There were no warning signs, no cones, and no visible indication that dangerous tree work was happening directly adjacent to the path. Their only attempt to block the sidewalk was a single black bin, which is not a recognized safety marker. As I approached, a branch fell from the tree, landing alarmingly close to the stroller. The crew's response was equally appalling. One worker said I should know that the sidewalk was closed off because they placed a black bin in the middle, and another, high in the tree, made a loud remark about me bringing a baby through an area they had failed to properly close off. Their negligence put my family at direct risk, and their unprofessional comments added insult to injury. A reputable tree service prioritizes public safety. This company does not.

The first was a 30 foot pear tree that was growing right next to their fence and was overhanging their sidewalk. The second was a 40 foot pine tree that was even more inaccessible. It was in a corner right beside our shed and fence and was also adjacent to their patio. The arborist was extremely skillful in his planning and removal of the trees and my parents were overjoyed with the result. I can understand that things happen and plans have to change but they never even called to explain or apologize. He also "forgot" to tell me that stump grinding does not occur on the same day and that he could have the tree removal people come by "at any time if it suited their schedule." When 930 came the day promised there were no further workers, I instead received an invoice for half of the job and no clarification on anything. He then refused to price-match with another company after he had messed up and I was trying to give him an out. Avoid this company!

I am not really sure that they do anything or have any desire to provide any real services after my experience with them.When I phoned to request the advertised "free evaluation and estimate" I provided Jim with all my information, including the address and requested services. I was told that he would come by the property and provide us with a quote. A month went by, then a couple more weeks. I know all these companies are busy this time of year, but thought more than enough time had passed, so I left a polite reminder on his voicemail. Two more weeks passed. Still nothing. So I phoned back and enquired about the time frame, only to be snapped at by Jim. He was extremely aggressive and defensive. I had been nothing but polite and infinitely patient! I guess that 2 months was not long enough to wait for him to grace me with his estimate. What a primadonna! Really, Jim, I am a willing, paying customer, but I will find someone else if you can't be bothered to respond. To sum up, maybe this company provides decent tree pruning and removal services, but how is anyone to know?
