These guys are great. My attorney was Mrs Rachael Klipp. She was fantastic. I was going through a rough time when my accident occurred, if fact the morning of the accident I was on my way to my first day of a much needed new job (which I clearly didn't make it to work that day).......She was genuinely concerned with my well being. Mrs. Klipp and others from the firm kept me very up to date on all aspects of what was happening. She even called me a few times just simply to check up on me, and see how I was feeling (knee/hip/back/arm pain). I had a few questions here and there in which I would send her emails to ask. If I could give zero stars I would. Please if you know what's best do not and I repeat do not trust this lawyer with anything. My mother was in an accident 6/16/2026 , she reached out to them, and they have slowed the process of her case for 2yrs and then 6/23/2026 at the very end they tried to give her less than what she should have due all their fees, their partnerships with other companies . At one point she didn't even have a person to speak to regarding her case and not once did they update her she has always had to follow up with them for everything; and now they want her to sign a settlement where she gets nothing. She can't work, she has been needing the money, and they have companies and fees that she personally could make arrangements with, but no they are thieves in a suit with the worst communication ever with their clients. At no point did they depose her, set the case for court, or anything. She would have been better off contacting the insurance company herself and settling. Don't let your family be railroaded by this company they are the devil themselves and they call themselves reputable. Don't trust them with your case or with your families. read more

No communication from the lawyer himself. He was very rude when I talked to him. I had to negotiate for myself to get a higher settlement (8,000) more. If he had kept telling me they were offering a fair settlement...bull I had 2 broken tailbones. They also screw you with all the "extra" fees, which they could not explain what each one was. In one year and some months, I had 8 representatives from this firm. You will do alot of your own leg work, and a whole lot of calling to there office staying on Top of your case. As someone with a legal background, I find Ted Lorenz advertising walking a fine line. Mr. Lorenz often uses the word "Win," with respect to amounts paid to clients. He also mentions "life changing results." Aside from the distasteful notion that your misfortune is like winning the lottery, Texas Disciplinary Rules Comment [10], statements about past achievements "may be misleading if presented so as to lead a reasonable person to form an unjustified expectation that the same results could be obtained for other clients in similar matters." Calling a settlement a "win" suggests a complete victory when settlements inherently involve compromise. Rule 7.01 prohibits statements that create unjustified expectations about results a lawyer can achieve. Before hiring this firm, ask the lawyer assigned to your case how many cases they have personally litigated and "won" a jury award. Ask for specific examples. Also, legal fees are negotiable and must be reasonable. Don't be pressured or shy about discussing this aspect of your arrangement. Litigating requires much more work, so fees should therefore be less for settlements. To be fair, settling is often the wise move depending on the facts of your case. Lastly, Ted Lorenz touts striving for "5-Star" reviews in recent commercials. While it may be noble to say this and possibly confuse the issue, it's another thing to actually earn them. read more

After our accident we set up a meeting with Lorenz & Lorenz. They promptly sent someone out(not an attorney) who informed us they could represent my wife but not me until the report came back showing me not at fault.. All good.. Well, the report came back and appeared to show me at fault. Before I even found out the report was in, Lorenz & Lorenz apparently already had a copy but didn't notify us, they dropped my wife as well. No notice ahead of time, no conversation, nothing. Funny thing is if they had done due diligence, they'd still be on the case. The Report did not have me at fault just a procedural error. My conclusion is that the instant they didn't see enough $, they bolted, making me believe they weren't really there to advocate for us, just the paycheck. I have a new attorney who has stayed with us through this and is now handling our claims. Beware. read more

I'm updating my review. If you decide to use Lorenz and Lorenz, please request documents before signing off to receive your check. I got screwed. They still will not provide documents to show how they came up with the figures shown for their bill. I had to request my physical therapy bills. They requested for me to go to Austin Total Healthcare for physical therapy, and they refused to provide the bill but provided my medical problems. The staff was nice, but I mainly received ice packs and a massage for PT. My doctor recommended Results PT, and they provided great service and the bill. The lawyer lied about the amount paid for physical therapy for Results. They also took credit for bills that they did not pay. They paid for PT, the EMS, and the hospital bill. They did not pay for my other medical bills or medication. I had to pay out of pocket for all doctor appointments and medication. I could not afford an MRI because I had to charge my credit cards for medical bills. I recently had one because I told them that my shoulders hurt, especially my right, and they would not pay for the exam. I had surgery to repair my rotator cuff and bicep tendon on 5/26/24 as a result of the wreck and may need surgery on the left. I will not be able to afford that surgery until next year because I had to once again charge my credit cards. My cuff and bicep were hanging on by one tendon each. I have permanent neck, shoulders, back and knee injuries because of the wreck and only got a little over $4000 and this was after I complained. They more than likely received more money but refused to show me the check that they received. I was told that I did not have a choice but to sign to receive the check. The lawyer gave it to me and left without further information and told me not to get into another accident. I was rear-ended by a guy who was looking at his phone. I want to file a complaint against them. read more

Run don't walk away from this firm. The attorney working my case after presenting me with a settlement amount that I rejected and told him the bare min that I would take he ran the "number" and told me that in mediation we would have to get to 50 to get the amount I stated would settle for. We got to mediation in which the opposing party settled at 49K which the Attorney Wilson told me not to blow the deal over 1k and he would insure that I got the the settlement amount that I had told him. After the agreement was reached it took the attorney took 3 weeks to send a settlement agreement which was approximate the amount I had rejected from the attorney originally I emailed and called him with no response except repeated docsign sent trying to get me to settle for lest that I stipulated - I was promised numerus times that he would call have calls by the end of the day which never happened. The amount that I rejected was approximate 5k less than what the attorney ran the "numbers" and I accepted based on his representation accepted in good faith the settlement agreement, and they continue to hold my settlement hostage waiting for me to bend to their scheme. Mr. Wilson assured me that that he would get me my stipulated funds. Yeah run away from this firm don't walk, skip or hop take your business elsewhere. read more

I recently was involved with this company on behalf of someone in my family due to an accident caused by a speeding non alert driver. I tried several times to speak directly with Ted Lorenz because we were dissatisfied with the lawyer assigned and the lack of communication between the lawyer and client! Not once either through phone call or email did I get the courtesy from this company to talk directly with Ted Lorenz! The Lorenz law firm started out really well at assisting me with my case. Somewhere things went south real fast. I was just informed that you have only 30 days to amend a police report? The accident was on 10/10/24, on 11/19/24 is when I received a message asking if I had amended the police report?? For one thing, i was not informed it had to be amwnded & by that time the 30 days was past. The only report i received at the accident scene had our insurance information, date, time & place of accident. It does not say who us liable? Conversations went back & forth trying to confirm. I sent numerous pictures, of where i turned & was already in the correct lane when the accident occurred. On 2/4/25 i was informed of a change of attorney assigned to my case & that they were saying i was 80% liable?? Im very upset, confused & disheartened by his 'Im on top of it' BS. I was involved in a car accident where the driver that T boned my SUV was at fault. I had my police report and witnesses. Lorenz and Lorenz said it would be quickly resolved. 2 years later and five different Lorenz and Lorenz attorneys came and left the firm. No one ever passed on the information from one attorney to the other so I had to continuously have to explain myself. I am in a wheel chair, lost my job, and now dependant on other family members and all because a driver was not paying attention and on a cell phone. My SUV was only paid at blue book value to where I couldn't afford another SUV similar to what I had. My hospital bills where in the 40 to 50 thousand dollar amount. Lorenz stated to me that I should just settle for the other drivers full amount of liability insurance coverage which was 35 thousand. I was told that would be the max that I could receive unless it was a high dollar company truck. I asked what I would do for medical and unpaid bills. Lorenz and Lorenz said that by law that would be all. I asked to have it taken to court and Lorenz asked for a retainer fee. I asked who would cover all of my medical beyond the 35 thousand. Lorenz and Lorenz stated that maybe I could ask the hospital to finance the amount. I asked for pain and suffering and was told that because 35 thousand was the max; that I would not be receiving any. Now I sit here in my wheelchair, making receiving collection letters for my injuries. I do not recommend Lorenz and Lorenz. You will never see Ted Lorenz and they will never keep you informed on your case. No one keeps each other in the loop of things. Beware and ask if your bills will be covered and up to how much and get it in writing. read more

So I contacted this company because their commercials show that they work super hard for the client and that they win huge amounts for their clients. What they don't tell you is that if you wanna switch lawyers, they won't help you they won't even talk to you. They don't even find out how much money you can possibly get because they don't want to have to try and deal with the other lawyer trying to get their money. Which nine times out of 10 the other lawyer doesn't get the money. So I would actually do your due diligence in finding alternatives. I don't think this company gets the amounts that they are claiming that they get. Because if they did they wouldn't be concerned with fighting off a couple thousand dollars from a previous rep. They will blow up your phone to call them back but then they say no. Don't waste your time here. Find lawyers who actually want to fight for a client like they say they do- this is not the one. We are very disappointed with this group/lawyer. I was in an accident, where my car was hit from behind, and it got total. I trust them to deal with the other insurance (Progressive). I had some injuries and they sent me to chiropractic to get treated. They assured me that the insurance would cover all these spences. I got almost 12-15 sessions with the chiro, plus the hospital expenses. They got all the documents and the police report. I trust them for this service. It has been a month since this process started, and yesterday I received a call from them that they cannot continue with the case, and that I'll have to pay all the medical expenses. The explanation was that they could not get into an agreement with Progressive. Then what is the purpose of hiring them? What happens that makes them desist from my case? They were very confident when I consulted and hired them. I have so many questions... But for sure, I will NOT recommend this attorney to any friend, or family. I will speak up about my experience on all platforms because this is not what they advertise for. I hope this helps others. read more

I was in a car accident several years ago and get very resentful when I see his commercials. I broke my left arm and a small bone in my neck. I was not at fault. I never saw the same attorney twice. I went and spoke to Mr. Lorenz about the quality of service. Nothing changed. I was awarded my medical bills paid and 500.00. My car was totaled. The firefighters had to get the jaws of life to get me out. Mentally scared to death since my car was smoking and I couldn't get out. In serious pain. Because of my age and bone density, I was in a cast for 2 months and a bone growth machine for another 2. Guess my case wasn't going to get the "big money" so he just settled for whatever. Mental & physical pain was worth more than 500. Much less losing my car. He was worthless to me and I was so sorry I used him. Worse lawyer I have ever dealt with. Along with the other 5 lawyers I dealt with through the case. It's been several years and I still am seeing orthopedic doctors. I was not compensated near enough, nor was I represented in a respectful way. I just kept getting another lawyer. So, no attorney ever even got to know my case. I hired this law firm for an auto accident. I have 5 slipped discs in my back because of the wreck. Other party took liability. I've been really hurt physically, not to mention I lost my job because of my injuries, lost my housing, me and my 2 disabled children are homeless now. I couldn't get to the chiropractor all the time due to losing my automobile. Instead of helping and being there, Lorenz and Lorenz dropped me for not being able to get to the chiropractor. Now I've wasted so much time with them I'm not sure I can get another attorney to take my case. Going with this law firm is the worse decision I made for me and my family. I was involved in an accident on December 17th 2021 I was rear-ended by young kid 19 years old I watched Lorenzo Lorenz commercials on TV and stuff and then also you know some of the people over here are Killeen said he's a good attorney but since I've been with them I went to this is my third attorney with them and stuff and it just seems like I'm getting a run around every time I call up there to check on it and stuff you know they said they're waiting for the check to come in I'm just trying to find out what year I'm going to get you know the action for that kid rear-ended me and stuff I just can't get no answers so it's always an excuse but every time I call up there can never get a hold of the attorney and stuff and they just need to let me know and I'll give you all the report after this all gets settled and stuff but right now I'm not happy read more
