With a month of lead time, get the damn quote right! This was their first mistake. Rather than take a step towards correcting the mistake and expediting the parts shipment, they did not, and the parts took super long to arrive as this was over the new years holiday. Part finally arrives and I'm told they would need another week, at the latest. A weeks passes and more excuses and delays. Another week passes and the car is finally ready. I arrive to pick it up there is still a part missing on order!! I pick up the car anyway and agree to come back when the part arrives. The next morning a support beam underneath the car fell out!! I brought the car back when the final part arrived, and they fixed the fallen support beam. So a 5 day repair took 21+ days. They never pro-actively called me to keep me up to date. I always had to call. They did absolutely nothing to accommodate me for their repeated mistakes. The quality of work was questionable, and several weeks later the car still stinks of epoxy resin. They ordered the parts and within a few days they had my van fixed! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME w/ GERBER AUTO COLLISION in Avon. Go to MidValley Auto in Eagle-Vail. Granted my repair was less than a 2 hr job but not only could the other repair shop not give me an appointment sooner than 5 weeks but MidValley also quoted the job for 40% less than Gerber! I was shocked how much of a price difference there was between these 2 auto body repair shops! Just goes to show not all auto body shops quote according to the "book"!
