Where to begin. Tail end of lunch, we came in- they were out of refried beans (seriously you can't make this up). The place was okay, food was okay - nothing to warrant returning for given better options abound in the area. Service was awful, in the middle of my family's order they started making a to go order - thus making two of us wait and making family dining together unlikely. Honestly if I could give a negative star I would. Interesting decor but really dirty with huge clumps of dust around the inside of the restaurant.

Came here for a bite to eat with my family, it was empty. The lady was nice and gave us some recommendations. Ordered a bowl for kids meal for the boys, I ordered 3 tacos, got the steak, but wanted to try one with pork. I would recommend the pork, it was juicy and tender. It was good. My husband got the steak burrito and it was huge. Also got the guacamole and chips. The chips were ok? We've had better, it was a bit hard. However the guacamole and everything else was tasty. Nice pit stop and had nice decor inside.

We had the chicken and pork burrito bowl today, it was good but the jury is still out on whether we go back. Flavor was good, portion was good, price was good, service was great! Ambiance is cute, place is clean.

Food was quicky made and delivered and tasted amazing! The indoor decor is amazing. Service was fast and very polite! I 100% would return and recommend to anyone who loves tacos. There queso is hot and delicious

I spent a day and night in Cocoa Beach and needed lunch and Mexican food sounded good. Rock the Guac was the perfect option. There is a lot of colorful art on the facade of the restaurant so it was easy to spot. Fortunately, the food was also good. I ordered a simple bowl with guac. After all, it's in the restaurant name, right? It was exactly what I needed from Mexican food. At lunch on a weekday, there were other customers, but there was also room for me to sit inside. I would come back to this restaurant.

We were craving some Mexican food and we came across this cute little spot while on vacation. Location is perfect. You can go there to eat after hanging out at the beach. Loved how colorful the decor is. Very different from any Mexican restaurants we've been to here in California. It's clean and the bathroom is clean. I absolutely loved the "HOT BAR" area. They have a sign with the level of heatness you can choose from. It is a counter-serve restaurant. Build your own tacos or burritos which is great for me since I'm a vegetarian. Customer service was great. The servers were very friendly and helpful. I recommend this cute spot for sure!

We stopped in to Rock the Guac after a day at the beach and we were hungry! There were 4 of us and we each had something different - chicken burrito, steak tacos, chicken bowl, and jackfruit salad. The setup is similar to a Chipotle or Qdoba where you order your entree and can customize with toppings. I'd not had jackfruit before and wanted to try it out after reading an article about vegetarian protein options. I found it to be seasoned really well and had the same consistency as pulled pork. I thought it was pretty cool they offer a vegetarian protein option that isn't soy-based for those looking for it. We also got an order of quesomole and side of queso. Let me say, the quesomole is on point. I could've just eaten the whole container with a spoon by myself and maybe next time I will, lol! The restaurant also has a large selection of hot sauces to add to your entree. Rock the Guac has plenty of seating and the decor totally adds to the vibe. The parking can be a bit tricky in the front if you have a large vehicle because the parking lot runs into the sidewalk so you have to be extremely careful or just park around back or offsite and walk over. Rock the Guac is a solid choice when you're looking for a casual meal at the beach.

The other asked us to wait a moment and left us standing there looking at our takeout. I walked in and looked around and was finally able to wave down the guy who took our order. He was busy waiting on a table. The women had disappeared. As far as quality of food, it was okay. We had cheese enchiladas and also the seafood enchiladas with rice and beans. We also ordered the taco dinner that had 3 beef tacos on it. Those were the best and most flavorful. We were given chips and salsa at no extra charge, so that was a nice surprise. We would eat there again but stick with the tacos in the future.

The food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. The small soffrito bowl (about $11) is the perfect size to satisfy without feeling completely stuffed and uncomfortable. Their slow cooked pork is so good and moist. I had the same on my Huevos Rancheros on our third visit. I love Huevos Rancheros and I think this was the best version of it I've ever had! The eggs over easy were perfectly cooked runny yokes but fully cooked whites. I dug in too quickly to think to snap a photo first! The other big selling point for me is that they squeeze their own lime, lemon and orange juices so their house margarita at only $9 is absolutely delicious! It goes down too easily but with such a good price why not get a second?? Our second lunch I tried the mahi mahi tacos and I appreciated that the fish was grilled and not fried so there are menu options that are fairly healthy. This day I opted to only have 1 margarita and then have an ice cream at Fat Donkey Ice Cream directly next door. We liked eating outside on the front patio with the tiki-style thatched roof. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. Go check out the Tiny Turtle! We'll definitely be back!

Simply can't wait to return. The long version says the following: The location is easy to get too, and the inside of the restaurant is visually appealing. Though I do lean towards the beachy, tropical theme of things, this place does it without being kitschy or tacky. Though I expected the inside to have been wholly remodeled since the last restaurant that was a tenant here - it really had not. Instead, they updated the seating, bar, and outside to their taste - which is good, IMHO. I really liked the use of tablets for their menus. This was novel to me as I had never experienced it until I came here. The tablets worked well and even so, you got a feel for how extensive their menu truly is. Food-wise, there were no complaints around the table. I had their pork bowl which not only comes out hot and fresh, but copious - I just couldn't finish it - they piled on the food with what appeared to be wild abandon. My wife had their fajita plate which was massive. That definitely ended up going home with us. Desserts were their flan which had a flavor I had not expected, maybe not to true style, but definitely rich and delicious. No complaints here. Service was not only friendly but patient with us as we had plenty of questions for being our first time here, but it wasn't as attentive as I would have like. I think the waiter was overstretched in tables, but he still did an overall great job with us. In short, the newest Mexican restaurant in the area represents very well, and we are looking forward to our next trip back, hopefully very soon...

From a food standpoint alone, I'd absolutely come back. That said, the experience was a bit confusing and ended on a frustrating note. We weren't asked whether our order was for here or to go, and after ordering, our group of five sat down (we pulled together five chairs) and waited for our food. Despite that, everything came out in to-go packaging. When we walked in, we noticed other tables dining in had bottles with three different types of salsa available. However, we were only given a very small portion in a to-go container. I went up to grab a pineapple Jarrito and asked if we could use the salsa bottles since we were eating there. Instead, I was told no and that we had already been given to-go salsa--and they also tried to charge me extra for additional salsa. What made it more frustrating was that when I explained we were dining in, I was told that we had asked for our food to go, which wasn't the case. No one in our group was asked, and we had clearly sat down to eat inside. It felt unnecessarily rigid and dismissive, especially since we brought in a group of five and spent over $70. The food was genuinely great, but the lack of communication and flexibility on the service side made the experience feel awkward and disappointing. I'd still recommend the place for the food, but hopefully the service improves.
