For us, we just needed a quick lunch for a day at the lake but let me tell you this was under promise over delivered. I was impressed - really. No pics for this journey as it was just a deli sandwich, but let me tell you the sandwich was loaded up and all for just$9.00! My wife and I cut it in half and it was enough to fill us both. We ate at 12 noon and ow it's 7:19 as I write this post and we're just starting to get hungry. I highly recommend this deli!

I got some really good deals on veggies and meats. But beware of the EXPIRATION date on meats and salads ! They have a nice cake selection and decent deli. I got cat good for an elderly lady that I try to help since times are tough for her. I also got a pretzel on the way out ( from the inside Subway) which was tasty! I haven't been here at this store in a couple years..unfortunately I see homeless people that are stealing and then just walking out the door...sad! What happened to checking the receipt when you walk out? The cashier was friendly. I just like to get in and out of this place! It's a much needed place in Oroville because it has alot to offer..electronics...food...makeup..etc. at a discounted price. I bought stuff for chili at a fraction of the cost then my neighborhood grocery store!

It's kind of a long and random story, but I needed a bunch of piñatas. I went to Walmart first, which had the usual, very basic and Disney licensed piñatas that cost 20-24$. This Smart & Final always has the cutest, more authentic, unlicensed piñatas for like, no joke, like $7. So, I usually grocery shop here, but today I was on my piñata mission and it was completed and highly successful due to this smart and final.

I started trying the First Street brands little by little a while back , but now I look for them because I haven't been let down yet. Walked in the door and there was a table with pies. I grabbed a pumpkin and an apple. First street of course, they were both good , but the pumpkin was just incredibly good. The flavor the crust and the texture. Everyone that had some commented on how good it was. I'm going back today to see if there's any left. And the thing is , the price (as usual) was very low compared to other stores. Wish I had a picture, but too busy eating.

I am thankful for this little shop bc when I'm up here in the area, it always has the staple Asian ingredients I need. Is it as stocked as what we have in the city/bay or sac? Of course not. But it's great to have a place that I can count on to have enough staples for me to cook up some food. I'm Japanese, and do wish they offered a few Japanese items, but unless I'm in specific large cities- I'm used to just flowing towards Chinese or viet type recipes. Only Oto's in sac and a few Vegas Hawaii and little Tokyo/LA spots have true Japanese grocery stores. I don't just buy anything here, but for the few items that look not that amazing, I can list a lot of other local chain grocery stores around here that offer up worse quality on a more consistent basis. I give this place 5 stars. I like the service, not in your face, but give me answers when I need to price check etc and I think their prices are reasonable considering they're a much smaller store than say, Ranch 99 or Don Quiotes or SF market- this store in this area- their prices would obviously be slightly higher due to basic economic principles re volume and supply and demand for this area. To make my long review longer- I went there again tonight, leaving the place very grateful to have an Asian store in town and really happy they had fresh, hella delicious, very reasonably priced, chow fun and greens tonight. We cooked them up and the quality was perfection. Also- ample parking.
