From the moment I walked in for my consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. What stood out most was how caring and attentive Dr. Wolok was throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain every step of the procedure, ensuring I understood the technology and what to expect during the healing process. He truly listened to my concerns and made sure I felt comfortable before we even began. It is rare to find a provider who is so genuinely invested in their patient's well-being. His sincerity was most evident in the days following the treatment. He stayed in constant contact with me for several days afterward just to check on my progress and see how I was doing. Knowing he was only a message away gave me such peace of mind. If you are looking for a doctor who combines high-level expertise with a sincere, compassionate approach, look no further than Dr. Wolok. Even though the results for this type of procedure will become more evident over the next few months I can say that I am already very satisfied with how my skin looks now! But it's the exceptional care that I received that truly made this a 5-star experience!

Originally, my prescription was for 1 1/2 pills, which meant I had to split a pill each day. At my last routine physical, I mentioned to Dr. Kastl that I had been taking 2 pills instead because it wasn't always convenient to cut them, and the difference in dosage was minimal. She agreed and officially changed my prescription to 2 pills. Six months later, when I requested a refill, I was told I had to schedule a medication check before it would be approved. I scheduled and attended the appointment, which lasted about five minutes and involved no meaningful discussion or changes to my treatment. The following week, I received a $150 bill for that brief visit. I contacted Dr. Kastl multiple times to express my concern and pointed out that, based on my understanding of Michigan law and federal guidelines, the medication I take does not require a mandatory six-month follow-up. Rather than acknowledging my concerns or showing any empathy, my messages were dismissed by simply stating "it's our policy". In this situation, patient care took a back seat to billing. After being a loyal patient for years, I was extremely disappointed by how this was handled. I will not be returning to this practice and would encourage others to carefully consider their options when choosing a primary care provider.

I have severe health anxiety and felt extremely comfortable in Tracy's care. When I came to this office, I was already annoyed by the 20-30 min wait times before you're even called into a room. The office staff is never accountable or apologetic for anything. If anything, Rose and Gabby go out of their way to be petty. If there is an issue at the office they will never speak to you, they make other people call you back. Rose did a PA for a medication once, under my maiden name, after already giving them my new married name and new drivers license. I went round and round with the pharmacy and the office until I requested to see the PA approval form. Had Rose taken two seconds to speak to me about it, she would've realized her error. Instead she was rude to me via email correspondence, and made it seem like I was the reason for all of the confusion. Don't even get me started on the amount of times I have had my prescriptions sent to the incorrect pharmacy and 30 day refills after requesting 90 day refills for non-narcotic meds. I have lapsed in my medications that cannot be stopped abruptly 3 times because of their inefficiencies. When I spoke to the office mang., Brandy, regarding my frustration's of the office, her response was wild. She said and I quote "yah F*&k my life, I gave two many employees time off with checking to see who was off first". I myself work in a medical office and am appalled that the office mang speaks to patients in this way. Even after all of this, I stayed because Tracy is a WONDERFUL practitioner who actually listens to you. Well, today was the final straw. After being scheduled for med refill and bloodwork appt, I showed up for my appt, only to be told that HE'LL be in shortly. When I asked who "he" was, I was told Dr Patterson will be in to explain everything. I have historically only seen Tracy the NP, and had never even met Dr Patterson. Brandie the office mang never once said anything to me that my provider had changed, let alone that Tracy was no longer even a part of the practice. After waiting until 9:20am for my 8:40 appt, I walked out. I asked for a records release to sign as I was leaving and could hear the back office talking about me. How I just "walked out". Now that Tracy is gone, I will never return to this office. Dr Patterson is transitioning to concierge medicine and will now be requiring an annual fee for tiered patient care. I already pay my copays, deductibles, and coinsurances. I would never pay an annual fee for a Doctor who doesn't give a shit about how shitty his office runs or how they treat their patients.

It is, quite literally, the kind of place I have been looking for my whole life. Upon arrival, I was received pleasantly by the ladies in reception. My wait was short, and then Scott, who was just the most lovely human, triaged me and escorted me into a room where just moments later, my P.A. Lee came in and began talking to me about why I was there. I got introductions. I got time to explain my concerns and ask questions. I was listened to, and all my thoughts were validated and responded to. I felt like Lee and I were BOTH advocating for my wellness, as a team! My experiences at other doctor's offices in the past had always left me feeling rushed, unheard, and "quick fixed", which usually resulted in a prescription or two -- in and out -- despite my genuine desire to actually take an active role in my own wellness, including diet, exercise, supplements, hydration, etc. Not at Be Well! Here, Lee spent time with me, learned a little about who I am and how I view my wellness and my treatment, and worked with me inside those parameters. He was intelligent, laid back, easy to talk to, and professional. I felt this was the norm at this office and I feel reasonably sure that would be the case with any P.A. or doctor that works here. Lee approached the situation methodically, and we created a plan for testing and treatment. I left the room feeling confident that I was in good hands and that the plan would yield helpful information, as well as potential solutions. Check-out was as quick and easy as check-in was, and on my way out, I heard a voice call out to me, "Wait, don't leave yet! I turned to find Dr. Benson following me and offering a red carnation. "Happy Valentine's Day!" he said. Completely brightened my day and made me feel like more than just a patient. I cannot recommend Be Well Medical Center enough. I am so glad my cousin referred me. I am grateful to be under the care of people who actually care.

I have been going here since 1980 and a Dr. Rosenberg has been my doctor almost 30 years. They used to take walk-ins only but now I believe its only by appointment. You can get your prescription filled, have xrays, and EKG and allergy test and do many other tests all in one location making this a true one-stop shop. With this capability the doctor is able to make a diagnosis immediately in some cases. I truly love this place. Quite honestly this is the only place that I trust! Dr. Rosenberg is my favorite. He takes his time to explain things, listens well and is compassionate and caring. He really cares about his patients and all the staff. You can tell by the way he interacts with his coworkers that they truly respect him. Over the years I've had many encounters with him and the staff at Macomb Medical which were all good and sometimes even hilarious. I left my wedding ring in the bathroom once and called the office. There was no waiting on the phone line, immediately the staff put me on hold, stopped what they were doing and looked for my ring. It was a very scary time for me but I was definitely supported by the staff. I remember another time a couple years ago when I came to the office for something else but Dr. Rosenburg discovered I had an infection. I didn't feel or see anything so I decided not to take the antibiotics he prescribed. Sure enough, four days later I felt it. Today my appointment was at 8am and I was there for 2 hours...and no...I was not waiting like you would at most places. Dr. Rosenberg and his nurse took their time to find out what was wrong with me. I have nothing negative to say about this place and I would give it a 10 star if I could.

Avoid this place. They will see you for 5 minutes after you've been waiting loooooong past your scheduled appointment time. Multiple times we've waited for over an hour to be seen. This was not an isolated incident as it has happened consistently regardless of when the appt is scheduled (morning, afternoon, etc.). If the care we received was worth it, I don't think we'd mind waiting but in multiple visits the PA/NP (Nicole?) has been neither thorough nor compassionate. I wasn't going to leave a review but was truly shocked to see their high rating so felt I owed the community at large a fair warning. Stay away from this practice unless you are looking for a practice that wastes your time and gives you subpar care. There are better places in the nearby area (Troy, Birmingham) who will value your time and treat you with the compassionate care you deserve. If you are already a patient here, I encourage you to find another practice and potentially look into filing a formal complaint through LARA as well as your insurance company if your "care" was as subpar as ours has been, as I will be looking into. This is absolutely appalling. But at least the front office staff is pleasant! Kidding - they're incredibly rude and unhelpful - negativity attracts negativity. If you're a potential patient give them a call and see how helpful they are about your questions or scheduling before you commit to get a taste of what you'll be dealing with. Then time how long it takes to be seen.
