K.B. & 'Super 6'-Sibling Review:…read more As I was looking for legal advice after the death of our Father while visiting Dayton,Ohio (where I was born) from Southern California, I received a referral from the Dayton Bar Association to Mr. David Brannon- based on his expertise in the area of Estate Planning and Living Will and Trust. Even from our initial phone conversation, David was very easy to talk to and super helpful to email me an itemized list of documents to organize my planning at the moment we spoke. As you can imagine having this info to start really provided me with the solid direction on where to start as the next of kin, amongst a family of 6 siblings and a host of secondary family members, for what was already a very sensitive emotional and financial situation. I think that it would also be helpful to know that David was kind enough to work with my limited schedule during my hometown visit, to provide a in-person consultation appointment with my family and I. During our appointment, the Brannon & Associates Staff was very kind, understanding as well as culturally competent, honoring our diversity as a young African-American family. David spoke in simple terms that we could all understand and also had a paralegal named Patty there to help gather info on our case. This immediately made us feel like we were being seriously and being placed as his priority at the moment. Together as a Team we sat together in collaboration and spoke openly about the facts of what would be my family's Estate case, including the discussion of such tough subjects as property values, debt and the creditor claims of my deceased Father. He was honest, straightforward and witty, even mentioning that he and I both shared the commonality of both having a Twin. By this time, it became very evident to me, that David was not only very experienced but is also competent enough to systematic apply his years of legal skill, in order to assess our case properly. Further to that note, we even received a follow-up email with the notes to recap our conversation as well as action steps moving forward, after our consult. Our names were even spelled correctly in the email, which truly speaks to the efficiency of an Au'some staff! As if we weren't sold enough, on top of all of that...the vibe was high and light, in the Brannon office as we were all even able to share a quick laugh to lift our spirits during such a sad time. To sum it all up, the combination of the the ease and empathy we felt in the office of Brannon & Associates was absolutely empowering, bringing about fond nostalgic memories of the goodness of the community where I grew up. If was truly a breath of fresh air for me and my family. So, if you're looking for legal counsel from a earnest, neighborly, a heart centered-professional Attorney and Staff and you appreciate being treated like a human, David Brannon & Associates will be there for you. Shine On, David!...and thank you. K.B. & S6

As my mother didn't have a will, trust or list a POD (pay on death) beneficiary, I was instructed I had to go through probate. Upon conducting a yelp search for probate attorneys, hoping CA attorneys could help, I was informed I needed an attorney in OH! So began my quick and easy search on yelp and David Brannon was listed with already high rankings. I reached out and so began our quick and easy interaction with David and Patty! Even with the different time zones, we were able to communicate with ease. David and Patty, kept me fully updated every step of the way! I read somewhere probate could take years, so I wasn't too concerned, yet as it was just gaining the funds of my mothers accounts, this process was only a few months! If you need an attorney, I highly recommend David Brannon! He has the ability to speak to you like a friend, not just a businessman! Which during this time, was thoroughly appreciated! I wish I was able to meet them face to face, but for now, I will take solace in knowing he helped me during the most difficult time in my life! Words to the wise: have a POD listed on your bank accounts...IT'S FREE! Have a will or trust! If not, get in touch in touch with David Brannon!

I even called while my husband lay dying at Hospice. STILL no return call. It's now the end of MAY 2023. So now I start my search for a law firm that is TRUTHFUL when they brag on the internet of being COMPASSIONATE. Return Communication to someone who is beside themselves with grief would be considered compassionate. SIX MONTHS I waited because I didn't know what else to do. They WERE the attorney that drew our Wills up. Never have I been treated so disrespectful. If you had no intention on helping me it would have been so kind of you to tell me.

Mr. Meyer answered and seemed like he was very annoyed. I asked him if he'd be able to help me and he said that he didn't have the time and told me to do it myself. I told him that I already looked over the forms and was a little confused about some stuff and just needed help with the process (plus the probate court recommends that you get a lawyer to make sure everything is done right). He was very rude and just said to look online. I asked him if he had anyone he could refer me to that could help and he said no and to just look online for someone in Butler county or just do it myself. I already did some online searching prior and that's actually how I came across this law office. In short, this guy was very rude and seemed like he didn't even want to be at work. From this encounter, I wouldn't recommend him for any legal representation. Maybe he had an off day, but I got off the phone feeling like he thought I was an idiot that was wasting his time. Maybe to them this might seem like an easy thing to do, but I know nothing about this legal stuff and was just looking for some help. When I got on the call with him I accidentally misheard his name due to stuff happening around me, and I don't know if maybe that made him angry even though I apologized right away, but the entire call he was very standoffish and annoyed. Their website states that it is one of the easiest things that they help people with, but when speaking on the phone it sounds like they don't help people with it very often and it seemed like it was beneath them. Very disappointing. I was excited to get this process started.
