This visit came on the heels of a visit to an expensive, high-pressure, cult-like, mega-upselling "chiropractor" in Rockville Centre that accomplished nothing but lightening my wallet and, astonishingly, actually aggravating my lower back pain. What a contrast! At Caring Hands, instead of requiring multiple consultations (ie., multiple copays) before anything could even begin to get done, my injury was discussed and my treatment began that very day. Dr. Becker asked questions, listened, never rushed, and made me feel extremely comfortable, both emotionally and physically. She has this enormously caring and kind vibe that translates directly into how you are treated. I also finally experienced not only a bit of relief from the months-long pain of this injury, but hope that I might actually be able to return to my previously active lifestyle eventually. And did I mention the lack of upselling of "powders" and dubious treatments?? This may sound a bit of a stretch ... but here's the truth ... several years ago my wife was experiencing a wide variety of symptoms that went undiagnosed for months after visits to at least a half dozen doctors ... that is until I called Dr. Becker. In a ten minute phone call Dr. Becker accurately diagnosed my wife's illness, recommended a top notch specialist, and secured us an immediate appointment because of her professional relationship with the doctor. Faced with a round-trip flight to Los Angeles with a very sore and achy knee, I visited this clinic the day before my flight and received much needed relief from the pain. On the strength of this, I booked a follow up visit for my return for some clearly much-needed physical therapy. That proved to be a mistake. The session was extremely painful, which I suffered through under the delusion that it would result in improvement the next day. Reality was the exact opposite: I could barely walk or function the following day, and had to cancel an appointment in the city because I could not travel. Because this clinic only operate three days a week, the desperate voicemail I left seeking helpwas not return, even when the clinic reopened. Also, the twice promised list of relief stretches was never provided. They don't seem to monitor their voicemail very well: I canceled my following appointment, Which news they never received or acknowledged. Upon being discharged the facility assisted me in finding a physical therapy practice close by since I would be depended on Access-A- Ride as I was wheelchair bound. We settled on Phoenix after calling to verify the accepted my insurance etc. Keep in mind that for about 3 week my private insurance was providing at home PT via Visiting Nurse Services. Again, the Therpaist from VNS and I called and scheduled my first appointment with Phoenix. I was supposed to start on 4/2/25 but I had an orthopedic appointment and called to ask them to switch the date and was assigned 4/7/25 at 4:00 PM. Access-A-Ride was running a few minutes late, but I called and the gentleman said it was fine. I arrived, checked in and in less than 2 minutes everything went left. The dr asked me for my RX, license and insurance. I gave them to him, no issue. Then he asked about no fault. I explained to him that I did have no fault but it was depleted months ago. For context, Geico gives every person in an acccident $50,000. That ran out months ago as my bill for JHMC alone was $120,000 and the rehab was charging $16,000 for every two weeks. I personally never got a penny from it. Also for the record, there are no lawsuits involved because I didn't crash into anyone. I got sick and hit a wall. I have police report to show. However, the dr refused to see me ever though I have private insurance form my job as an educator. I was so humiliated and embarrassed. He made me feel like I had walked off the street to beg him something. The driver had already left and my return trip was scheduled for an hr later. I had to call Access and ask them to come back. In the car on the way home I called Emblem/ GHI and they notified me no one from Phoenix called them to verify that I did in fact have coverage for physical therapy solidifying that I was denied service for no reason. She tried to convince me to go back so she can speak to them but I refuse to ever set foot in that establishment ever again. The so called doctor needs a lesson in cultural sensitive and implicit bias. 0/10, I would not recommend.

He utilizes different modalities to target the tightness and stiffness in my neck and back.
