointed out that the car wash didn't clean that well. The attendant proceeded to say that they do not rewash cars unless you are a member or buy the top tier car wash. I said that was not acceptabl, I expected a better job for $10. Then she rudely said you can pay again or leave. I will never go back to another Rocket Express Car Wash again. That definitely was a waste of money and time. read more

Have used this wash for years. Today it ripped the valve stem off my tire going flat in wash. Drove around front for assistance and tire cracked from driving on it. Sarah the manager offered zero assistance to help me get tires fixed. Only offered to file a claim. Then tried to blame my valve stem cap for causing the damage when I've been taking the car there 2 years without issue. Upon further inspection found the inside of both rims on the driver side damaged and ground off from the rails of the car wash over the past two years. Sarah filed a claim and the email said it takes 5 days to review and that they'll get back to me. So after waiting for roadside assistance to help put my spare on here I sit at tire shop buying new tires and tpms sensor for the tune of 900 dollars and I still ha e to get estimate from Ford on the rims. This car wash has been lacking a quality wash for a long time. The worst part was when I brought the damage to Sarah's attention she didn't even stop the wash and inspect it to ensure others wouldn't get damaged. I showed her the damage to the rim and still did not stop wash to inspect it.just get letting other cars proceed without any care. I'd give their establishment 0 stars if I could. I get shit happens but to not offer any assistance to get me on my way is ridiculous. 0 care 0 empathy. Only a I can file a claim for you response. Do better. read more

We had used this car wash once before last year. Today we stopped in to get a car wash and chose the $17 wash. The guy standing at the gate wouldn't take the payment in cash! He requested we use a card to pay. He said they have no where to store cash!?! How about inside the machine that is in front of the gates? There was never a need for a person to stand there and push the selection buttons for you anyway. Since when is cash not accepted and not legal tender everywhere!!!!! Have called during their business hours at least 2 times a week for a month trying to get it cancelled and hold for 15-30 mins each time before I have to hang up. They charged me again. On hold today for 18 mins, finally got someone. They will not refund me the last charge unless they put in a ticket for the location to approve it. Total wait time on this last call was 28 mins. And today I accidentally locked my car keys in my Jeep and my phone was in there, so I went to the customer service area and the lady working was great and said they actually have a kit to get into locked cars! Clive, (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was able to get my car unlocked and he was very patient and kind! They saved me a lot of money by them being able to get my keys out of there themselves! Back in 2022 I had their monthly auto charge but when I decided to cancel because I wasn't getting value of service for amount charged they never cancelled the auto charge. Juniper/Barkley CC still kept getting the monthly charge. They never did put through my stop request nor refunded the invalid charges. I finally cancelled my card but to this day that old CC shows $319.96 owing, and I am told by Barkley that Rocket Express would need to send a credit ti clear the account. Took our Tacoma to this place for the first time and the chrome trim part of the grill, which is not even supposed to detach from the grill, was pulled off and the plastic tabs that held it are broken. Bought this truck new and nothing like this has ever happened to it until now. Usually go to Mister trouble-free. There is a big sign saying they are not responsible to damage to vehicles over 10 years old! I guess we all should have been warned and it's somehow our fault? I took my LR4 in to get a car wash. There's dryers with her on steroids blew the covering of my side mirror off. I made a claim and they said because my car was over 10 years old and my mirrors did not retract they were not responsible. Even though I don't live in Idaho and was only visiting family. When I finally realized it I called. The GM, Mariah was extremely rude. She said I knew what I was doing, I had to have been told. I literally had to roll my window up to block him out as he continued to sell to my closed window. Then he pretended to hit the button on the screen to close the sale making me sit several minutes and wait (no one was in front of us/no line) for the arm to go up.. Justin, the manager, told me they were not responsible for the damage because my truck was over ten years old. I contacted two auto detail shops in the Meridian area to repair the damage caused by Rocket Express. After seeing the amount of bugs and sap on my car he offered to run it through a second time at no charge just to ensure my car was as clean as possible. I filed a damage claim and James Jones the GM their denied being responsible saying there was preexisting damage.
