I've bought from Robin Hollow at the Lippitt Park Saturday farmers' market. I love being able to creat my own bouquet with the on-hand stock. The flower quality is superb and the pre-made bouquets are creative, but not overwhelming. Signs indicate they do weddings/events. I'd love the farm to do my wedding some day. read more

Well it was an almost disaster. Due to a series of unfortunate events my arrangement did not make it to the event on Friday. BUT- there was a total recovery. It was delivered the next morning. They did not charge me for the arrangement or delivery. I think this was one of the best recovery customer service experiences. Things happen and you cannot fix a timing issue but delivery the next morning with no charge did make it much better, and with it came a sincere apology and explanation. read more

I heart Polly. I just had my wedding in September and Robin Hollow Farms did our flowers. To be honest, I was very very nervous about a lot of my choices for the wedding, because you're spending so much money on ONE day and you really do want everything to be perfect. Polly did an absolutely fabulous job--and not just with the product. She really held my hand through the entire process, and had an upbeat and positive attitude amidst my 12984791 e-mails asking her to change 234202 things. Her patience is endless. Her knowledge and creativity vast. Also, it's worth mentioning that Robin Hollow Farms excels at a very earthy, organic, garden, fresh flower feel. My review is based solely on their annual Open House/Plant Sale. I had been looking forward to this plant sale for months and finally made the trek to the farm in great anticipation of stocking up my flower gardens. Sadly, they weren't offering the varieties of plants that I was hoping for from a cut flower farm. LOTS of annuals that are a dime a dozen at the big box stores, lots of herbs that were good quality and more mature than you usually find elsewhere, a good amount of succulents and finally some peonies. But, I already have peonies so no dice there. I guess I was just expecting more cut flower varieties since they ARE a cut flower farm. The mixed bouquets they were offering were beautiful, fresh and appropriately priced but I only ended up getting a mint plant and nothing to add to my flowering perennial gardens. Overall I'm glad I checked out the annual sale if only to avoid the temptation next year. read more

It is not often that I'm left speechless about someone's service, attention to deal, and flawless execution of an ever changing vision. I truly do not think there are words to describe just how wonderful Polly and the whole team at Robin Hollow are. From our initial phone call, I knew Polly was the right person for all things flowers for our wedding. Photos do not do justice for what Polly is capable of - she incredibly talented. I mean, look at the circular arbors she has created - mine was absolutely breathtaking (and it made for an epic photo op during both the ceremony and later in the night for guests!) Robin Hollow Farm made a beautiful, very unique, arrangement for my aunts passing. My mother wanted a "special country look" because , well, we are no city folk.. and it was beyond perfect, in a beautiful basket, & everyone knew it was from our family! I used Robin Hallow Farm for my wedding based on reviews I read previously BUT now that our wedding is over I would not recommend them to anyone. Being that my mom was a floral designer for years we had high expectations off the bat, but that does not excuse the fact that the flowers were nothing I asked for and they were past their peak and started dying right after our ceremony. Some boutonnieres arrived broken and a lot of the bouquets were browning before the reception and professional photos after the ceremony! Before our wedding, I met Holly at her farm and brought a binder of ideas and inspirations so she would know exactly what I wanted for our bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces. I even sent Holly numerous photos so she would know exactly what I wanted and what colors to go with. The day of the wedding, the bouquets arrived, don't get me wrong, they were beautiful, but NOTHING I asked for. My wedding colors were pale bluish/greens and pale coral and I asked for rustic earthy bouquets. The bouquets were so small with bright yellow orange, and pink flowers but I asked for a larger than typical bridesmaid bouquet l with subtle pink and pale peach flowers...there was nothing pale in them! My bouquet was very very small as well and stated dying during the ceremony. The boutonnieres were bright yellow roses and looked like they were created days in advance bc of the horrible condition they were in. Before our wedding, Polly assured me I would love everything and that she would be dedicated to me since she only did one wedding at a time. Well, a couple weeks before our wedding she called to tell me that her niece was getting arrived the SAME day but I would have nothing to worry about and her husband would be delivering the flowers for our wedding. If this was the case I would have never used her. I'm assuming mine were created a couple days before our wedding which would explain the fact they were all dead, browning and broken within a couple hours into our wedding.. read more

Robin Hollow did our wedding flowers and they are nothing short of amazing. Everyone worked so closely with us and made sure all of the little details were in place. Was so disappointed with Polly at Robin Hollow Farm. I met her face to face for close to an hour, had a long call with her and my mom and countless emails over close to four months. I told her in writing that I locked her in and sent the deposit and signed contract. Later, she wrote me an email saying that my date was "no longer available". She didn't even have the courtesy to call me. I was devastated, as my wedding is just months away. I ended up finding The Local Bouquet/Mary Kate whom has been wonderful so far, perhaps a blessing in disguise. read more

Our wedding was on May 15, 2012 in Narragansett. Although my husband is from Rhode Island, we live in DC, so had to coordinate everything from a distance. Polly was a delight to work with and she saw the vision I wanted to create immediately. Being able to use local and seasonal flowers was wonderful and added such a special touch to the wedding. We opted to go with a different focal flower for each centerpiece and it turned out stunning. In addition, we had weather issues we had to deal with, and had to move our wedding inside itself inside (the reception was always going to be in the Towers), and Polly was was so adjustable! And she created the perfect setting with the garland we used to frame the location we took our vows. All in all the experience was fantastic, I would recommend Robin Hollow Farms hands down - especially if you are having your reception/ceremony or any part there of at the Towers. Familiarity with that location is such a bonus to have!!! read more

I was very put off by Polly when inquiring about wedding bouquets. I told her my budget and she said it was a bit low for her product but sent along her pricing chart anyways. After reviewing her chart I realized that we would only need to up our budget by $100 to do what we wanted with her. I expressed this to her and asked for more information, photo references, and what she would have in season. She responded, not with an answer to a single question of mine, but with a snotty "I don't think Im a good fit for you." That's it. This is my first time planning a formal event and Im still figuring out my budget. Other vendors have been very helpful as far as explaining what a reasonable budget would be for them, recommending cheaper options, etc. But even after I was considering raising my budget for her product she just blew me off. I would not recommend working with her. Im glad I saw her rude attitude before I did business with her. read more

Polly did the flowers for my wedding on 5/18/12. They were AMAZING! So fresh, and exactly what I asked for. She did bouquets, boutinierres, corsages as well as lovely centerpieces and flowers for my favors, which were different size apothecary jars.
