Every time I come to town I have to stop here for the fried clams. They're the best I've had!

Disgusting order of steamers. Loaded with sand. . That's uncalled for...we've had them elsewhere and they're clean as can be

I have left reviews of Rock Bottom before and this is the first time I have left any review to…read morereiterate how good this place is. The woman who works the front basically the face of the business is fantastic. They always greet me with a smile and what I'm ordering is very good. I laugh but she's not wrong. It's always clean and bright. Papa's fish soup is great and served hot which you might take for granted but not nowadays. We each had the Tuesday specials, fish and chips and the homemade salmon burger. Keep up the good work and we'll be back!

We've had great food and service at Rock Bottom over the years but had a disappointing take out…read moreexperience. I ordered a clam belly roll. My wife got the salmon burger. When I got home and opened up the bags there was no ketchup or tartar sauce. Most people have ketchup in the fridge so not a big deal but no tartar sauce? C'mon!!! Their usual crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside French fries have been replaced with boring "run of the mill" fries. The clam belly roll was in fact all clam strips. Not a single belly to be found. The roll was at least buttered and toasted but was a little stale. There were a few "bottom of the bag" crumbles of lettuce sprinkled in the bottom of the bun. Overall, a very sad sandwich. My wife's salmon burger was fine. Her bun was also stale.

Year after year, this location of Seafood Sam's has been a reliably excellent pit stop on our way…read moreon or off the Cape. The staff has always been nice, the fryers are always hot, seafood fresh and delicious, and all at a good value. Don't sleep on the Southern Fried Chicken Dinner, super tender juicy meat with a very crispy thin crunchy exterior, with a great buttermilk biscuit. My favorite fried chicken of the summer! Steamers and mussels are always fresh, delicious, and a generous portion. Fish and chips or Seafood Platter are top quality and never disappoint. There's plenty of free parking, and after eating you can take a walk along the canal, check out the visitor center, or stroll out to the beach.

I stopped at Sam's Seafood after seeing on their website that they're famous for their lobster…read morebisque, but overall the experience was pretty mediocre. The lobster bisque was disappointing and quite bland, especially given the hype. We also ordered a cup of clam chowder and it barely had any clams in it and was also very bland. I ordered a lobster roll and a separate order of onion rings as well. The lobster roll was just okay , the lobster itself was cooked well, but there wasn't a lot of meat for the price, so it didn't feel like a great value. The onion rings were fine but nothing special. The setup is more of a quick-service style: you order at the counter, get a buzzer, sit down, and then go pick up your food when it's ready. It's convenient enough if you're looking for something fast and casual, but between the bland bisque and chowder and the average lobster roll, it's not a place I'd go out of my way to visit again. I probably wouldn't stop here next time.

Delicious offerings, stellar service, tucked in next to the fishing boats and just a short drive…read moreover the Sagamore bridge. We sat outside under a full moon with beautiful string lights and the gentle sound of the water and boats tucked into the docks on our last evening on the cape. Live music that was not overwhelming drifted from the outdoor bar area. The food was cooked to perfection and the service was friendly, attentive and welcoming! Open all year with an interesting history behind the property. A must visit. I loved that they were so helpful with GF alterations and menu items marked. It is a shared fryer. I enjoyed the Jonah Stuffed Haddock * without the bread crumbs. The person I dined with really enjoyed the Lobster Mac and cheese and same meal without alterations. They even have little picnic lunches to go that would be perfect for the beaches. We didn't get a chance to try it but will next time.

I was very excited to try fisherman's view seafood market and restaurant while on my vacation week…read morein the Cape. I was really happy to see all the gluten-free options they had on the menu and our server was amazing. They have really good options on the menu from crispy dragon rolls to blackened halibut and, of course, lobster rolls. But I chose the bacon lobster tomato and it was perfect for lunch. Their gluten-free bun was a fluffy and rice flour based (for all of you with nut allergies to almond flour) the fries are not gluten free (we got plates to split to try more) The salmon carpaccio was a great appetizer and we also got the Sword fish dish. The house clam chowder is a MUST get and next time I'm definitely going to order the lobster Mac and cheese. The view was super nice. We had a great day to eat outside/ inside right along the indoor patio window. Overall I'd come back here and recommend you try this restaurant when you come to the cape!

Parking is very tricky with about ten spots in front of brewery. Also town beach paid parking right next door. The place was bustling on both floors. The main floor set up for order pickups and merchandise. There was a small pizza place as well The tasting room is on the second floor with nice view of the beach and harbor. The brewery provides indoor & outdoor seating but inside was very tight on a rainy day. Standing room only for many patrons. Full selection of Tree House beers and canned cocktails. My husband and I are already big Tree House fans, but this was our first time visiting the Cape…read morelocation, and it definitely didn't disapoint. The brewery is right on the beach, so you have stunning oceanfront views from basically every seat. There's a bunch of outdoor seating (which is kind of shaded, but was still sooo hot in July), a really cool tap room upstairs, and one of the best brewery merch stores I've seen on the ground floor. We visited on 4th of July weekend, so the minimal parking next the brewery was totally full. Luckily, there's an overflow lot with a shuttle van about 5 minutes down the road. It was pretty tricky to find however, so be sure to ask the staff in the on-site parking lot for specific directions if you need to get there. They serve all the same great beer you expect from Tree House, plus they have a nice little cocktail bar outside, so there's something for everyone. I really liked the Cape Hound and the Rum Punch. They also have great pizzas and lobster rolls, which are a bit pricey but worth the splurge in my opinion. You can also pick up cans to go here, and because Tree House doesn't distribute otherwise, that's a huge win for any locals in the area. Great spot to visit on your trip to Cape Cod. We'll be back!

Phenomenal food with a great view!…read more We came all the way out to Bournedale to get our ultrasound photos done and wanted to find a great spot to celebrate the milestone--The Seafood Shanty was the absolute perfect choice! The food was incredible across the board. I had the lobster grilled cheese and my fiancée got the lobster salad roll (both served with a generous side of fries), and both were completely delicious and packed with flavor. She also paired a root beer float with their clam chowder. The chowder was prepped a little differently than what we're used to--it's made without flour to thicken it--but it was still super flavorful and comforting nonetheless! To top it all off, you really can't beat the nice water views while you eat. Even though the place was hopping, the food came out in a really impressive time. We had such a wonderful visit celebrating here and will definitely be coming back the next time we're in the area!
