He arrived on time, his crew were well dressed, the truck and chipper were in excellent looking condition, and the entire job was completed in less than 1 hour, including a perfect clean up. You would never know that a tree had just been cut down and chipped - driveways, flowerbeds, walkways, sidewalk and street were completely cleaned after. I thanked each of the crew members (5 of them) for doing an excellent job, and each said to me, "thank you for the work" or "thank you for hiring us to do this job". When do you get people expressing being so grateful for being hired? Druze is a very proud owner of his business, and was working alongside the crew as a team member, doing many of the tasks they were all involved in. The first was a 30 foot pear tree that was growing right next to their fence and was overhanging their sidewalk. The second was a 40 foot pine tree that was even more inaccessible. It was in a corner right beside our shed and fence and was also adjacent to their patio. The arborist was extremely skillful in his planning and removal of the trees and my parents were overjoyed with the result. I can understand that things happen and plans have to change but they never even called to explain or apologize. He also "forgot" to tell me that stump grinding does not occur on the same day and that he could have the tree removal people come by "at any time if it suited their schedule." When 930 came the day promised there were no further workers, I instead received an invoice for half of the job and no clarification on anything. He then refused to price-match with another company after he had messed up and I was trying to give him an out. Avoid this company!

I was told that he would come by the property and provide us with a quote. A month went by, then a couple more weeks. I know all these companies are busy this time of year, but thought more than enough time had passed, so I left a polite reminder on his voicemail. Two more weeks passed. Still nothing. So I phoned back and enquired about the time frame, only to be snapped at by Jim. He was extremely aggressive and defensive. I had been nothing but polite and infinitely patient! I guess that 2 months was not long enough to wait for him to grace me with his estimate. What a primadonna! Really, Jim, I am a willing, paying customer, but I will find someone else if you can't be bothered to respond.
