His craftsmanship is top notch, he's simply a great person to work with, and he gives you an honest assessment of what you do and don't need. He and his crew worked steadily (and hard) to complete the work in a reasonable time, and kept me up to date with the progress. I highly recommend Jose and his team, so much so, that I have them coming back for two other projects. Jose, thank you again !

Gabby is such a pleasure to work with and we are SO HAPPY with our new walkway! She knows her stuff…read moreso well. She listened to our needs and even when my husband imposed his will on the design, she executed it flawlessly and even added a twist of her own (a little garden retaining wall). I would have sworn wouldn't look right - but of course I was dead wrong. It's now my favorite part of the walkway. Her guys (who are incredibly personable, professional, hard workers - I never saw even one of them take a break!) were done in a day and a half and even came back the very next day to make a last minute we requested. Gabby Grace Landscaping is the absolute best bet for professional landscaping in the Hudson valley - she is an expert. I can't wait to work with Gabby and her team again!

I would hire them again without hesitation.

IM LANDSCAPING & MASONRY TO THE RESCUE!!…read more Since the pandemic, our patio was in desperate need of a refresh; take out the weeds, clean the bluestones and put poly sand in the joints. After getting several estimates, we called IM Landscaping and spoke to Freddy. He was able to come to our home and give us an estimate to do the work, which was fair and reasonable. Freddy and his team arrived early the next morning. I loved the fact that they were very thorough in removing the weeds, digging deep to get the root balls out. After that, they power washed the entire patio, even behind the condenser. Everything was so fresh and clean!! Due to the rain forecast, Freddy thought it best to make sure the stones were thoroughly dry before he installed the sand. He returned the following week and completed the work. Several neighbors immediately commented on how nice our patio looks. We're sorry that we didn't take before and after pictures to post. Do not hesitate to give IM Landscaping & Masonry a call. They are knowledgeable, professional, and their prices are reasonable. Thank you Freddy!!

If you're looking for a reliable and creative landscaping company, I highly recommend them!

This contractor walked away from a project, leaving behind…read moreunfinished rooms, crooked, unusable sheetrock, gaps everywhere, wrong board on bathroom walls and floors. New contractor needs to redo large portions of their work. They provided an estimate of a budget that they blew through by nearly a double. They signed a contract saying the project would take a handful of weeks. And here we are, many months later... and "A Better Finish" walked off the job. They are a disgrace to their profession. If you, after reading this comment, choose to hire this contractor, do yourself a favor and make sure they are never ahead of you financially because THEY WILL NOT COMPLETE their work. They will overcharge and they will underdeliver. They will blow through your budget with no remorse. Just as long as they get paid handsomely, daily. They turned a promising home and art studio that were supposed to bring joy to people who hired them... into an unfinished shell of despair. For a video of what "A Better Finish" left behind, the unfinished, sad space that is our uninhabitable former barn - send a note and I will happily forward it. I needed some MAJOR yard work done in my home in Beacon and I'm so thankful that I came across Manuel. I honestly don't think anyone else would be able to do what Manuel and his team did. He truly exceeded all of my expectations and made the property ten times bigger! The work Manuel did on my property included building multiple retainer walls, tree removal, concrete work, fixing drainage issues, removing debris, leveling, building a stone patio and steps, planning trees and grasses, and more! HE CAN DO IT ALL!!! And always on time, on budget, and exceeding expectations! I am so glad that I found Manuel and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for THE BEST landscaping and construction team!

The patio is along the back of my house and there are 2 doors going into the house from the patio, one slider and one hinged door. The new patio looks good enough but the whole thing is too high relative to the house, the top of the pavers are the same height as the top of the door saddle. I can not install a storm door because it will hit a floor mat. I had asked Manuel to make the patio about an inch below the door saddles during the estimate and again before the pavers were installed, he agreed but didn't do it. It's discouraging, the patio looks nice but it's the wrong height. Now I face the dilemma of living with it or having another contractor rip it out and install it at the right height.
