Honestly the worst attorney to ever use on any real estate deal. We used him 13 years ago on the…read morepurchase of our home and he missed violations and numerous other issues. He was awful. Then we went back to the law offices that had him working for them; when they asked us to use him again I balked; told them he was horrible and I did not want to use him again. They asked me to give him another chance. I reluctantly did and it was absolutely the worst experience. When we went to refinance our home (he was the purchasing attorney), all the violations came up again. He took 6 weeks just to find out and look for the paperwork for the old purchase and resolve the issue. Thankfully I had old emails pertaining to the issues from before. Because of him, I had to resubmit all of the documents again to get approved a second time for the refinance since too much time had passed. Then he worked on the purchase of an investment property. We discussed making sure the seller was out of the property or paid rent if he wasn't when we closed. Fred was not at the closing and we ended up paying the mortgage on the property for a week while the seller was still on the premises. Over $1000 lost there. He also said he would come up with a way to have the real estate agent who promised me a rebate, pay it. But then at the end he said he couldn't yet I I have found evidence online that this could have been done. I lost $10,000 there. If you want to lose money and still pay for a negligent attorney then hiring him might be good for you. But I would recommend to anyone the seller's attorney who showed at the closing that he knew what he was doing and protected his client.

My financial situation will always haunt me knowing that I could have hired almost anybody else and be in a better situation than I am. Tried to sue him for malpractice but this slimy attorney got himself off the hook. He's a piece of garbage who cares nothing about his clients.

We hired Mr.Brill's firm to represent us in an educational related case, to which his website…read morestates is one of their specialties. Over the course of almost 2 years, there was no progress made in our case, and the case is still active. They were fast to take us on as a client, but then communication became next to nothing over the course of our tenure with them. Every 2-3 months we would follow up with case status but there was nothing to report, and we were told to sit tight. After about 2 years, we decided to change firms and asked for all correspondence related to the case and the investigator, but Brill's firm could not produce any informative emails or updates with the investigator. Most of the communication was "calls" and "voicemails", but nothing that showed progress or an attempt to bring closure. Brill's firm is either too busy (likely) or doesn't care enough (possible) to help with cases deemed "less significant" to them. In short, 2 years later we're in the same spot we were, and we are currently evaluating new representation. If we could go back, we would have paid the premium (higher cost) for other attorneys who we interviewed with who seemed more invested in our case.

We talked for 30' asking different questions about my case and she told me that she was going to email me with a questionaire to fill out and send back. I was looking my emails every day. She never got back to me. On 09/12/2025 I've called them back to ask if they had my email address written wrong. The receptionist followed the same routine as I was contacting them for the first time. She forwarded me to the same laywer and she started asking me the same exactly questions. When I told her if they are interested in my case, she replied we don't do cases like yours and we can refer you to another laywer, although they had originally told me that they were interested. She continued asking the same exactly questions we've been already through. So, I finally told her to stop wasting my time and I will find another laywer that will be interested in me and not only to the size of the case. I've found it totally unprofessional. My general experience from them was that they were not listening to what I had to say. ANd when I was talking they were only thinking of what to reply to me.
