I never dreamed that I would end up needing a lawyer, but I did. One night, while riding my bicycle, I crashed into a concrete post that was placed right smack in the middle of a bicycle path. Despite using my light, the post just blended into the pavement making it impossible to see. The impact shattered the bones in my face, broke my forehead, and knocked out four teeth. I also lost my sense of smell among other things. These injuries required that I undergo multiple surgeries and incur hundreds of thousand dollars in medical bills. After I got out of the hospital, I returned to the accident location to figure out what happened. I confirmed what I had previously thought. The concrete post was nearly invisible to see at night. It was very unsafe, and the accident was definitely not my fault. Not knowing who to call, I got in touch with my family lawyer, Patricia Brown. Mr. Robson immediately realized that the engineering firm who designed the concrete post didn't include any warning devices such as reflective tape on the post or lane markings on the bicycle path. Despite what I thought was hands down a negligent design of the concrete post, the insurance adjuster for the engineering firm only offered to pay a fraction of my medical bills as a settlement. The trial lasted four days, included seven witnesses, and hundreds of exhibits. My lawyers proved the truth so well that the jury awarded me $2.3 million. My attorneys knocked it out of the park. We had insurance through USAA, and we needed them to help us by paying Personal Injury Protection benefits. I was referred to Robson Law Firm by a former coworker who had used them on two occasions. They came to me to see if they could assist me with an accident I had involving two other cars. I was the car in the middle so I had minor front end damage but severe rear end damage. I suffered pain as a result of being rear ended. Due to the fact that I gave a statement to the insurance company saying I couldn't remember everything that occurred immediately after the accident, they were refusing to cover my medical bills and future treatments for my back. I first contacted the Robson Law Firm when I had an issue with a company that had reneged on a promise to pay for my damaged Jeep SRT. You see, this guy hit me from behind in his work truck. We exchanged info, but he wanted me to hold off on filing a claim with his insurance because his rates would go up. I'm a nice guy, so I said OK. BIG MISTAKE! DON'T BE A NICE GUY! I got an estimate from my dealer's body shop and sent it to the company in Dallas. They said OK-go ahead and fix it and they would reimburse me. So I had the Jeep fixed, put it on my credit card, and sent the company the bill. The company refused to pay it!
