I had a cleaning apt and had a 103.5 fever. My husband called to cancle my appt was told either I come in and prove I'm sick or pay $50 no show fee for not canceling 48 hours in advance. I wasn't sick 48 hours in advance. We were threatened to either pay it or it will be sent to collections. She was rude and hostile. We have spent thousands of dollars there and never missed a payment. We are no longer patients. read more

Deserves negative stars but cant do that. Put my sons braces on WRONG - had to remove them (by ripping them off his teeth) and putting them back on same day. This was after waiting 2.5 hours. His braces broke the VERY NEXT DAY - and we had to drive to the Clinton township office which is 40 mins away as opposed to 2 mins away. Cancelled almost every single appoint we had ever made for his braces and prolonged his braces by literal months because they couldn't get us in for an extra 3 weeks at a time every single time they cancelled. Had an appointment they cancelled to get braces off (was supposed to be the day my son had school pictures so cool) they told me to if i could get him in there in the next hour, they would do it. My bf left work, got my son there in 35 minutes and they told him they never said to come in (the receptionist never wrote us down or told anyone) - screamed at my bf and my son. Front desk receptionist Alana is very rude, abrasive and mean. As the front desk personnel, you are the face, first encounter and main point of contact of the business. Her attitude makes me not want to return to this establishment. On top of being rude she will go out of her way to inconvenience you. MAJOR UPDATE! As we moved practices, my daughters new dentist found 3 infected root canals that Tina and her staff performed, 2 teeth that I was told were fine, completely rotting away and now she needs another root canal, the root canals that were performed were not only infected but when I took my daughter to U of M he had stated that they completely destroyed the Fran of the tooth and drilled more than what was necessary and that the tooth would have to be removed now and it's her ADULT tooth. Now my baby girl at 13 is already getting her first a daily tooth removed and my heart is broken. I will be sueing for the $5,000 I paid her upfront. I HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT PAYING IN FULL. My teens both got braces here and while initially we were pleased, as time went on the long wait times made us all dread appointment days. I'm talking hours sometimes. Fast forward, they got their braces off and their teeth look good. My son got a retained and has been wearing it consistently. We decided to try Dr Tina for dental work and recently she did fillings on my son. That was an extraordinarily painful experience that also took half his day. He came home in tears (age 17) and begged not to ever go back there. I said ok except his retainer felt weird after the fillings and wasn't fitting right. I stopped in yesterday and talked to the receptionist who was friendly and told me this was normal after fillings and he could come by today and get the retainer adjusted easily. So my son went to a noon appointment on time and finally was seen over an hour later. It was a two minute quick thing to adjust his retainer. My son went to checkout and was told he owed $100!! For a two minute retainer adjustment. He called me immediately and told me what was going on and I asked to speak to the clerk. She was rude and told me it was $100 and she had nothing else to say to me. I explained that his retainer fit, he had fillings, and then it didn't fit. I also said I was never told the fee and should have been told before hand. We were always told how much it cost to replace brackets and paid the fee when he broke one off and (much less than this!!!!). She stated again that she had no new information for me and that it was $100. I will not be returning here and I can't believe we stayed so long. I have two more children that need braces and we will be going elsewhere. I am so sorry to write this as we did put up with a lot of nonsense and tried to be supportive and patient but enough is enough. read more

Well, figure on spending your whole day there. The staff is very nice. The kid atmosphere is great...prizes and gifts galore. The price for braces for my kid was amazing. 1/2 the price of other ortho's. BUT, the wait is UNGODLY. One hour to get from the lobby to a room and another 1/2 hour to 45 min to get a doc to adjust and look at the braces. It took 2 hours for a simple bracket and adjustment. You could almost check in and go get a bite to eat and come back. If you have the time, it's a great dentist. If time is more important, find someone else. read more

I'm in pain as I type this as a result from her inept "care". What the hell! I too have shared concerns with Dr. Marshall with NO RESPONSE. Her office reminds one of a three ring circus. The wait is long, and the whole building is filthy and in need of many repairs that remain neglected and ship shod. It matches the experience one will have there. Don't come here unless you like to wait an hour in the waiting room and then another hour once they get you in a room for them to get to you and finish what they need to do. I had a cavity filling and they left me alone in a room after drilling holes in my teeth for 30 minutes to tend to another patient and fill a script. I have anxiety going to the dentist and this experience definitely did not help. The staff is very kind and the receptionists are very kind with how much they obviously have to deal with, being overbooked all the time. Please do better! Been seeing DrTina for a couple of years. The ease of getting an urgent appointment is great... she has a couple of openings every day for emergencies! She offers discounts for cash. She has great customer service and supports the community. As far as "religion" goes... I personally support her (and anyone else) the RIGHT to warship however they seem fit. They play gospel music in the office... so what? All this fuss about "cult" is hateful rhetoric... shame on anyone who would bash a business owner for playing the music of their choice. Been there several times over the last few years, and every time their patient care has gotten progressively worse. Their time management is abhorrent, and they do not offer any explanation or compensation. I have had to reschedule twice now because I wait for an hour and a half before even being seen by the dentist. They simply don't seem to care, but seem more concerned about offering coupons just to get patients in the door! There is no respect or consideration of a patient's time. Both times I had to reschedule, I had taken a 1/2 day off of work as a hair stylist, and when I don't see clients I don't get paid. Also, hubby had to take off work early to help with our children. They don't seem to understand the impact of their poor office management. Stay clear of this place!! read more

I've been going to Tina Marshalls for about a year. Now put a little over. They've done nothing but fantastic work and honest and up front with me. Have you had no problems really? But those were ironed out. I know the staff now pretty well I. Enjoy talking with them. I Can be an impatient person most times. However, like everybody else they're very busy. It's got a lot going on and sometimes it happens. But overall, I love the place I was always afraid to go to the dentist. I always hated the dentist when I look forward to going to see them. That's why they get a 5 star ways for me. And I've had 3 root canals, 10 feelings. Where can I get in the partials? Put in one side and I'm happy. The price is right and they've always been good with me. But in fact I haven't got my botox through them. Just because you can't have a bad experience. You can't let that detour give it another try. Don't be afraid to mention it. Be nice. Tell them what the problem is that you can that. You're concerned about. They will resolve it. Nothing can be resolved unless you ask. Or tell them if your concerns. I've learned that through life and especially through them. And they completely are communicating with me on everything but you need to ask and you need to say and it will all get worked out. I recommend them highly. And understand that everybody has a good day. They have to smile all day long and sometimes that's hard sometimes it's hard to leave things outside the door but you know what they do a d*** good job. Overall, the front staff. Everybody, the patient is hard but try being the person doing all the work for you. That's even harder. 8 hours of smiling and being nice. I couldn't do it Tina Marshall. Went in for a routine cleaning. Was having a pleasant conversation with the attendant until I mentioned having just got my covid booster.. This must have triggered her as her entire demeanor changed. She proceeded to take an obscene amount of snaps, half of which were pointed directly through my neck and other odd angles I've never had before (forehead anyone?). As she walked out the door her parting comment was: " He's worried about covid? Now he has cancer. ". Unprofessional is an understatement... Malignant negligence doesn't seem strong enough wording either. I feel I must warn others: If you value your health, seek services elsewhere. read more

After moving I had to find a new dentist. I had been seeing Dr. Marshall since she took over the practice a few years ago. I always went for check-ups and cleanings regularly. First visit to new dentist the dentist immediately saw from the x ray that I had two failed root canals that were infected. He told me it looked like they had been that way for a while. Interesting to think Dr. Marshall did not recognize this. I am lucky the infection did not go into my bone, it could have been really bad. Since then I had to see two specialists $$$ and now finally have one bridge in place. I still have to have another bridge made for the second infected tooth that was removed but now have to wait because I have exhausted my dental insurance for the year already. read more

This place did work that wasn't needed. An X-ray that wasn't needed. I have good insurance so it paid for it all. But I am still thinking about bringing a lawsuit against them for billing my insurance company for work that was not needed. For my upper dentures they were 30% more @ Dr Tina Marshall's office, then at my new dentist Dr. John Blake. I took a $200 loss to leave Dr Tina Marshall office. read more
