I contacted Aaron on July 13, stating that the tree appeared dead, and again on August 2, 2022. I notified him again on September 19, 2022, that the tree was dead or in distress and that I wanted it replaced or my money refunded. On September 22, he said he would come out and look. However, he explained to me that he was just the "frontman" and Eduardo was the actual person who knew about plants/trees. Arron came to my home on September 26 and took pictures to show Eduardo. I also sent several pictures in July, August, and Sept. On September 27, Aaron said the tree might be dormant early because it had no leaves. I stated that the leaves had fallen off 40 days prior, and the tree was dead. He suggested that I wait until this Spring for him to replace the tree. He wrote, "I would not feel comfortable with [tree replacement] until the Spring due to the temperatures at night next week with the wind could be freezing. Then the plant would not survive the winter." Therefore, I contacted him on May 14, 2023 (still Spring), to replace the tree. He said he wouldn't because the tree was no longer under warranty. According to him, the warranty ended May 10, 2023, and I had not notified him about the tree being dead within the warranty time. I was not presented with explanations of the warranty. Nor do I feel it is even a factor since he and I have had continuous contact about replacing the tree since last summer. Most importantly, this individual kept putting me off and coming up with reasons not to replace the tree and then told me he couldn't honor the warranty because I missed the window by four days. Also, upon engaging services, I wrote the check to the company name. Aaron returned the check and asked for it to be made out to him personally. I questioned that and why he was not charging me Ohio Sales Tax. He said he was in the process of switching banks, and he was having problems doing so. He also said he'd 'take care' of 'backing out' the tax. AND Arron kept harping on my cursing! I used the word bullshit. I have filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's Office.
