We recently had our kitchen counter, master bath counters, and shower replaced by this company…read more From beginning to end, it was a pleasure to work with the people we encountered. Mary at the front desk was kind, patient, helpful, and professional in my process of deciding what I wanted. She explained the entire process to me so there was no confusion. Mike Burnside came out and did all of the measuring with great care. Mike Burnside, David Wiggins, and Patience removed the old kitchen counter and sink, the old bathroom counters and sinks and replaced the counters with Quartz, porcelain sinks in the bathroom, and a stainless steel sink in the kitchen. These guys are professional, kind, and they were very careful in our home. A couple of weeks later, Mike Burnside, Fella (don't know his real name) and Marquel came to tear out the old shower and install the new one. Again, these guys were very professional and took great care in our home. I am so happy with everything I chose. It looks really beautiful. But what is much more important to us is that these guys treated our home as if it was theirs. They all are meticulous in their various jobs. If something isn't just right they work until it is. Remodeling is stressful to most any homeowner, however this crew made the process fairly easy for us with their professionalism, with the way they explained things step by step, even with their sense of humor. It is so rare these days to find a company that actually cares and where the workers take pride in what they do, where they show up when they say they will, and they do not spend all day on their phones. I just cannot say enough good things about everyone I came in contact with at Micalline.

This location was referred to us from a Lexington, SC Home Depot staff employee that's on Sunset Blvd. We was able to find this store location with ease, with the use of a GPS device or Google maps. Upon entering I was greeted by a knowledgeable and very professional staff. I was fortunate to get some assistance with my chainsaw repair by Anthony the manager, and I was very impressed with his customer service. He took his time to fix the problem I was having with my saw, and when I asked him how much I owed. He responded with "you don't owe me nothing" and thanked me for military service. He also just explained that he would really appreciate my business the next time. I'm positive that we will be back in near future and will highly recommend them to my friends!!!

During our real estate transaction, we encountered multiple situations that caused us to question…read morewhether Candace Rose Vickery was acting in our best interest as our buyer's agent. The most serious issue involved a screened porch that had been converted into a sunroom. During the inspection, concerns about the roof led us to request that a licensed roofer evaluate the work. This revealed the renovation had been completed without permits. When we asked for documentation, none was provided. We then filed a FOIA request ourselves, which confirmed that no permit had been issued and no inspection had been performed. Candace did not initially view this as a concern and advised us to proceed toward closing, stating this was normal in South Carolina and that permit verification was not typically required. We informed her we would not move forward without proper permitting and inspection. Our daughter, a licensed Realtor in Georgia who referred us to Candace, contacted her to discuss the situation. Candace stated she needed to "get us onboard" because we would not find a better home and suggested our daughter speak with the closing attorney. The attorney confirmed that closing without resolving the permitting issue would not be in our best interest and offered to contact Candace directly. Only after this did Candace begin efforts to obtain the required permit and inspection. Candace had previously stated she was close to qualifying as a licensed contractor based on her experience, which makes the lack of awareness regarding permitting requirements for an addition concerning. There were also other instances during the transaction that reflected poor judgment and raised concerns about the level of representation we received.
