Certainly the sign of a good place whether it's a restaurant, car repair or a bar. I linked onto the site and followed along until I found the spot to make a reservation. Now the question was asked "leave car" or I'll wait". I chose leave the car and no reservations were available for a few days so...I backed up and chose I'll wait an available times popped up for tomorrow... Okay tomorrow 9:45 that would work. I arrived for my appointment a bit early, Jaedon was in the office and he logged the car in and said he'd call when it was ready, cool. So I left to do my work out and walk and a couple hours later I saw the missed call and a text to pick up my car, wow. Now he had told me the service fee and I thought that was a bit high and yes that price included the smog certificate. Once I was back in the office, (they have a great little waiting room just behind the shop) Jaedon reviewed the inspection they had done on the car and the washed my car too. A good shop will wash your car, that was cool. Everything was in good order, the car passed the smog test. I ordered the filters and wiper blades that needed replacement from the big A and saved a couple bucks. They also didn't tell me they broke two bolts on my throttle body to access the spark plugs. I found that out when I brought it to Todd's Garage to actually get repaired for 1/2 the cost (finished in 2 hours from drop off to pick up). I know Wimmer's is a AAA service shop, but I recommend shopping around for a better mechanic.

On the drive home the air pressure warning light came on and stayed on. Turns out the pressure sensors in the tires were not properly reset. One shop didn't even want to do it. Bill showed up right on time and after answering a few more questions went to his craft. Took him about one hour and my car was running better than when I bought it. My cruiser has 193,000 miles on it and is running great now. I've put 500 miles on it since the fix and no problems. He also gave me some heads up on how to see potential cooling problems. Great guy, great company and great service. I will update this from time to time. Thanks for the great service.
