The people here have been very patient and kind. We found them on the Texas workforce commissions childcare site and they have a 4 star rising star rating. They accepted my sister's foster kids immediately and have been very accommodating and understanding of their needs. The flexible drop off and pick up times and 24/7 hours are absolutely amazing. My 2 year old has been going to Robindell for about 2 months now & we have had a wonderful experience. She comes home happy daily, she's always clean & says she loves her new school. The school is always clean and I often see ppl cleaning when I drop off and pick up. The other reviews scared me initially but I work really late nights and didn't have much of a choice. I can't say anything bad about this school. It is extremely hard to find a 24 hour daycare service for Infants and kids. I love my son at this school. He had attended this school for 5 years until Aug 2022 because he need to be in a more equipped school that dealt with his type of disability for hearing loss. But he really enjoyed the school and had awesome teachers! I had an issue about something and contacted Chuck and he would immediately get back to me. As far as service for children I loved it! He really was appreciated and loved by his teachers. But for the parents you have to also try an form a good relationship with the teacher as well and staff. I found out about this daycare from a former co-worker. Then later I found out my coworkers used to all bring there kids there. Be we literally worked like 5 minutes away. For kids that are older 4+ just don't, place is like a fish market on the weekends, you can clearly see that the staff could not care less. My daughter (6 years old at the time) cried one day when I tried to bring her here, I asked the front desk to comfort her or at least keep an eye on her and she looked at me like I was on drugs or something. I hate to even give this place one star because my son really did enjoy coming here when he did and to be honest, for the most part the staff was always nice. Due to an unfortunate circumstance, I needed to find care for him, and this was the only place that I could find that fit with my work schedule at the hospital. He started coming here when he was 3 (he is 6 now) and it was okay minus a few things that bothered me but it wasn't enough for me to pull him out the place entirely. I really don't have anything bad to say about this place, I'm just very unhappy with the disorganization. Before COVID happened, my son took school pictures, and since I was able to have a family member keep him for me while I was working during that time, I did not send him there during the virus so I wasn't able to get the proofs until April (when I went to get his remaining work for kindergarten that I was never even informed of. I got his remaining work, and I gave them my payment for the pictures. I saw that my card was charged for them, so I figured they would be there soon... Fast forward to today, I've called many times asking if the pictures are back and each time I get told "try this day.. or next week..", and then this last time I called, the lady said, "Oh she hasn't came back yet with the pictures because of COVID." At this point, I've been told too many different stories and its frustrating because he hasn't been there since February, and it feels like they just forget about your child when they no longer attend for a little while.. and I wasn't one of those parents that didn't pay them each week on time during the THREE years that he was there!! I'm also waiting for my sons report card since we are moving to Florida soon.. and he will be starting first grade in August. His teacher, Ms. Cole (who was very, very nice and helpful, we will miss her!!) said she would email me whenever they would be ready so hopefully I'll be able to at least have that but I guess I'll have to keep on calling to see. I appreciate this school for preparing my son for his first years of school, I'm just disappointed with how unorganized it has always been. read more

I love this school my kids been at robindell since 2017 up until now and I just love how they are hands on. When anything is going on with my kids I always get a call or they nana linda will get a call . Marcus and Marley love going to school here and the trips they get to go on, when they get home all they talk about is they teachers my kids start here only knowing how to say they name and one just started talking but now my baby's are so smart with the thanks to robindell I was afraid at first do to the reviews but I gave them a chance which was a grate one thank u robindell and mr.chuck. read more

This is been my worst experience with a daycare center. The director Chuck Wall and his assistant director Rita are rude and unprofessional when faced with the challenge of dealing with concerned parents. My child was attending robindell since April 19th 2017 and has discontinued attendance as of November 1st 2017. I have had many incidents with the caregivers who do the bare minimum when it comes to taking care of people's children. I have had caregivers steal diapers from other children and put them on my child although he has always had enough diapers for his time in there care. I have had caregivers steal his diapers and give them to other children. I have had caregivers still unopened packs of specialty wipes for my child and replace them with off-brand wipes. The director has acknowledged that has caregivers we're stealing from my child by compensating me for stolen merchandise however those caregivers continue to work at Robindale and they continue to steal from other children. I have had caregivers allow my child to stand for prolonged periods and ant piles that caused him to be covered in 30-plus ant bites on both of his feet up his legs and on his hands and arms. I have had staff members informed me that they have witness other staff mistreating my child and and the staff member took it upon themselves to remove my child for his own safety from other staff members. I have interacted with other parents who are facing the same situation current and previous who are also being told by the director Chuck that these are isolated incidences that are not happening to other children. I have had staff members tell me that it is pointless to talk to the director Chuck about my concerns because he will not do anything unless the state of Texas regulations board give him a monetary fine. Chuck has never gone in with me to supervise or address my concerns with his direct caregivers. The most recent incident happened on Halloween of 2017 where two caregivers were in the classroom while my child ran around missing a shoe that had been unlaced and another student Age 2 years old was running around with the shoelace endangering herself and every other child in the classroom. Upon entering that classroom both caregivers were in deep conversation with one another while the children ran around unsupervised and both caregivers lied stating that they had only been in the classroom for 5 minutes while the assistant director Rita confirm that they had been on camera and that classroom for 1 hour. When speaking to Rita about my concerns she explained that after the children are walking up for nap they are not super vised for 1 hour while the caregivers potty train and pick up cots which allows the children to run around without adult paying attention to their actions. After telling her that I did not think that that was an appropriate response as to why my child had missing shoes really decided she did not have to do her job and speak with me and chose to hang up in my face while I was speaking. The following day I spoke to Chuck about my concerns who refused to allow me to watch the cameras to see if my child was being monitored. When I asked for information to report him to the board of regulations he told me that my child could no longer attend because he was tired of me and tired of my two-year-old son who has never had a behavior report who has no incidents of misbehavior and who every direct care giver has enjoyed having to the point where they continue to care for him even as he moves through the classes when at all possible. Chuck is never available when it comes time to deal with incidences and the school because he always leaves before 3 p.m. and does not show up before 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Most of the staff say they do not know what the regulations are and that they're allowed to make up their own rules based on their judgment and that those rules can change daily depending on who is in the building and who the child is. This is the worst day care that you could send your child to. Save yourself the trouble. read more

i have an infant (11 months) and a toddler (4) currently enrolled here and i love it. they have been here for about 8-9 months and they love it too. you can totally tell when your kids are well taken care of and my toddler will not only say "hi" and smile at all staff, she will hug them hello and goodbye also. and most of them arent even her teachers. my infant son smiles at his teachers when i drop him off, has since day one. he has so far been in 2 rooms (they move to another primary room as they get older or when they start to crawl/walk) and the teachers there i swear treat him like he is their own. i read the other reviews, first, i cant see giving a 1 star rating when you have not even stepped foot in the place. second, as a mother i would hope that the other 2 reviews from parents of enrolled children are maybe a little communication mixed, since most times we have to be our child's voice and we can barely understand them. but i would raise hell not on yelp, but on the news and such. so i cant say anything discrediting about those reviews, only speak for myself and my children. i have 2 older kids that went here about 8 years ago, they were enrolled for about 1 year before going to public school first grade, and they loved it. when i told them i was enrolling my youngest here, both of my older kids said they remember their time here and they loved the school, especially the meals. its seriously like home cooking. judge for yourself, i felt the need to write my review because all i saw was negative and i wanted to share that i have yet to experience any negative. if i do, i hope that Mr. Chuck and the rest of the staff will be as attentive as they have been in providing excellent care. oh and, i saw a lot of the same teachers and front office staff now, that i saw when my oldest were enrolled. i always liked that because no one is going to stay working for an employer that long if the place is so awful. read more

Do not send your Kids here!! Let me repeat "Do not send your kids here"!! Here is what happened: Read every detail I enrolled my three year old into this daycare because they are open 24 hours and I needed a daycare that was open late hours. I removed my child from this facility because every time I picked her up she would complain about her private parts hurting. When my child first start complaining I didn't think anything of it, I thought maybe she had a rash or something. As time progressed my child started acting different when it was time to go to daycare, from screaming an crying the words " I Dont like this daycare, I Dont like Charmaine". (Charmaine is a teacher there). So, one day I'm signing my daughter in an she is throwing a fit and screaming she Dont like it here, so the lady at the front desk asks my daughter why Dont she like it and my daughter didn't answer. So my daughter continue to cry and scream all the way to her class. While inside I take her to a teacher name Mrs. Myra and my daughter still hasn't calm down. So, I talks to my daughter to try an calm her down an explain to her that i have to go to work. After dropping her off and heading to work i began to worry. So I started calling in asking how she was doing because she's been complaining that she Dont like the daycare. The lady watching the cameras would tell me shes playing. As time went on, my daughter started telling me she Dont like Charmaine and I would ask her why not and she would just fold her arms. (Keep in mind everything you just Read) this happened every time I dropped my child off! On the weekends there are three classrooms on the back. My daughter always pointed to other rooms an said not to take her to Charmaine class. One day out the blue we at home an my child points to her "clitoris" and say charmaine in restroom at daycare. So before I jumped to any conclusions the next day I go up there to discuss what my child had said to me. The teacher Mrs. Charmaine wasn't in her room but another teacher was and I told that teacher what my child says and that teacher says I Dont think charmaine would do anything like that and she stepped out to go to her car. So few seconds later Charmaine comes in and the other lady begins telling her what my child said happened. Charmaine (no eye contact) with her back turnt says "we Dont do that here" and then charmaine says "well do she have a back pack because she going with Mrs. myra" . I swear on my life....I knew right then my daughter was telling the truth because I read her body language. Its like I felt it. When I left I told the lady at the front desk what Charmaine had said and the lady asked me what did Charmaine mean when she said we Dont do that here. I said I have no clue. I reached out to Mrs.Rita about seeing video tape...it took the lady days to call me back and when she did she tells me well charmaine been with us for a long time and maybe she was patting her off. I tell her my child been in several daycares an never told me anything like this...EVER! Kids Dont make stuff like this up. Long story Short, I never saw video footage! I ended up filing a police report and child licensing got involved. My child cant put into sentences as to what really happened because her speech isn't great. But she will point to get private parts and try an say what happened. I believe my child and I know my child! I would never recommend this daycare. They Dont seem to care about the well being of children and took days to return my phone call to discuss the matter. I think some disgusting things happen here that are covered up. I'm 100% sure if they would to give the teacher charmaine a polygraph she would fail it! Dont bring your children here...... read more

Let me start by saying that at first i was hesitant because of what i had heard but i went to see for myself and my views changed. I used to work in childcare for 8 years so i know what to expect and what to look for. This place is above and beyond. Not only do they have great hours they have great staff. My sons have been here almost 6 years now. The only feedback i have is the kids do not really like the food but hey thats kids for you. Plus in 6 years if thats the only complaint i can come up with thays pretty good. Everyone here cares. Chuck the owner really does go out of his way for families and kids. Ms Mary, Ms Phyllis and all the other staff put their hearts into all they do. This child care has a very low turn over. There are lots of things for the kids to do and plenty of field trips in the summer and on breaks. They have cameras which they actually look at. One time my son lost his blanket and chuck went above and beyond to help figure out what had happened to it (my kiddo rolled it up with the laundry from hit night cot). Some of these reviews are appalling because i know first hand that this place is great. For example the lady who said they do not care about injuries m that is untrue. In fact the other night they called me to tell me my son tripped over his own two feet and bumped his head. He was fine and i got a report in the morning.His story matched exactly what i was told Sometimes they cannot see every bump and scrape especially if the kid doesn't tell them but if you ask they will look into it. We have never had a serious injury in the time we have been here. As for the teacher being rude or hurting kids that is untrue. Yes the teachers in the gym mat be loud but that is only beacuse they need to be heard. I can tell you every one of them cares about those kids. In 6 years i have only had one major issue with a teacher allowing another child to hurt my son. It was promptly dealt with and the teacher is no longer there. Not everyone is perfect and sometimes bad teachers slip into good centers. But they do NOT last here. Check out the liscensing reports and you will see they have no major violations. Go see this place for yourself. It truly has been a lifesaver for me. I could not ask for a better place for my kids while i work. Thank you guys for everything! read more

I FEAR THE SAFTY AND WELL BEING PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, AND EMOTIONALLY OF EVERY CHILD WHO ATTENDS. ROBINDELL SHOULD NOT BE IN SERVICE. I took my son here when he was younger. I never had any problems. He got sick all the time though. I was out of work at least a week a month (every month). All the kids would get sick at one time and you cant bring them if they are throwing up, have diareahea, or have a fever. We moved for a while and then I brought him back when he got older. Because other than the sickness, I had no problems. I will never bring my child nor refer any other children to this daycare again. Once I brought him back I had problem after problem. I fear the safty and well being physically, mentally, and emotionally for all children who attend Robindell. The pre-school teacher, Swanson, has something wrong with her in the head. I brought the issue up to whom described herself as the owner of Robindell. I later found out that was a lie. She was actually the mother of the owner. The owner, Chuck, his mom has even worse issues. With the exception of a few, the staff are less mature than the children they watch. I was and still am utterly appalled at the experience I had with Robindell and how they are still running. These people do not need to be caring for children. I could go on and on but the bottom line is, this is NOT A SAFE environment for you nor you children. At all costs, take your children somewhere else. Do not ignore the negative reviews like I did when I decided to bring my child back. read more
