Drove up from out of state for a family reunion. Ohio State Troopers were out en masse for a Labor…read moreDay ticket bonanza. I'm good at dodging those... usually. But this time I got speeding ticket from a State Trooper who is smarter than the Waze app. (He used moving radar, got me on I-71 at mile marker 34, which is not half a mile from where the speed limit raises from 65 to 75. This guy knows exactly how to game the system.) Working with Attorney JR Bernans was a breeze. He advised me on the current state of the local prosecutor (some recent personnel changes at the courthouse added some nuance to the case. We discussed strategies, and probable outcomes. And while I know that everyone will not be as fortunate as I in their legal disputes, JR was able to reduce my speeding ticket to a nonmoving violation. This guy is GOOD at his job. Took all of the hassle and stress out of the equation for me. ac And while I can't vouch for the firm at large, I expect that if they attract talented attorneys like JR, working with Rittgers and Rittgers is probably going to be a great experience for you. It certainly was for me.

Emily prevailed for me against strong opposition that resulted in exactly what I needed but would have been helpless to secure on my own. Emily is compassionate empathetic super smart and creative and more than able to "put the hammer down" for her clients. Emily came highly recommended to me from a super credible source.. and I'm only too happy to add my strongest endorsement. If you need a hotshot, Emily will get it done for you.

I had a great experience working with Andrew Mick at Kruger & Hodges. He handled everything…read morequickly, professionally, and made the entire process very easy for us. My father holds a Class A license, so avoiding points on his record was extremely important. Andrew was able to negotiate and resolve the matter by having the citation amended to a non-moving equipment violation with 0 points assessed. We were very happy with the outcome. Communication was clear throughout the process, and he responded promptly whenever we had questions. I highly recommend Andrew Mick to anyone looking for an attorney who is efficient, knowledgeable, and truly works to get the best possible result for his clients.

I replied back that evening, stating I had already written up a summary for both matters and that they might want to look them over before a discussion, to properly assess the matters. 3/18/25: I heard nothing. 3/19/25: I heard nothing. 3/19/25: I filled out a followup webform thinking maybe my email was marked as spam. I also followed up with a message on their answering service. 3/20/25: I received a form-letter response indicating that "based on the details I had provided" (mind you, I hadn't provided ANY yet), the firm was not interested in my case. I emailed back asking how such a determination could have been made when they had failed to respond to my question regarding the delivery of those details. I heard nothing. 3/21/25: I heard nothing. 3/24/25: I located a different "office" email address online and emailed the details of my experience, asking a supervisor to get back to me explaining how such a thing could happen (as a business owner myself, if an employee of mine were rejecting business without thoroughly assessing, I'd want to know). 3/25/25: I've still heard nothing, and don't expect to at this point... I'd like to say this was an isolated incident, but the reality is, 4 different times, via 3 different contact methods, messages were ignored, so that tends to suggests this is "business-as-usual" for them. I hope you all have better luck, but I don't get the sense these folks really care. It's a shame, because one of the attorneys came highly recommended.

if I was looking for a lawyer, these guys would be the last I'd call when I called Andrew Pratt I…read morespacifically asked him if there were any conflicting interest with my opponents he said no when I told him who I intended to sue them he tried to talk me out of it then stated that I wouldn't be able to make them pay if I did win and that he wouldn't sue them on a percentage that I needed to give him $5000 I agreed then when we set the appointment up it was three weeks away then when I got to his office, he tried to reschedule because I couldn't hear him and he didn't want to talk any louder. Then he looked at the court records on these two guys in question and said that there was conflicting interest so I said well thanks for wasting my time and he arrogantly exclaimed same after I left I got to thinking he is trying to stall because they were clients of his or the firm hoping to get past the statue of limitations so in short, I believe he was trying to win the case for them by stalling and trying to talk me out of it I believe it is extremely unethical to lead me to believe that he would represent me, but was only trying to keep me from suing his clients-and if I could prove it, it would probably be grounds for disbarment well for him. I recorded everything the last laugh may be on him.
