The craziest part about it is he completely lies, yet when you meet him he seems like an outgoing cool business guy. What. A SCAM. This should have…read morebeen my first clue. - Was told appointments available, agreed to have them complete and reminded them that I needed asap as I was listing house for sale. - Received a call week of that they were very busy and they asked if they could schedule for next Tuesday, I replied, sure. Again reminding that I needed it asap, due to sale/ listing of house. - Next Tuesday came, no show! Called Nate and he said, Oh I scheduled you for the next Tuesday because that's what he had on his schedule... What!! - He schedule some painters for Monday. Painter showed up and started taping off and painting for the day. - Tuesday comes, No painters! Text and called letting Project Mgr. and owner know that painters hadn't showed. Response was that they had something come up. House was in shambles, taped off with plastic and paper. They arranged to have other painters there by noon, more taping and painting, about three hours. - Wednesday original painters decided to show up, I expressed my concerns about how they don't tape off lighting fixtures and vents and how they were getting paint on all these things with their "free hand" paint cutting. The crew did not like my advice/ criticisms and left. - Many more disappointments, overspray, areas missed/ incomplete areas, paint on light fixtures, cracks in walls that should have been filled prior to painting, painting only one side of door? Too many issues with this company, don't do it!

I hope our review helps because as it turns out we are not the only family that Lone Star Painters has either done poor work for and/or taken money from. The paint team showed up late, left early, used the wrong color paint, did not prep our home properly and did a nightmare of a job painting. The way they tried to cut in the paint on our walls made no sense, they would start in one spot then stop and start in another. Leaving incomplete sections here and there. We are glad we stopped the work when we did but we are now in the process of taking legal action for our money back as the owner is refusing to reimburse a portion of our deposit. They only actually worked one day for maybe four or five hours but he's trying to charge us for two days. Then he explained that he had to charge us for the paint but failed to explain why he kept all the paint that he's charging us for. It's a shame because he came across as a nice genuine person but after requesting him to stop the work he has been untruthful and aggressive with his emails. Don't use this company, there are other companies that will paint your home without taking a penny till the job is complete and you are happy with their work! Save yourself the nightmare and headache and reach out to us if you have questions.

They came quickly to give us an estimate for painting our home and back patio cement. They were, by far, the most reasonable quote, not the cheapest, but really well-priced for the work. They pressure washed everything, used high quality Sherwin Williams paint and completed the job in 2 days! The house looks new again. We had stucco and trim to paint on our 2400 sq. ft. single story and it came out great. Highly recommend them. The quality of service was the most unprofessional and below quality standards. In fact it was so bad I have video and pictures of the outcome giving Mr Jose multiple opportunities to make things right. I literally am going to spend about $800 to fix his damages and possibly more. This guy apparently hires contractors or people off the street and brings them into your property not knowing who they are nor their background and quality of work. He had two gentlemen that were arguing inside the first day and apparently he didn't know who they were. These guys told me they were hired by him and he was not prepared with any of the materials which made him late each day as he told me a specific time to be there we were all there and he never showed up till about an hour later stating that he forgot some materials and had to go to home Depot. There is plenty more to the story I have just spent two days with Jose and 12 to 14 hours each day yes that many hours my whole weekend and I lost a lot of money at this point. He did not deserve the money I ended up paying him after he left there was so much spray over damage my carpet damaged my walls I'm going to have to repaint the whole place again damaged my fans that I lend him in his crew I have no problem lending people things as it's hot or they may forget a hammer here and there but for them to destroy my fans I have paid for brand new all full of paint and overspray one of the fans is a solar power that cost me $75. That's not even a couple of months old. I've lost a lot of money have to replace new blinds the overspray was all over the windows walls door handles power cords just a horrible job. Every day he had an excuse this guy should not be a handyman nor should he be out there doing work. My experience these are facts not somebody that just made this stuff up.
