Where to begin. Tail end of lunch, we came in- they were out of refried beans (seriously you can't make this up). The place was okay, food was okay - nothing to warrant returning for given better options abound in the area. Ordered a bowl for kids meal for the boys, I ordered 3 tacos, got the steak, but wanted to try one with pork. I would recommend the pork, it was juicy and tender. It was good. My husband got the steak burrito and it was huge. Also got the guacamole and chips. The chips were ok? We've had better, it was a bit hard. However the guacamole and everything else was tasty. Although I normally would give rock the Guaka five star, I'm aiming more at 3 1/2 to 4. We went in last week and we noticed quite a few changes. Some of their meats were out. A lot of their toppings were empty and they no longer have papa guac sauce they also no longer recycle their glass bottles so I asked them have they been bought out by someone else and they said yes and I said I did not like the new changes. The food was average without my favorite sauce the rock the guac sauce, the kids that were working behind the counter did not seem how to roll the burritos. Well, everything was falling apart. It's gonna be a while until they get a better crew trained and learn how to put it back to the quality it used to be. It's off our dining list for a while sadly like I said I normally give this place a five star I'm gonna give them benefit of the doubt because of new owners new employees and give them a 3 to 4 star this time, but I'm not gonna eat there for a few few months. read more

We were craving some Mexican food and we came across this cute little spot while on vacation. Location is perfect. You can go there to eat after hanging out at the beach. Loved how colorful the decor is. Very different from any Mexican restaurants we've been to here in California. It's clean and the bathroom is clean. I absolutely loved the "HOT BAR" area. They have a sign with the level of heatness you can choose from. It is a counter-serve restaurant. Build your own tacos or burritos which is great for me since I'm a vegetarian. I've been coming to this location for over 2 years now and all of a sudden within the last 6 months the service and food is disgusting. All of a sudden can't buy one single taco... you HAVE to purchase 3 tacos and they up-charged the meals by $5, not to mention the quality of the food is horrible meat is always burnt or never seasoned. First of all, their process is horrible. they have 2 people at the counter and it is so slow because of their process. the restaurant was dirty, on the counter where they make the burritos there is food everywhere and when i opened up my burrito, i wasn't surprised to find food on the wrapper. then when we got the food, it was cold. it was not authentic at all, it tasted like everything was just thrown into the burrito and very rushed. i called and told them about my burrito and they ensured that their burritos are always hot and fresh which it clearly wasn't. i will not be coming back here and i would not recommend that other people go here. read more

We stopped in to Rock the Guac after a day at the beach and we were hungry! There were 4 of us and we each had something different - chicken burrito, steak tacos, chicken bowl, and jackfruit salad. The setup is similar to a Chipotle or Qdoba where you order your entree and can customize with toppings. I'd not had jackfruit before and wanted to try it out after reading an article about vegetarian protein options. I found it to be seasoned really well and had the same consistency as pulled pork. I thought it was pretty cool they offer a vegetarian protein option that isn't soy-based for those looking for it. We also got an order of quesomole and side of queso. Let me say, the quesomole is on point. I could've just eaten the whole container with a spoon by myself and maybe next time I will, lol! The restaurant also has a large selection of hot sauces to add to your entree. Rock the Guac has plenty of seating and the decor totally adds to the vibe. The parking can be a bit tricky in the front if you have a large vehicle because the parking lot runs into the sidewalk so you have to be extremely careful or just park around back or offsite and walk over. A fun place to get some food and refuel in Cocoa! We spent the morning at the beach, and on our way back to Orlando, we wanted to grab some food and this place was on the way! We are so glad we stopped in. They have a fun parking lot and building with tons of mural art and signage. The parking lot is smaller, so you may need to look for a spot or walk a little. There is plenty of seating inside (a mix of booths, high-tops, and low tops). You order at the counter and walk down the line to select your main meal, protein and toppings. I love watching my food being made so I can select everything in it! The staff was very friendly and they were regularly cleaning tables and counter spaces as people came and went. The decor on the inside was very fun too with plenty more art and things to look at. Prices were super reasonable and my burrito was VERY filling and the perfect way to end a great day at the beach. :) Overall: A+ Great food option right next to the beach. The guac had little chunks of avocados and tasted fresh. All in all, just walking in this restaurant was fun. If you don't rock with the guac, than try some of their sauces. Everything was nice. I have to admit this place is not what I expected. When driving by the beach. The last thing you think you'll find is a hip, delicious Mexican restaurant.. Wow... we were very pleasantly surprised. This place is amazing. There are no Chipotles in the area and that is a blessing because this place crushes most Mexican chains. The store is adorable. The food is amazing. Service is incredible and most importantly the store is clean with all employees wearing mask. Must I go on? They seriously offer something for everyone. It is very rare for a place to accommodate my fiancé's allergies of no Dairy or wheat and this place does with flying colors!! They have vegan cheese, corn tortillas and even offer Jackfruit. A excellent alternative for my vegan friends or just someone who loves to try something new. They have all types of yummy sodas including Jarritos. In the fountain drinks they have Stubborn soda another favorite. Lastly they have Horchata. I was in literal heaven. The food is decently priced. Pretty good! Located right next to the Giant Ron Jon surf shop on The main drag. It's Chipotle-style, but variety is great and has unique offerings Chipotle doesn't. They have three rices, two types of beans, meats, toppings, etc. on a burrito, you can have 5 toppings before they charge $.50 extra. Honestly, that is plenty and the burritos were stuffed to the max. They have jackfruit as an option for vegetarians and of course, no meat also works. All of their beans and rices are vegetarian--I asked. They have great soda options. Stubborn root beer, cream soda, and cherry soda and a few other regular Pepsi products. Chips, guac, queso and salsa are pretty expensive $6.99-$8.99, but you can add guac or queso to your meal for $1 if you need to try it. We didn't. Our kids had kid meals that came with a drink and chips, so we just snagged some of their chips. Burritos were plenty large. Would return! read more

It has been over 19 years since I was last in Cocoa Beach...The kiddos and were hungry and this place was about a block away from the huge Ron Jon store. It is a small local hole in the wall. I found the food tasty. I got the tacos(chicken/steak/pork). I was told the ground beef taco was a bit greasy so they were unable to finish it, but over all it wasn't bad. The kids liked the self serve drinks and they had a variety of hot sauce bottles to spice your food the way you want. Was at Coco Beach with some friends on vacation and was starving so we decided to walk along the street and saw Rock the Guac. At first glance, it looked like any old beach restaurant but when we went inside we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant itself is cozy but still gives off the tourist feel. The workers greeted us warmly and explained how the process worked. The restaurant works just like Qdoba or Chipotle - picking your food and bases and creating your own quesadilla or burrito (or taco if that's your thing) I ended up getting the Jalapeno Tortilla quesadilla with steak, spinach, cheese, queso, jalapenos and mushrooms. The quesadilla was GREAT - loved it. The chips and queso were great as well. I also was feeling frisky and decided to get their house made sangria - loved it, sweet but you could definitely taste the alcohol. Definitely would love to come back. read more

Let me preface this review by saying I was excited to eat here; really wanted to like it and look forward to coming back. It's like Chipotle and Tijuana Flats had a baby, plus workers were super cool. The problem I have is that they claim that their guac is homemade and as someone who makes homemade guac all the time and also orders it out at restaurants; their guac is not home made. I'm sorry, it's just not. It tastes exactly like the stuff you buy at publix or aldi, that chemically - preserved taste. My friend who shared the guac with me agreed, we were not given homemade guac... but don't take my word for it; taste it for yourself. It just bothers me that they claim to have a "world famous guac" when it clearly isn't and then $6 for something that leaves a chemical aftertaste in my mouth for hours...
