Finally pain-free! I had been in pain since I was 21 years old due to TMD (TMJ). The few specialists I could find at that time could do nothing more than open my bite a bit. I had given up looking for a solution until my previous dentist recommended Dr. Haddad. I am now chewing without pain for the first time in decades. The price was astronomical, ( I actually waited a year to get the financing together for the crowns and the nighttime appliances) but worth every penny. The offices are competently staffed, extremely clean and professionally run. Dr. Haddad was extremely helpful in keeping my stress levels down by prescribing me some meds before the work prepping the teeth was done. A special thank you to each member of his team. They are empathetic, understanding, and extremely skilled. My husband and I now use Rochester Advanced Dentistry for all our dental needs. read more

This is a very belated review. I began long and complicated work a couple of years ago, with Dr. Doolin and Danielle, and completed with great results just before Dr. Doolin retired. I now continue with the practice for maintenance, with the same impressions I've had all along. I can't recommend the practice highly enough for anyone, but especially for dentist-avoiding patients as you feel at ease and pain-free whatever the procedure-from expert cleaning, cavities, extractions, to bone graft and implants, etc. Also, clear instructions, careful follow-up, and availability for questions or the unexpected. I feel that all the team is exceptional in terms of skill, know-how, and professionalism while having a consistently friendly and caring approach to patients. read more

Had wonderful care provided by Dr. Daws and Danielle this week. I'm getting up in age now and had some dental work that was close to 40 years old. While no one wants to do preventative work, I knew it was time to have 3 crowns replaced before they became real issues. I had totally painless prep, perfectly fitting temporary crowns and perfectly tinted porcelain replacement crowns all done in two quick visits. Have been a patent of Dr. Doolin for close to 30 year, its hard to go to different doctor, Dr. Daws and Danielle are an awesome team. Thank you! Mike B. read more

My experience at this office was a total nightmare. I paid what I felt was a pretty substantial amount of money, which they insisted had to be paid upfront, to have upper and lower implant bridges. Throughout this almost two year experience, a few of the implant posts on both the top and bottom became extremely painful, due to failure. Some of the posts were replaced some were not. I was told "these things are over-engineered" that it would be fine with a few missing posts. When I was told my bridges were done, I questioned this as I remembered when the lower bridge was last worked on I was told it was only temporary. But Dr. Doolin insisted that both the top and bottom were made of zirconium and I was done. Five to six months later I felt that familiar pain, one of my implants on the bottom was failing. I made an appointment to come in. Yes, the implant was failing. Dr. Doolin, who previously did my work, had retired so I was on my own. Nobody at their office does implants since Dr. Doolin retired. But they did recommend an oral surgeon to fix the problem that I would have to pay for. I decided to find another dentist to see what was really going on. It turns out that the lower bridge was temporary, just made of plastic, and because the posts that fell out were not replaced it put too much stress on the bridge, which according to the new dentist made it bound to fail. Instead of six posts on the bottom it only had four. My husband and I sat down with Cristina and Rita who did acknowledge the problem, but didn't offer any kind of solution, they seemed to want us to come up with something. We told them that we would be back in touch with them when we could figure things out. While we were working things out with the new dentist to determine what this was going to cost, we got shut down by Rochester Advanced Dentistry, who now referred everything to their attorney. We can't even talk to them anymore. I have a signed five year guarantee from Rochester Advanced Dentistry, that apparently isn't worth the paper it's printed on. To top everything off, just before starting the surgery to fix the problem, the lower bridge broke in two, right in front near the failed implant. The pain was absolutely horrendous. Fortunately, my new dentist, Dr. Nazarian with Premier Dental Center, who is absolutely amazing, was able to get me in right away. I truly can't understand how you can treat a patient as poorly as they have treated me. If I would have just gotten what I paid for (the correct number of posts and a zirconium bridge) none of this would have happened. I guess dollars mean more than a person's pain and suffering. read more

I had an appointment with Rochester advanced dentistry to address a chipped earlier. I was referred to them by my dentist. After sitting with the hygienist for a pre-appointment appointment, it dawned on me that they had no interest in repairing my tooth and wanted to talk about other very costly procedures they could do. I never saw a dentist. Extremely disappointing. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about Rochester Advanced Dentistry. I've been a patient here for about two months now and my experience has been great from the start. I came to the office for TMJ issues that I had been experiencing for years and was met with so much kindness and understanding. It was a big step for me to start treatment for many reasons, but it has been well worth the time and cost investment! Every single staff member I have interacted with has left me more and more impressed. Cristina especially ensured that my husband and I fully understood my treatment options and was a huge part of us feeling confident in our decision to move forward. Dr. Daws has been so patient in treating me and always takes the time to explain everything we're doing which I love. Each hygienist that has assisted with my treatment has been considerate and friendly, and the front desk staff is very knowledgeable and always makes me feel welcome. If you're considering RAD for any kind of treatment, I can't recommend it enough! read more

Rochester Advanced Dentistry - Veneers - Cosmetic Dentists Near Me - Rochester, Michigan

I was asked mid-way through my orthodontics to provide a review as they had not done much ortho and wanted some reviews in that area. I declined at the time, telling them that I would like to wait until the end. I was already not happy with my experience but was hoping to be happy with my results. Now that my ortho is "completed", I am willing to give my review. First, let me just say that I adore Rachael (Dr. Haddad's Dental Assistant) as a person and have attempted to not say anything bad about her but a large part of my bad experience relates to her, so I must. I had NEVER had any jaw pain ever in my 34 years of life prior to braces. In fact, that is the reason I waited so long to get them, I wanted to avoid TMJ. Dr. Haddad touted his knowledge of TMJ so I felt comfortable getting braces with him. Four months into ortho, I started having significant jaw pain (burning, popping/clicking/grinding). When I say significant pain, please know I have a crazy high pain tolerance. I told Dr. Haddad and he wrote off my pain telling me it was related to a stressful situation with a foster/adoptive child we had in our home. Over a year, I told him twice more and was brushed off. I finally had to bark back reminding him that I had NEVER had jaw pain and telling them that I had been really stressed in the past with no pain. He finally agreed to adjust my bite and made a big difference in my pain level. I still had pain but it had gotten better. There is no doubt in my mind that my pain is due to ortho. Gaps were left in my teeth. I would have NEVER agreed to braces if I would have known I would have gaps. I was told several different stories about why the gaps were left. Regardless of why, the average person would assume they would have straight teeth with no gaps after braces. I was told by Rachael that the gap on the bottom would close. I even offered to remain in the lower braces longer to make sure it would. I was reassured that the gap would close and had the braces removed. The gap didn't close. When I asked to have it fixed. I was told the lower gap didn't close because my teeth are "plastic" (fillings). Really? Four months into ortho I had straight teeth with no gaps so I know it was possible for my teeth to look good. They decided to continue expanding which created the gaps. I had several teeth chip on brackets. I don't think my bite was ever correct because my teeth were hitting on brackets. Teeth vs. metal, metal wins. I also had a large piece of my top left molar broken off by Rachael while she was removing my brackets. I was floored when I saw such a large piece of tooth come out of my mouth and went to reach for it. Rachael quickly swept it away stating that it was "just a molar build up". While flossing later I realized my molar build ups were intact but a large part of my tooth was missing. My gums were cut to the point of bleeding during a wire change. Rachael was having difficulty removing a wire with a pointy tool, her hand slipped and the tool dug into my gums. Each time my wires were changed, they were left much too long and jagged toward my cheek. Rachael would torque her wrist and pull (my husband does metal failure analysis for a living), instead of a clean cut. I went back a few times to have them trimmed because the pain was too much. I was just told to use wax. I purchased the tool used to trim wires and my husband (without any dental training) was able to easily trim them each time so they didn't hurt. On my last and final visit to Dr. Haddad. we discussed my jaw pain and he literally told me that my jaw hurts because I am a different person than I was. SMH. I give up. I wish I had done research regarding orthodontics and chosen someone with more experience. I am going to write off my experience as stupid tax for not looking into things more. I have since been to a new dentist that immediately noticed that I have a bite slide and my bite is not connecting on the right. I am so beyond disappointed. I paid $5500.00 to Rochester Advance to fix my bite and I just have different bite problems, left jaw pain that radiates up to my temple and down into my neck, and broken/chipped teeth. All of which I am having fixed elsewhere. Lastly, please disregard any positive fluff that they may post as a response. I have attempted on several occasions (verbally and written) to resolve this and they have made it quite clear they are not interested in fixing these issues. read more

I went to Dr Haddad because I have a dislocated jaw and the. I had continuous headaches and wore a night guard made by my previous dentist that did not help my situation. The staff has made me feel very comfortable. They have been very empathetic and compassionate to my situation and have helped me get through my anxiety going through the treatment they set up for me. I have wore the piece they made for my mouth to help my jaw for 2 weeks and all my headaches are gone. I'm excited to see how my jaw will continually heal through the help of this office. I highly recommend this office. I'm blessed to have found them. By the way, I drive 4 hours total just to seek the help of this office. Tina Awood read more

Cleaning,exam,x-rays,plan. Thank you Sue and Dr. Tironi for your care and concern, good explanations and excellent workmanship.

Dr. Doolin and his team were amazing. I couldn't be happier with the results. Smile looks amazing.

I am 48 years old and have suffered from horrific migraines and jaw pain (TMJ Disorder) since my early 20's. I have seen other dentists and specialists and have had no success. I had a friend recommend Dr. Haddad and I went to see him a little over a month ago. Since then I have been fitted with a customized mouth appliance that I wear 24/7. After wearing it just 2 days I felt relief and after wearing it just two weeks I have had no jaw pain at all and hardly any migraines!!!! I am almost at (happy) tears writing this because the migraines and jaw pain were ruining my life and now thanks to Dr. Haddad and his amazing team I am almost completely pain free! He and his entire staff are so knowledgeable, compassionate and they make you feel like family. I couldn't be happier. I hope this helps someone who is suffering and needs help because you will definitely find the help you need. read more

Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do (and I know I am not alone). After many failed attempts to find a dentist I liked - I made an appointment at Rochester Advance Dentistry (my entire family goes there and always raved about them). After my first appointment, I knew I finally found my dentist. Dr. Doolin, Dr. Haddad and Dr. Tironi are awesome, along with the entire staff (especially Katie!). I would recommend Rochester Advanced Dentistry to anyone. read more

So far so good. I started with their services in September due to having jaw, neck pain and headaches really bad to the point of having headaches in and out throughout the day, and mornings. I noticed my sleep was a problem too as I had difficulty closing my mouth. I had braces in my childhood for over 3yrs and had a lot of teeth removed resulting in my jaw not aligned properly. I also have anxiety that causes me to clinch my teeth, which can happen anytime at night or during the day without my awareness. Since going to Rochester Advanced Dentistry I have seen great improvements as I am still seeing them but my pain had decrease, sleep has gotten better, and increase awareness of when I clinch my jaw all from wearing a lower mouth orthotic that is clear, easy to take on and off, and easy to clean and I can function with it, especially with communication is a big part of my day with work. This has made a difference, even with the alignment of my teeth as I can feel it working when I remove the orthotic. The team is very friendly and explains everything to me. I remember I had a hard time at first adjusting to the orthotic and they gave me so much reassurance and support. I would highly recommend them for resolving TMJ issues. I am still going to them but I am glad that I went to the right place for this issue. read more

I cracked a tooth this morning at breakfast, my friends at Rochester Advanced Dentistry got me in late morning for exam and e-rays. Since it required a root canal before cap repair, arranged for Endo appointment in afternoon and that part is done. Dr. Haddad and his assistant were both amazing. I am a wimp when it comes to dentist and this doctor is extremely gentle, and spent the time upfront communicating with me so I would feel at ease. I had a crown (one visit) done with absolutely no pain or discomfort whatsoever. I didn't even feel pain from the shots of Novacaine. You can tell these two are very experienced working together and I highly recommend Dr. Haddad. Also, I have had Katie clean my teeth since I came here 4 years ago and she is amazing! For the first time in 40 years, I think my fear of dentistry has been put to rest. read more
