I was grateful she took the lead on a half shot instead of full shot as the full shot would likely have been too strong for my preference being new to that flavor in my coffee. I got my husband a caramel macchiato which he also enjoyed. The interior is simple and on theme. There is a display of shirts, mugs, local honey, etc for purchase. I had to drive around the parking lot and circle back to find the correct location. When turning into the main lot, it's on your far left. If going through the drive thru then you'd go straight back and turn left behind the building.

It's drive thru only but absolutely worth the short trip from Hot Springs National Park. The owner is super friendly and remembered us when we returned a second time to get a latte on our drive home. Their original latte is so good on its own, with a perfect amount of sweetness and just a super smooth coffee. She makes the syrups herself and I also tried a pistachio biscotti latte my first time around and enjoyed the flavor, though it ended up being slightly too sweet for my personal tastes. We also picked up a muffin each time we visited and the owner bakes a solid muffin. They were super moist and flavorful and had a great crumb. While I'm sad this isn't local to me, it gives me a great spot to look forward to returning to!

My family was traveling through the area and whenever we travel we like to find local coffee shops, diners, etc. This trip was no different and we really enjoyed this little gem we found. We liked it so much we actually went back a second time the following day. Whenever we visit a coffee shop for the first time we always start with a basic coffee (usually espresso) to truly taste the coffee and gauge the quality. Red Light Roastery passed the test! Next we ordered a cold brew (also a good test of the quality of the coffee and diversity of the shop) and this was one of the better cold brews I have gotten at a small coffee shop. Alot of coffee shops struggle with cold brew but Red Light did a great job. Other drinks and foods are available but their main focus is on the more basic coffee drinks (real coffee drinks - not Starbucks coffee drinks).

Anyways, in down town Hot Springs, my partner and I walked passed Zen Tea and decided to hop in for some drinks. It feels like a pretty standard boba shop except stretched out in a corrider. There's a hall with some seating you walk through before you get to the actual ordering area. Staff were nice and helpful, explaining the menu as they had idiosyncratic names for drinks. I went with a mango pandan drink with basil seeds. It was too sweet for my tastes but I'm not surprised as I forgot to ask for a sugar adjustment. It didn't have a strong flavor of mango or pandan and was just a general sweet flavor. It was refreshing still as we had just come out from the hot springs and a nice cold drink just hit the spot. Overall, I think it's an alright spot for boba. Not something I'd make the effort to go back to but wouldn't be opposed to stopping by if its there.

This was a nice donut shop that was really close to our hotel in Hot Springs so we didn't have to travel far. The biscuit sandwich was really gooe, classic biscuit, egg, cheese, and sausage for me. The biscuit was nice and fluffy and the innards were all tasty and warmed up. The donut holes were your classic glazed donut holes. The boudin kolache had a nice, flavorful boudin and a soft bread. Really all the food we got was just great and cheap.
