Leading up to our trial for a custody/parental alienation case it seemed we were dealing with someone who was very busy as we received little communication. I get that's typical in the legal profession, we assumed he had a busy work load. However, we were also paying clients and did not feel that he fully grasped our situation. We reached out occasionally and sometimes get a response days later (if any). I will mention that we requested a call to discuss things around our trial date to ensure we were on the same page. He did make time for us the day before our court date. While we appreciated the contact, it was too late to add any evidence or possibly make changes to help our cause. Upon arriving the day of court, we heard him mention to us that some of the exhibits were turned in late. We had so much false hope for how things would go that day. But this time I got speeding ticket from a State Trooper who is smarter than the Waze app. (He used moving radar, got me on I-71 at mile marker 34, which is not half a mile from where the speed limit raises from 65 to 75. He advised me on the current state of the local prosecutor (some recent personnel changes at the courthouse added some nuance to the case. We discussed strategies, and probable outcomes. Then he looked at the court records on these two guys in question and said that there was conflicting interest so I said well thanks for wasting my time and he arrogantly exclaimed same after I left I got to thinking he is trying to stall because they were clients of his or the firm hoping to get past the statue of limitations so in short, I believe he was trying to win the case for them by stalling and trying to talk me out of it I believe it is extremely unethical to lead me to believe that he would represent me, but was only trying to keep me from suing his clients-and if I could prove it, it would probably be grounds for disbarment well for him. I recorded everything the last laugh may be on him.
