Second time I have been here. Equipment here is a little worn down and old. Feels like they could keep the bathrooms and the place a little cleaner. I do like that this place is better for smaller kids. It is not too large like some of the other play areas and I felt comfortable sitting down below and not being up in the structure the entire time. Also climbing spaces are smaller so not easy for parents to get up anyway. We had 5 kids under the age of 3 and they all were entertained for over 2 hours. Just don't go on the weekend when there are birthday parties! You will regret it! Also need to work on making the front gate a little more secure. Worried about a kid getting out.

10 days into February and they haven't taken down a January advertisement

This rating is depending on if you like their "no fox given" attitude (you may replace "fox" with another F word). First two employees did not talk to me or my kids (aside from paying the entry fee). No smiles or cheerful demeanor when we said "Good morning!" to one and "God bless you!" to the other one after she sneezed. Now the third one that arrived today was everything I would hope for and expect from an employee at a children's playplace. She was the youngest of the three so maybe the world has yet to be cruel to her and break her spirit, but I wish all employees were as nice and friendly as she was. Okay, going back to the attItude thing: - NO outside food or drink is allowed (aside from bottles/baby food). There are MANY signs but it was not enforced in the slightest - Doors were left open so my wandering and curious kid went into the party room, the supply closet with cleaners - No employee seemed to be observing the play area at any time in the 2.5 hours I was there - The snacks/drink cooler is accessible to any child that can stand. It's incredibly inconvenient but they didn't bat an eye at kids grabbing drinks they could reach and trying to walk aware before a parent made them put it back. So just be aware that many many many toddler hands could have touched it before you purchase it. - Theres a half door separating the play area and the front door with no security method in place. My 1 year old constantly pushed the half door open to make a run for the front door - Access to behind the counter (and into the kitchen, etc) is also easily accessible by a 1 year old Okay now regarding the play area: - I really like what they have to offer for the toddler area - Even though it's not for adults it's easy to access if your kid gets stuck/scared in the big kid area - Probably disgustingly dirty but no real signs of it - Kids love it! Make sure to create a playgroup 24hrs in advance with at least 5 kids to go Mon-Thurs for half price

We attended our cousin's daughter's first birthday party here. The place was pretty nice and spacious. Their pizza was also pretty good. The play area is nice and spacious. Big enough for kids and adults to play in it. We did bring our neice, so don't get any weird things flying around in your head. There's also an arcade corner for the kids too. It's definitely a dope place to be if you're a kid. Heck, It sorta reminds me of the old Caesar Land from when we were growing up. Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!!!

My daughter loved it. Clean. Fun. Comfy chairs to sit in. Pizza was not good, chicken nuggets were ok.

Eating area is super easy and fast to setup.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I would definitely come back! The kids had such a blast, the eating area is so modular for last minute birthday changes. Super helpful and clean

We salvaged a rainy day by going to Rochester play. This is such a cool place for kids; my daughter had a blast and cried for ten minutes when we had to leave. The place was clean and the staff was very nice. My daughter is 2 and started off in the toddler section first but after mastering that, we headed to the other side and I joined her in the climbing and going through tunnels and rope ladders and the slides. We had an amazing time and cannot wait time come back. $10 for an all day pass is a fantastic price. You're allowed to leave and come back!

We were looking for some indoor fun on a gloomy day. This place is close to home, we have been many times and each time have had a great experience. I had my 3 loves with me. While my 2 oldest had a blast and broke many sweats my 11 mth old wasnt interested. While there are signs all over stating no shoes just socks on play area we did see a few people miss out on that memo. The carpet area was very dirty to the point I decided it would be better off for me not to let my daughter crawl on it. I still recommend visiting!

I first started going to this park back when Pokemon Go came out all those years ago. I had no idea what this park was all about until that first day I was playing Pokemon Go and just kept following the path on the game's map and then suddenly I looked up and realized I had walked through all of the park and into downtown...all a stone's throw away from my apartment! That started my long-term love affair with this park. I have so many fond memories in here catching Pokemon, but also coming back here with friends and with my dog for walks, playing on the play structures, glancing at the tennis courts and wondering if I should play a bit, hammocking because there are so many great hammocking trees scattered throughout the park, shopping through ARTS & APPLES, ones of the greatest festivals in metro Detroit, and so much more. This park has something for everyone and is also very accessible right off of Paint Creek Trail as well. Parking around here can be interesting, but now that I no longer live at the apartments directly across the street from this park, I find that parking at the Rochester Hills Public Library in downtown Rochester is my favorite option. There is a path that leads all the way behind the library, along the creek, to Paint Creek Trail, with an offshoot to the Rochester Municipal Park, all just a 5 minute walk from the library! In an area that features many great playgrounds and parks to take your family to, Innovation Hills has always stood out. There is a lack of options for younger children though (no infant swings?). The three stars? One of the new features of this park is the addition of Park Mobile being introduced for the main parking lot. Signs everywhere reminding you that you better have paid your $1.50 an hour! There is of course a free dirt lot across the busy road for your convenience. Or a parking 'annual pass' you can purchase from the Rochester Hills website. Our society struggles with the concept of 'the third place'. Parks and playgrounds are a haven for families and a community builder outside of work and home. What in the world is the motivation behind suddenly charging for parking? 1 - The City of Rochester Hills wants to prioritize park access for its citizens? Charging for parking doesn't keep out non-residents and in fact just causes Rochester Hills citizens to pay more for something they are already paying for. 2 - The park is often extremely crowded so charging for parking may reduce visitor count? If this was the motivation I am confident this strategy is not working. 3 - We want to encourage more families to park in the dirt lot across the street and attempt to cross a highway? I have more faith in humanity than that. Oh, I think I got it! To quote Tim Robinson's sketch 'The Driving Crooner' - "I gotta figure out how to make money on this thing..it's simply TOO GOOD!"
