    I love this place. Went here for a wedding just yesterday and it was such a cute outdoor and indoor venue! Ample space outside, half the area where the garden/Secret garden vibes was empty or usually just used for a place to sit and relax and photo-ops of course. I think all the staff were so great. Everyone worked as a team. I remember seeing the bar tender collecting plates and cups then a minute or two later he's back at the bar. The staff is very friendly and always takes seconds to help. The food was great. Lined up was bread rolls, two choices of salads, two salad dressings, veggies, mash potatoes, chicken Marsala, and prime rib! everything was soft and delicious. My only con is that the bathroom always smelled and it needs a remodel. I'd definitely suggest this place to a few of my friends. It's tucked in between residential and somewhat business area. Parking isn't too bad when you're early but theirs a lot of street parking too.

    "The Rockefeller Lodge is simple yet elegant." The Rockefeller Lodge by far met my expectations. Debbie the manager and the staff are so easy to talk to. My guest raved about how usually at weddings you never have a great wedding with great food, so they ranted about how wonderful the food was! The staff was so courteous, and at the wedding you didn't even realize they were there... The lodge is great especially if you are on a budget and want a simple wedding. For the ceremony and reception can easily say I spent a little over or about $5000. Everyone loved it! My wedding day turned out perfect! I loved every minute of it!

    We've been married for almost 2 years and I still have people ask about this venue. It's unassuming, and very affordable, but you can really transform this venue to make it just the way you like it. It's an intimate venue but you really don't notice, especially when you utilize the outdoors. We had about 5 tables outside and it worked perfectly. Food was great, though I do wish we had a chance to sample it before the big day. But, a HUGE perk was us being able to take the extra food home. I definitely recommend this venue as Debbie and Jonathan are easy to work with. It makes a great indoor/outdoor venue.

    I am so thankful that we found this place! They were wonderful to work with and I loved the look of the venue. We had about 70 people and it felt great. I really wanted to find a venue where I was not going to spend hours setting up tables and breaking down afterwards and this fit the bill! Wedding are what they DO here, and from my first meeting with Johnathan I had complete confidence in him and the rest of the staff. I was able to make small changes to the food items (veggie lasagna with more cheese and less veggies for example) and even added baked brie for a per person cost. We really were able to come in, put out our decorations and then just focus on getting ourselves ready. They have so many lush green areas that just look amazing for photographs. I was so happy to have the wisteria blooming for our day. I couldn't' be happier with how my wedding went, and picking the right venue is a big part of that!

    I had my wedding here last month, Rockefeller Lodge is a beautiful venue; my ceremony was outside reception inside. The food was amazing, the staff was beyond friendly and my photos came out great in their outdoor setting. I have since recommended this venue to a few people and would consider having another event here in the future. Debbie is awesome and very helpful!!!

    The redwood garden at the lodge makes for a surprisingly intimate wedding venue for the neighborhood this is in.

I'll break my review up into two components (plannings vs. day of), but our day could not have been more perfect or run more smoothly thanks to her and her team. Planning: From the start, we were impressed by Diana's organization and pragmatism. She has a great sense of what is "worth it" in terms of budget, and how to maximize impact for things like décor and flowers. This was extremely helpful, as we felt as though we were making good use of our budget, and were not pressured to overspend in any way. Choosing individual vendors was something that really overwhelmed me (there are so many great options!). Diana made this process seamless! At the start of our planning journey, we had a long discussion about what we were looking for in each vendor (e.g., photography style, entertainment type, floral colors, etc.) and our budget. She would send us 3-5 recommendations for each vendor and we would review and discuss. Obviously, if we wanted to see more options she would send them, but this really cut down on our stress and made this part of planning very straightforward. She also went through the entire design process with us, and put together a very detailed and helpful "mood board" that she shared with our florist, making that process super easy as well. Additionally, she was also extremely helpful in managing our vendors without letting us feel any stress. Our venue created some difficulties and could be frustrating to work with at times, and Diana did a TON of work in the background / back channeled with them to resolve any issues and keep things running smoothly. As we got closer to the day of, we had additional calls with her and all of our vendors to discuss the timeline. Diana created a VERY detailed, easy-to-follow timeline for the day before and day of. She also made a version for our families and bridal party that we could circulate. It was extremely helpful to have all of the timeline information in one place, and have the assurance that all of our vendors were on board with the timeline and could execute it easily. Day Of: Our day of could not have been better thanks to Diana and her team! They arrived early to the venue and ensured that everything was moving along with set up at the ceremony site and in the ballroom. My husband and I truly felt no stress the day of because we knew that all of the vendors were prepared and Diana was on it. We had a few timeline-related hiccups later in the day when our ceremony ran long (not Diana's fault!!) and she was quick to step in and make on-the-fly changes for the rest of the evening to make sure that things kept running smoothly. And the whole day was totally seamless as a result! All in all, I would wholeheartedly recommend Diana for any wedding or event planning. She was warm, kind, organized, and pragmatic, and my husband, both of our families, and I loved working with her. Could not recommend more!!

I was overwhelmed with the wedding planning process and knew I needed help to pull off our ideas for the day. She understood my vision immediately and worked with us to find the perfect vendors, give us ideas, and keep us reassured throughout the entire process. Our wedding was based in San Francisco, with a church ceremony in the city and our reception on Treasure Island. When I mentioned an idea to Diana that we could ferry the guests across the Bay instead of using shuttles, she didn't bat an eye. She reached out to all sorts of boat companies and we landed on the perfect transportation solution for our goals and our budget. The day, though logistically challenging, felt seamless. As a very organized person myself, I often find it difficult to relax when we're on a tight schedule; but that day, I felt so much at ease and incredibly supported the entire day knowing that Diana and her team had the details covered. When we arrived at the reception, the venue had been transformed by her team and our vendors. It was well beyond my expectations and even my original vision. Our decorations, food, DJ/Band hybrid, gelato and coffee bars were amazing; but just as equally amazing were the small details - the guests' table settings, photo and welcome tables were set up perfectly. Diana and her team made sure we got a chance to try all our appetizers and stuck to our timeline without it feeling too structured or like we were pulled in too many directions. Overall, this was truly the best day, and I'm so grateful for Diana and her team that made it so. Our guests are still telling us that this was the best wedding they had ever been to, complimenting every single aspect of it - and we owe that all to Diana. We couldn't have done it without her! I highly recommend her as a planner who is willing to take on every challenge and execute perfectly.

From our first conversation she listened to what I wanted and gave great suggestions. My wedding was in the fall so we went with the rich velvet table for the sweetheart table with the king and queen chairs! I loved everything about it. The wedding party linen was lavender. She provided these beautiful gold vases which matched the decor perfectly! The queen and king chairs were a hit! Every one wanted to take pictures in them. Angelica & her assistant were super professional and very responsive. She answered all text and emails within an hour. I wish I would have used more of her services. Affordable prices!!! In the wedding vendor world that is super hard to come by. I will use her for all my parties moving forward.

I decided to check out their Instagram site, and I was really impressed with the creativity, and color schemes she was able to create using the events theme. I called, and spoke to Angelica the owner. I told her the colors we were having for our wedding theme, and a few days later she sent me a few picture ideas of backdrops, and table linen creations to match. So, are you telling me you are going to do all my stressful dirty work?! Hell yeaaaa....where do I sign lol?! I hired her to decorate the dessert table, and the sweetheart table with the matching backdrop that also included the letter of our last name, and ordered two throne chairs to really set the tone. Our wedding colors were silver, and purple, with bling accents. She did a really good job. She also delivered and set up everything before the wedding, and came back to pick up everything once the reception was over. She's a brides angel.
