My son has been a patient for the last few years (he has perfect teeth and has only had cleanings…read moreevery 6 months). This practice is professionally managed, has excellent dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff. They listen, are attentive and my son is NOT afraid to go to the dentist, thank goodness. With that said, it DOES take 6 months to get your initial cleaning appointment, so they are not a last minute, broke my tooth on the weekend dentist unless you are an established patient. If you make an initial appointment, keep it. You won't get a cancellation or another appointment for 6 months. When you have a cleaning, schedule your next one before leaving the appointment or you won't get one until 6 months after you call to schedule your next appointment. They aren't open every day of the week, either. If you can handle all of this - schedule with them, they are worth it.

We love our dentist!…read more Honestly, it was just dumb luck that brought me and my daughter to the Oxford Smile Center a couple years ago. We had moved to the area and didn't want to drive an hour to our previous dentist. Every hygiene appointment and visit with the dentist has been great. My daughter had a cavity filled when she was five, and the dentist and assistant made sure she was very comfortable. She's since reassured other friends that getting the 'mosquito bite' shot and filling aren't that bad at all. We tried our first appointment for my son last year when he was barely two. He didn't let them do much, but they were also careful not to upset him. He's since visited with us and he's not afraid of the office. I'd highly recommend Dr Khoury and his staff. I'm starting off 2020 with clean and healthy teeth thanks to the amazing staff! My 3 year old has also been to Orion Oaks for her first dental experience and loved it! They did, however, refer her to a pediatric dentist. Their bedside (chair side?) manner is wonderful. I always feel comfortable and confident that I'll be taken care of with respect. Their office is shared with a salon but easy to locate off Clarkston Rd with plenty of parking. They do contact your insurance to verify coverage but additionally make you sign a document stating you will be responsible for treatment if it's not covered. What I appreciate most is that the document provides an estimated cost based on your treatment, which is helpful so you're not surprised with a bill you cannot pay (which may have happened at my last dentist). They have sunglasses available if you need, and a small TV to watch from your chair. Everyone is kind and seems genuinely friendly to one another. Dr. White has checked my teeth at each visit. I admire his commitment to his career and his patients. He is knowledgeable, not pushy on treatment that's needed (I put off getting some cavities filled and his office called to remind me but was not rude when I originally declined scheduling). He also appears to be honest and has never suggested a service I do not need (unlike other dentists I've been to). For some it may seem odd but I enjoy going to the dentist. Especially now as a patient at Orion Oaks.
