Came with a friend who used to live nearby. Very tasty food. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The staff was good and the food came out pretty quick. Parking available in front and in back. This is a place that I'll definitely come back to eat.

If you're at Ron John's or on Cocoa Beach by there just go here for lunch. Park behind in Ron John's free parking. Three of us got rice bowls. Red rice is mild but tasty with black beans. The pork is so tender and outstanding. Service was fast and friendly. Restrooms were clean. Solid lunch spot if you're beaching or at Ron John's

Where to begin. Tail end of lunch, we came in- they were out of refried beans (seriously you can't make this up). The place was okay, food was okay - nothing to warrant returning for given better options abound in the area. Service was awful, in the middle of my family's order they started making a to go order - thus making two of us wait and making family dining together unlikely. Honestly if I could give a negative star I would. Interesting decor but really dirty with huge clumps of dust around the inside of the restaurant.

Came here for a bite to eat with my family, it was empty. The lady was nice and gave us some recommendations. Ordered a bowl for kids meal for the boys, I ordered 3 tacos, got the steak, but wanted to try one with pork. I would recommend the pork, it was juicy and tender. It was good. My husband got the steak burrito and it was huge. Also got the guacamole and chips. The chips were ok? We've had better, it was a bit hard. However the guacamole and everything else was tasty. Nice pit stop and had nice decor inside.

We had the chicken and pork burrito bowl today, it was good but the jury is still out on whether we go back. Flavor was good, portion was good, price was good, service was great! Ambiance is cute, place is clean.

Food was quicky made and delivered and tasted amazing! The indoor decor is amazing. Service was fast and very polite! I 100% would return and recommend to anyone who loves tacos. There queso is hot and delicious

I spent a day and night in Cocoa Beach and needed lunch and Mexican food sounded good. Rock the Guac was the perfect option. There is a lot of colorful art on the facade of the restaurant so it was easy to spot. Fortunately, the food was also good. I ordered a simple bowl with guac. After all, it's in the restaurant name, right? It was exactly what I needed from Mexican food. At lunch on a weekday, there were other customers, but there was also room for me to sit inside. I would come back to this restaurant.

The restaurant itself looked the part and so did the food. ..The atmosphere and presentation of the food were exactly what you'd expect from an authentic Mexican restaurant....Unfortunately, the flavor just wasn't there. We ordered the ceviche..it was lazily slapped together..let's say it's "rustic" style it had about 1oz of tomatoes and a 1/4 of red onion with 3 colossal shrimp cut into chunks in it and a half of avocado for $13. We ordered two kids' enchiladas with rice and beans, a kids' quesadilla, an order of flautas, and a horchata. While everything looked great, almost every dish lacked seasoning and depth of flavor. Ironically, the most flavorful thing we had was the salsa but it came in such a tiny bowl that it was gone after literally four chips. It was about the size of just over a ketchup cup, which wasn't nearly enough for the basket of chips. The horchata was also disappointing. It tasted more like watered-down milk than the rich, cinnamon-flavored drink i was expecting. If you're looking for authentic, bold hispanic flavors, this may leave you disappointed. However, if you're looking for a more diluted, americanized mexican restaurant, this may be exactly what you're looking for. Jonathan's excellent service is the reason this review received 4 stars instead of fewer.

Eventually, a man walked by and said he'd be with us shortly. Five minutes later, he returned we asked if we could be seated outside with a smile he said yes. He was pleasant. I'm not sure if they were shorthanded or what the deal was, but it was a lot of waiting to not be very busy inside, but we were hungry and wanted to try the food so we gave them a chance. Our waitress was nice. My mother ordered a vegetable burrito. My daughter ordered a cheese quesadilla. My cousin ordered a chicken and beef taco and I ordered vegetable quesadilla. We also had rice, black beans, chips, and salsa, queso, and guacamole . The food came out hot. I had no complaints at all on the food. Everything was delicious. The cheese was a little runny, but it didn't matter because it was so good. I will definitely be back to that location. I might try sitting at the bar. It looked pretty inviting from the front door. I basically paid $15 for two tortilla shells with a bunch of pepper and onions. Honestly, I usually compliment restaurants as I know they work hard but this place was ridiculous. Nothing was done to correct the experience and I left paying for all our meals like I'd have scored better at Taco Bell. I will definitely never go back. Too bad for them too as I now live nearby and tend to eat Mexican food often. Or maybe they don't care. Not one thing about the experience felt like they were happy to have customers. I'd have given it a 1 star but we did eat our food as we were literally starving.

I used to go to Cocoa Beach every year growing up. When my mom got sick with stage 4 cancer this past year and decided that she wanted to eventually have her ashes scattered there, we took one more trip together as a whole family while everyone was still around. My wife reached out to the hotel and a couple of businesses nearby with our story. Kelly invited my whole family in for a free meal, and showered us with love, warmth, and generosity of spirit unlike any other business---or frankly, stranger---than I ever encountered. We wanted to repay her for her kindness, so we picked out some cute hats from her shop, but when we went to pay her for them, she ended up giving us those too, and throwing in a deck of cards for my son. Lastly, after walking us over to her next door neighboring business, The Fat Donkey, to do the same (she had talked to them earlier), Kelly had such a moving, long conversation with my mom. I'm not sure what they talked about, but it was unbelievably clear that we all felt the same way about Kelly. Please please please go to the Tiny Turtle. Spend your money there. Give this business your love. Tell the waiters that you heard the food was good and the owner was even better. This is the kind of business that is not only bringing good food to people for a good price, but is bringing good to people, period. Thank you, Kelly, for all that you did for my mom and for my family. I know that it may not seem like much for strangers reading this review, but the generosity and kindness and beautiful caring words from a stranger when we are going through a hard year was much more impactful than what people know. I'm hoping that it will be a long time until we see you again, but we will most certainly be back to the Tiny Turtle.

Simply can't wait to return. The long version says the following: The location is easy to get too, and the inside of the restaurant is visually appealing. Though I do lean towards the beachy, tropical theme of things, this place does it without being kitschy or tacky. Though I expected the inside to have been wholly remodeled since the last restaurant that was a tenant here - it really had not. Instead, they updated the seating, bar, and outside to their taste - which is good, IMHO. I really liked the use of tablets for their menus. This was novel to me as I had never experienced it until I came here. The tablets worked well and even so, you got a feel for how extensive their menu truly is. Food-wise, there were no complaints around the table. I had their pork bowl which not only comes out hot and fresh, but copious - I just couldn't finish it - they piled on the food with what appeared to be wild abandon. My wife had their fajita plate which was massive. That definitely ended up going home with us. Desserts were their flan which had a flavor I had not expected, maybe not to true style, but definitely rich and delicious. No complaints here. Service was not only friendly but patient with us as we had plenty of questions for being our first time here, but it wasn't as attentive as I would have like. I think the waiter was overstretched in tables, but he still did an overall great job with us. In short, the newest Mexican restaurant in the area represents very well, and we are looking forward to our next trip back, hopefully very soon...

From a food standpoint alone, I'd absolutely come back. That said, the experience was a bit confusing and ended on a frustrating note. We weren't asked whether our order was for here or to go, and after ordering, our group of five sat down (we pulled together five chairs) and waited for our food. Despite that, everything came out in to-go packaging. When we walked in, we noticed other tables dining in had bottles with three different types of salsa available. However, we were only given a very small portion in a to-go container. I went up to grab a pineapple Jarrito and asked if we could use the salsa bottles since we were eating there. Instead, I was told no and that we had already been given to-go salsa--and they also tried to charge me extra for additional salsa. What made it more frustrating was that when I explained we were dining in, I was told that we had asked for our food to go, which wasn't the case. No one in our group was asked, and we had clearly sat down to eat inside. It felt unnecessarily rigid and dismissive, especially since we brought in a group of five and spent over $70. The food was genuinely great, but the lack of communication and flexibility on the service side made the experience feel awkward and disappointing. I'd still recommend the place for the food, but hopefully the service improves.
