Blew my tire and bent my rim last night. Each of 3 tire companies in my town could not find me a steel rim in their stores nor warehouses. One manger suggested that I call Robertson's. It was noontime today when I placed the call to them. I spoke to Ryan and he did have one for my car. I was thrilled, but the only set back was that they closed at 1pm. I'm in Falmouth and driving on a donut, so I couldn't possibly make it there driving 40-50 mph. Ryan said he could send me a link, to purchase the rim, and that he could leave it in one of the vehicles, and once he received the payment he would call me back and let me know what vehicle he'll leave it in. Sure enough not even 5 minutes later after the payment went through, he called and told me which wrecked vehicle, to find it in. I arrived there about 1:30pm and as soon as i pulled in I spotted the vehicle. went to the back seat and there it was with my paid receipt. Ryan and Robertson's saved me today, and on Monday I will have a new tire on that rim......10 Stars Loretta G. Falmouth, MA read more

I needed a power rear sliding glass for my 2006 F-250 and happened to find RAS' posting for one online. It was clearly listed as a powered unit and not the manual one sliding variant. When ordering I even asked the rep if the motor was working and she said yes. Once I ordered, I never received any timeline as far as when it'll be ready for pickup. I called to get an estimate and was told that it should be ready in a few hours but someone will call me to confirm. I waited all day with no one contacting me. I called the next morning and was told that it was ready for pickup. Mind you it's about a 42 minute drive to Wareham from my house. Once I arrived I got the receipt and went down to the shop for my order. The guy there brought out a manual sliding glass. Immediately I told him this isn't what I ordered and he basically told me to go talk to someone upstairs and complain there. I went back upstairs and was told that they sold me an incorrectly inventoried part and that they never actually had a power sliding glass. They did provide a refund but basically said sorry there's nothing else we can do. I gave this place a shot despite the existing bad reviews and had a pretty bad experience. If you live nearby, might be worth checking out but if you have to drive 30+ min, I wouldn't bother in the likelihood you get screwed. Look for alternatives, if possible. read more

This is going to be long, but I would like to explain the circumstances and my review in full. I arrived at Robertsons Monday January 12, 2026 to order a passenger seat for my Honda HRV. I was told that it should be the next day. The following day, I called before driving 45 minutes to Wareham, to make sure the seat was there, which it was. I'm not sure why nobody ever called to inform me that it was ready. Upon arrival, they had the wrong seat, it was supposed to be cloth and the one they had appeared to be leather or "pleather". I politely asked "Is this considered cloth?" The man working, had an attitude and simply replied "You can go inside and complain in there". I went inside and immediately they attempted to rectify the situation, and I was told they had reordered the correct seat and now it will arrive in 2-3 days. I called again, two days later and was greeted on the phone with confusion, placed on hold and then sent to a voicemail. I left a voicemail, and nobody ever called back. I called back again on Thursday and this time, I was told "the part was never reordered, but now should be here Monday (1/19). Monday came and went and I never heard from anyone at Roberstons once again, to tell me that my part had arrived. Tuesday morning, I called and asked to speak to a manager, he immediately said he was taking care of it and the part should now arrive in 1-2 days again. The afternoon Thursday comes, and still have not received any phone calls from Robertson's, so I once again call and find, after some confusion, that my part is there and ready to be picked up. It was ready since the day before, no notification!!!! So ultimately I am just relieved that they finally have my part, because I need it to pass inspection this month in my car. I notice that the receipt they gave me, does not match the amount of money that my card was charged. I was charged an extra $9.08. When I asked, I was informed that that was the credit card processing fee, which I do understand, but it is not posted that you will be charged extra for the processing fee. In fact, I had cash in my hand when I went to pay and the guy shoved the card reader towards me, so I just ran my card instead of using my cash. The "cashier" proceeds to tell me that there is a sign, and there is a very small sign on the left lower corner of the window that says "save if you pay cash" nowhere does it say that you will be charged if you use a credit card. I told them that, they should probably move the sign to a place where people can see it and make it more clear. A good place to put it would be on or right next to the card reader, and she proceeded to tell me that usually people "hang out for 5-10 minutes next to the sign". The manager even came over and said that they usually tell people about the transaction fee, but sometimes they "forget". This is by far the most shameless and shotty customer service I have experienced in a long time. SEEMS PRETTY SCAMMY TO ME!! And to top all of that off, not one person offered an apology or any solutions, except for the one manager I talked to that finally got my part. read more

Service, attitudes, integrity need to improve greatly. Hidden fees and restocking charges that when the questions are directly posed to staff are not mentioned. Maybe this is great place for some bottom feeder to buy parts but not for retail customers. I give it a ZERO. read more

Awful service! Tried calling multiple times. No answer. Finally got through and they sent the wrong part. When I called and told them it was the wrong part I got a major attitude from Zach telling me I was wrong. Will never use them again! read more

absolutely horrific experience. Price paid was not the price on the invoice. Core pick up was never entered in the computer despite six phone calls. Then they have the nerve to argue with you and tell you you're lying about how long it's been. Two weeks for a transmission, core pick up and it's still sitting here. Totally useless and dishonest. read more

Do not use these people. I purchased a part while looking at the part from the donor vehicle online. We were both looking at the part so I know it was correct. The part arrived 2 days later than promised. I drove an hour to them and an hour back only to have the part not even be close to the part we looked at online. Just the completely wrong part. Bait and switch. They the begrudgingly wrote me a credit. It's now been 5 days and I am still waiting for my refund. They continue to blame it on TD Bank but that clearly isn't the case. Just a flat out scam. I. Speaking with them they could care less and simply say "call your bank". BUYER BEWARE! read more

I requested a certain part for my truck and they never got back to me. I just don't understand a business like that.

My mother wanted to sell her car for scrap and I know it was not going to be a lot. $350 for a Mazda So we agreed to this to get rid of this car The guy at the place I got think his name is Scott said the tow truck GIRL would show up most likely on Friday. She should up at 8:00am with the tow truck I just woke up and had to wake up my Mother who is elderly to find the title and keys So after a few minutes I walked out to let the GIRL know that I had to clean out the car and to see if she could explain the process of signing over the title Before I could explain what was going on the GIRL started on a rant stating she's not a little kid while having a tantrum right then an there This auto dealer has had a bad reputation for years and I will NEVER tell everyone to go their again read more

I had a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee unfortunately the engine lost compression the engine was dead I called 3 other Salvage/Junk yards to see how much they would give me for my Jeep Grand Cherokee 3 Salvage yards said $300.00, $300.00 and $325.00 I told them all that the engine was junk I called Robertson's Auto Salvage they said they would write me out a check for $500.00 it was the owner I was dealing with so the next day a young woman came with a flatbed truck we gave her the title to the vehicle and got the check for $500.00 read more

Sean, I heard that explanation that day and know your policy. I won't get into why I was unable to bring it in earlier, again. But I do know in my three decades of driving and buying parts that a core charge is a way to increase profits when buying a new part. So the company can sell them to places that refurbish them for resale as a refurbished part. In this case where it is a used part off of a car that your company paid $300 for its pure profit. Somewhere down the line customer service comes into play and customer loyalty. This wasn't the only issue I've had at RAS over the years. It's just the most recent. I stand by my assessment as I've stayed silent on others in the past. If you mean everything in your reaction tell the guys at the sales counter to curb their negative attitudes. They're very rude. Especially the guy in the middle. On the phone or in person. Good lord! read more

First of all what kind of car parts place is closed on Saturday and Sunday?? but. . . I needed two wheels last week, one for my son's Jeep XJ and a donut spare for my wife's Nissan Quest. I had the day off on Tuesday so I found the "in stock" part #s online and went there first thing on Tuesday morning. They took the part #s and my $90 and told me that they would "try" to have them by the end of the day, I expected that it couldn't take too long to get a couple of wheels so I left my cell # and waited. No call on Tuesday. . .no call on Wednesday. . . .no call on Thursday so I called them on Thursday afternoon and was told that they weren't ready yet but they will get them and give me a call a little later. . . . no call on Thursday no call on Friday morning so I called again because we know that they are closed all weekend and I really think I've waited long enough. The wheels weren't ready but I was assured I could come by after lunch and they would have them. My son went over after school - nearly 4PM and they weren't ready but they could get them while he waited. after quite a long while they produced a piece of junk for the Jeep (the part I picked out had an "A" rating and they had to refund the donut spare because they just didn't have it. SO - I waited FOUR days for two "A" graded wheels and ended up with crap. - YOU BE THE JUDGE read more

Review of Robertson's Auto Salvage by Gerry DeLuca This place is horrible. I purchased an engine my Toyota Supra for $1,600 including tax. Robertsons gave me a 3 month warranty. A month a it took for the engine to go in the car. From that point on the Fiasco began. I was calling Terry at the service desk every week with problems from this engine. He told me was we bought this engine from somebody else. Three months and three days after the warranty was out, the head gasket blew. It was like pulling teeth to get $400 out of these guys because that's what they said the labor was on a head gasket. The mechanic pulled the head off the engine. Come to find out the block and pistons were all pitted from all the water sitting in the cylinders. On top of it all, the turbo turned out to be junk also. I have since found a new motor for my Toyota. Do yourself a favor keep away from this place. They are Crooks. Run away like your hair is on fire ! read more

I've been here one time and had a great experience. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and I felt that I was charge a fair price for what I needed. I walked in without calling or anything in advance, and I was leaving within 10-15 minutes. I expected some sort of hassle or at least a long wait but everything went really smoothly. read more

One of my worst experiences with a salvage yard. Researched for parts on eBay and found at least six at Robertson's. Paid for it and called same day to verify payment and part availability, spoke with Ebay sales clerk and she said it would be no problem and it would be worked on and part will be ready, since I told her that I was a local and couldn't wait the ten ship time. So I called back the next day and spoke with sales manager because Ebay sales clerk took the day off, I guess, memorial weekend, and was told he would send some employees out to the yard to check for parts and call back. Ok so now I'm waiting in anticipation for some good news. Well i found out the hard hard way when he called back and said none of those parts posted on eBay were available at all, trucks either crushed, or incorrect paperwork. So you can imagine how furious I was at that point. I needed a part, it was posted on eBay, I paid for and nothing. Ok I got my refund, so what! Oh yeah I gave it one star so I could write this post, they should get a negative five stars as far as I'm concerned. read more

Stay Away if possible, I spend over 6 hours on road, gas, traffics and all for nothing. I called them twice to check if they have a leather seat for Ford Excursion and they said yes, we got 1, leather and in really good condition, but when I stopped by there we're find out what seat is not leather 1 and in really bad condition and when I spoke to my wife, we decided to take whatever it is, but the old men over there told me what it's 25 min to close, so it's no time to bring that seat on front, RELLY???????? There is only 1 click to remove that 3rd row seat, AFTER ALL I ALREADY HAD BECAUSE OF HIM?????? Over 6 hours drive, gas expenses, my time and he said what he don't care. DON'T GO THERE, NO RESPECT, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, IT'S JUST REAL JUNK YARD. read more

I just figured that there should be another review to balance out the one poor one...because I think these guys are great! I was able to find just the part I wanted, but couldn't tell entirely if it was the right color/fit from the photos available on Robertson's website. So I called, and discovered that there was no problem coming down, going into the yard (just need to be sure you're wearing closed-toe shoes), identifying the part and then pulling it with my own tools. The staff helped me bring it back out of the yard. I don't think that Robertson's is usually a U-Pull yard, but the point is that if you call them and are reasonable I think they'll work hard to help you out. Just what I'd expect from any service-oriented family business. Finally, I'll just add that they have A LOT more inventory than what's posted on the website. This is a huge place. And to respond to the other reviewer who's complaining about the lack of weekend hours...well, I've found that most salvage yards and old-school businesses like this are not open on weekends. That may be a bummer, but it's the industry norm, so I wouldn't take it out on this place in particular. read more

I would give this no stars if I could! So here is where my story starts... my fiancée needed a new used engine for his gmc truck so after talking with the sales man Tony stating they had a 6 month warranty and they check their engines we decided to purchase the engine which was graded A. Well a private mechanic that has done my families work for years installs the engine starts it up and it has a rod knock like you wouldn't believe. AWESOME RIGHT! We call Tony up and he will replace it and since it is the only place with the engine we need clearly we are stuck. Today I called up and asked to speak with a manager because now from the mechanic I am being charged for taking the shit engine out and now to again put a new one in. I spoke with Terry and let me tell you what a pompous and patronizing guy! Not only did he say he will not give me some sort of credit for the engine since they blatantly lied about checking the engine he was basically calling me and my fiancée liars saying they never said they check the engines! Um hello why would we buy an engine that wasn't previously checked!? and now I am pissing away 800 dollars because some low life decides to lie! Through out the whole conversation he contradicted himself going from they can't check the engines long enough to listen for rod knocks (umm what that shit was making the car shake) not to mention in the same breath he said they don't check all engines! At this point he can take my money and attend a business class or maybe some self help sessions to learn to be a better human being and bussiness person! This place is a joke and karma is a bitch in the mean time I will continue to try not to be like this joke of a human being who decides to rip people off and not give two shits! They are lucky I am a mother of two and don't have time for a judge judy trial!! read more

I bought a motor from them last week, it had higher miles which I was skeptical about, but I needed a motor asap and it was the only one available in the area. I was assured everything would be covered if there was any issues with it. Well I went to put the motor in my truck, drained the old oil out of it, and it came out looking like chocolate milk. Anyone who knows cars knows that means it has head gasket issues. Being the motor has aluminum heads, it also means they are most likely warped. I called them, calm and not mad about it at all, and explained to tell them what happened. The guy on the phone proceeded to tell me they drain the motors before they sell them and there's no possible way I drained anything out of that engine. So anyways, I brought the motor back, after being called a liar on the phone, and explained to them I had several other mechanics check out the motor and they all said the same thing, the motors junk. Then the service manager told me multiple times that there was no way that oil came out of the engine. Even after I showed him pictures of the oil draining and a video that I took of all the junk at the bottom of the oil pan and he told me that the pictures I had were from a different motor. I wouldn't have been so mad about it if they just listened to me and took the motor back without the hassle. I wasn't mad when I called about it, I understand that this stuff happens especially at a junk yard. But since they couldn't handle it like professionals, it's become a huge issue especially since they restocked the motor and plan to resell it after I told them multiple times it was no good. So some other person who buys it is going to deal with the same thing I had to. read more

I bought a used 2003 Subaru gas tank from Robertsons. This was a side project for my mechanic, so took took a while to get around to the repair, and I just found out that the tank was no good... in worse condition than the tank I was trying to replace. Granted, 4 months had passed since I purchased the part, but it hadn't even been used. Robertson sold me something that was worthless. There was no negotiating, no recognition of the fact that they sold me a piece of junk. Not good business! read more
