They let you trial it for a month, and during that time, they give the kids a belt and get them excited so you'll sign up for the year. A few weeks after that, my son completely lost interest and threw a fit every time we made him go. I called to see if we could work something out, and they told me the best they could do was to let me pay for another 7 months (over $900) to "buy out" the agreement. I told them I didn't want to pay for something I wasn't going to and didn't want to use, and they threatened to send me to collections. We ended up limping through the rest of the year, going some of the time, but it was a very negative experience. Not to mention that for the younger kids, this is glorified gym class at best. Once upon a time they cared about the kids and Josh was a hands on, skilled and caring instructor. It was very rare that Todd the owner would ever stop in. Maybe he couldn't be bothered? Who knows. It sure felt like he couldn't be bothered. Josh made that place tolerable. Again, it once felt half way decent, until Josh left. That was a huge loss.
